Long story short: vibes are great! For a good time come on…read moredown. But don't go here hungry. And LEAVE YOUR KIDS AT HOME!!! Short story long: Parking: super easy, they had a designated spot to the left of the restaurant with many spots. After you park it's just a short walk to the front, you have to go around to the front (street view) to enter. The place: the atmosphere is great! It's open air restaurant. This is a self serve place where if you want something you have to go up and order yourself. But! We have drinks flowing, music blaring the vibes are vibing.. this is set up to have the food and drink stations on the outer sides of the place and all the seating in the middle. They have live bands playing music all day and a dance floor for you to dance. Zero judgment! Drinks: they have just canatritos, which is tequila-freshly squeezed orange juice- squirt-lime-salt with ice in a clay cup. You can order a variety of sizes with a variety of different tequilas to choose from. You order your drink first and then you have to take it to the drink counter to put your order in. You will show receipt and they'll make your drink in front of you in a souvenir clay cup you can take home. MANY take the cups to the parking lot to crack! There is clay all over the parking lot including a giant clay pile of broken cantaritos. Food: Now because of the food my rating is what it is. The food is okay, it's not great but it's not bad, its bar eats, you don't go for the food. My party of 20 went and ordered food and it was the same set up as drinks, you order your food at the self serve kiosk (card ONLY) or you can order food at the counter with cash. After waiting 10min to order food you are given a number on your receipt but DO NOT BE FOOLED, that numbers means NOTHING!!!! You still have to go to the food counter another line and show your receipt to place your order. It took over an hour to get a hamburger and fries. It took over 30min to get tacos and over an hour to get my shrimp dishes and wings. The wings are generous but the tacos are small, they're American size street tacos, so order more. The service attendant who takes your food order is sooo slow, I don't know how else to say it. There is no urgency having essentially a mob of ppl (because there are so many) every food item is made to order. So is it fresh, Yeah! But they're set up on taking orders and delivering food is ridiculous. Nothing I cooked ahead of time. There should be absolutely no reason it should take an hour to get your food. And I went during the weekday and half the restaurant was empty. The taste wasn't there.. even my tacos were lacking flavor. How do y'all mess up tacos in Mexico?!? Just eat before coming here or bring in your snacks because wtf?! Restrooms: There are plenty for the size of the space and the ppl it hosts. There is a designated puke sink for everyone right outside the bathrooms. As well as a vending machine with lots of items that are helpful incase you forget anything. The ppl: There are tons of different ppl here we had families-guy groups-girl groups- bachelorettes-friend groups, everything! And yes many foreigners but ans equal amount of locals. I would say you technically can bring the kids because many ppl did but ugh I really wish they didn't.. there are lots of people here wanting to have a good time and I just heard a lot of crying, whining and children screaming and it just wasn't the vibe. Seating: The set up is all tree trunks. Tables are tree trunks and chairs are tree trunks, it actually not as comfortable but whatever.

Amazing spot. My husband and I were researching restaurants in Amatitan Jalisco and this came well…read morerecommended. We showed up a few minutes after opening, luggage in tow, and were seated almost immediately. When we were sat at our spot, we walked through part of the property and some ruins. The entrance boasted some old wooden furniture and what seemed like a formal dining room complete with (empty) cabinets and barrels used for aging tequila. When we walked through, we saw some ponds (complete with koi and turtles), grassy areas, trees, bridges, and other historic and picturesque scenic views. They also made artesinal tequilas onsite that they offered tastes of. My husband and I opted for two options: Shrimp with rice and salad, as well as a meat dish in some sort of stew. They came with warm tortillas and sauces. We also got 2 glasses of their artesanal tequila. The food came out quickly and was full of flavor. The portions were the perfect size--not too big or small, and the tequila was honestly pretty nice. There were a few additives in the products, but it still went down smoothly. It was a nice relaxing spot, but we didn't go on the cave tour to see the ruins. Since we were pressed for time, we opted to leave. It was a nice setting and enviroment, and seemed to be quite a few people coming in to either enjoy the views or eat at this spot. The restaurant has street parking and there were plenty of spots when we were looking in the area. Can't wait to return for a future visit.

Tucked behind the Los Abolengos Grand Class hotel, this little gem has some of the best food in all…read moreof Tequila in a tranquil setting. The grounds of this place are beautiful. The complaint about service being slow is odd to me because the food here is delicious and it's all made to order, to me it did not seem slow and I ate here a few times, remember this is Tequila, Mexico one needs to slow down and enjoy the scenery. Here's what I recommend: The Sopes: 4 small sopes that are perfection, perfect as a meal or to share, start as an appetizer. Queso Fundido with Rajas: Grilled Mexican Cheese a classic and they do it well here. Grilled Vegetable Salad: A vegans dream minus the cheese. Calabacitas, tomatoes, peppers grilled on a bed of lettuce in an light olive oil dressing. It was delicious my friend who isn't really into salads enjoyed the dish Tacos: HUGE tacos made the Mexican way, a must try. The order comes with 3 tacos also enough to share. The Tortilla Soup. I have never had it served this way and let me tell you it's the best way; the dish is served with tortillas and chicharones, the waitress comes and pours the hot soup over the chicharones and tortillas that you'll hear it snap, crackle and pop. I am actually really impressed with this dish. GUACAMOLE: a must. The service isn't slow, it just takes time to cool good food. I highly recommend this place, it's immaculate, super clean and inspiring. I can't say the same thing about the hotel but this restaurant takes the cake. I would come back here again. The only thing I would change is that the manager or whoever is in charge take business calls out of floor and into maybe an office. But that's easy.

I would give this restaurant a 2.2. It is very beautiful tucked in a corner of a hotel (the hotel…read morelooks lovely). It was away from traffic which was amazing. I came in a party of 9 while one other party was finishing up. I ordered a Molcajete of pollo y camarón. After we ordered half of my group was fed in a timely manner. Mine and the other half of my group was served just as the first half was finished. The time management is ridiculous. Now if the restaurant was full I would have been more lenient, but we were the only ones seated. Now that my food took forever to make I thought I would fall in love, but it was ok. I didn't love it nor did I hate it. When we got the check the price were too much for the food. We spent a little over $100. Would I come back for the food? No. Would I come back for the view/relaxation? Yes. It is a really nice place to read or take pictures.
