My favorite drink is Otoño en Guadalajara, but there is a shortage of chartreuse, so it wasn't available this time around! :( I hope them French Monks get it together asap as we are in dire need of some Chartreuse! The beer variety was alright, nothing to write home about, but they carried some local cerverca artesenales, and also some harder to find Modelo and Corona seasonals. But more importantly the bar had all the delicious affordable Mexican beers Mexico has to offer! If you make friends there, the bar will become alive and the beer will never stop flowing between the caguamas you and the local drunks pop open. Don't know much about the food menu, but the locals kept saying to try the peanuts-pitiados! Pro-tip, be friendly to the local bartender Bons, and he will pour and play anything you want on the stereo peron!

Their specialty that day was a pitaya drink, served in a HUGE challis! In Mexico you can always expect botanas at a bar and their botanas were delish: salted popcorn, jicama, carrots, cucumber w lemon and tajin, and pickeld pork skin. Was Visiting Jalisco and came across this Speak Easy bar…read more. Definitely recommend checking this place out, we came on a Thursday night and it was vibing... We did not make reservations before hand, but they still let us in since it wasn't at max capacity... The location is inside a Law office building, and there is a gate to get to the door. (We waited here until someone came out to help us.) Let's start with the ambiance and Bar itself... The ambiance was great, the music was popping and made you want to dance all night, they have booths and tables for large groups to sit at. The crowd was a mix of young and older. So it was comfortable and we didn't feel out of place... THE DRINKS !!! Everything we tried was AMAZING !!! They have a huge drink menu, and they come out in the coolest cutest cups ! That was definitely one of my favorite things about this place.. The cups !!! They don't have a physical menu. You have to scan a barcode and see all of the drinks they offer.. Short story long: Parking: super easy, they had a designated spot to the left of the restaurant with many spots. After you park it's just a short walk to the front, you have to go around to the front (street view) to enter. The place: the atmosphere is great! It's open air restaurant. This is a self serve place where if you want something you have to go up and order yourself. But! We have drinks flowing, music blaring the vibes are vibing.. this is set up to have the food and drink stations on the outer sides of the place and all the seating in the middle. They have live bands playing music all day and a dance floor for you to dance. Zero judgment! Drinks: they have just canatritos, which is tequila-freshly squeezed orange juice- squirt-lime-salt with ice in a clay cup. You can order a variety of sizes with a variety of different tequilas to choose from. You order your drink first and then you have to take it to the drink counter to put your order in. You will show receipt and they'll make your drink in front of you in a souvenir clay cup you can take home. MANY take the cups to the parking lot to crack! There is clay all over the parking lot including a giant clay pile of broken cantaritos. Food: Now because of the food my rating is what it is. The food is okay, it's not great but it's not bad, its bar eats, you don't go for the food. My party of 20 went and ordered food and it was the same set up as drinks, you order your food at the self serve kiosk (card ONLY) or you can order food at the counter with cash. After waiting 10min to order food you are given a number on your receipt but DO NOT BE FOOLED, that numbers means NOTHING!!!! You still have to go to the food counter another line and show your receipt to place your order. It took over an hour to get a hamburger and fries. It took over 30min to get tacos and over an hour to get my shrimp dishes and wings. The wings are generous but the tacos are small, they're American size street tacos, so order more. The service attendant who takes your food order is sooo slow, I don't know how else to say it. There is no urgency having essentially a mob of ppl (because there are so many) every food item is made to order. So is it fresh, Yeah! But they're set up on taking orders and delivering food is ridiculous. Nothing I cooked ahead of time. There should be absolutely no reason it should take an hour to get your food. And I went during the weekday and half the restaurant was empty. The taste wasn't there.. even my tacos were lacking flavor. How do y'all mess up tacos in Mexico?!? Just eat before coming here or bring in your snacks because wtf?! Restrooms: There are plenty for the size of the space and the ppl it hosts. There is a designated puke sink for everyone right outside the bathrooms. As well as a vending machine with lots of items that are helpful incase you forget anything. The ppl: There are tons of different ppl here we had families-guy groups-girl groups- bachelorettes-friend groups, everything! And yes many foreigners but ans equal amount of locals. I would say you technically can bring the kids because many ppl did but ugh I really wish they didn't.. there are lots of people here wanting to have a good time and I just heard a lot of crying, whining and children screaming and it just wasn't the vibe. Seating: The set up is all tree trunks. Tables are tree trunks and chairs are tree trunks, it actually not as comfortable but whatever.
