Best milkshake I have ever had. Super friendly staff. Love their selection of old fashioned candy.

I'm glad they opened a new parlor here! The inside is clean and has vintage seating! The ice cream…read moreis not the usual brand and is really delicious! The gentleman behind the counter was friendly and a family man. We ordered two individual scoops of ice cream plus a chocolate chip cookie. The black raspberry chip was something I haven't seen in a long time and I enjoyed all of it! My wife had the cosmic cookie flavor and that was out of this world good!. We have not eaten the cookie yet, so no idea what that was like, but I am sure it is good down to the last crumb. Oh, and the hot fudge was a great addition to the cosmic cookie flavor and the serving had to be put in a bigger cup to hold it all together!

Seriously, if you're going to splurge on sweets, you might as well go high-quality and it doesn't get any better than this ! If that's not enough to draw you in, the service is unbeatable. You can't get any friendlier and who doesn't want to support a true family small business? Every one who works there makes you feel like a valued customer, and are so clearly happy to be there...what a pleasure! We were so sad when Ivy's closed, as it was a favorite place to go for a special treat, so we were very excited to see Sweets & Bean open in its place---and now it's our new favorite! Can't wait for them to add coffee

Always wanted to go strawberry picking, but every year we miss the picking window…read more This year we finally went. Chose Stade's based on reviews, availability and location. It was great and would definitely go again! Pricing is fair. They require a $7 minimum per person. It wasn't a problem for us because we chose (2) 4 quart buckets. As of June 2026, 1 qt was $7, 2 qt $14 and 4 qt was $20. I feel their pricing is fair esp given the price of berries recently. They provide the buckets that you keep. You can either take a trolley, train (extra charge) or walk. The field wasn't too far about 10-15 min. We opted to walk both ways. The strawberry fields were pretty big. I highly recommend coming early in the day because it gets busy and the earlier you come, the bigger the berries. They stagger their plantings so it stretches the season longer. They also have lettuce, radishes, cilantro, raspberries and sugar snap peas this weekend. Everything except sugar snap peas were a separate charge. All of their pricing is on their website and their Facebook page has their availability for the day. Strollers and wagons are welcome, but no dogs. The market is worth checking out. They had meats, pies, gifts, donuts, drinks and some produce. I highly recommend the strawberry lemonade slushy. It was refreshing after a couple of hours in the sun. The strawberry donut was tasty, too. It was moist and tender and not terribly sweet. Will definitely be back next year for more strawberry picking. We may comeback for other pickings later this year.

I am just talking about the market area as I have no grandchildren who can enjoy the stuff for kids…read moreto do. Our favorite orchard experienced a full crop failure of apples this year. I went to Stade's to pick up apples. Because I am allergic to yellow jackets there was no u-pick option for me. I was glad to find Honeycrisp apples and a few other things plus those delicious apple cider doughnuts. I gotta get back before they close for the season. The people are wonderful and the place is packed with so many things.
