I got chocolate covered pretzel rod pieces, and a couple of on sale Christmas chocolates: bear claw and chocolate covered oreo's. I didn't know what a bear claw was (or if I'm calling it the right thing), but they said it was like a bigger turtle. It was delicous. The chocolate pretzles and oreo's were great too.

But as we started to wend our way through these dark, unlit side streets, the rain became torrential and we turned around to look for main road and lights. So here we were on a beautiful Sunday and came across Rita's and even though we just had a filling lunch, we stopped in. And crazily enough, we got a parking spot right out front. Though the road is very busy and I don't suggest parking on it with kids in the car. Just drive around the corner and park. I had no idea about other parking because we were in an area that we were unfamiliar with. My wife got the black raspberry flavor and I got chocolate banana mixed with campfire marshmallow. Wow!!! So freakin' good, and creamy and delicious. Can I explain how good it was? It was so good that I don't need to compare it. It's packed with flavor but not overly so. The chocolate banana was like eating a chocolate covered banana. The campfire marshmallow tasted like I was at that bonfire. I was in heaven. I'm still in heaven. Why? Because I'm typing this up months later and my mouth is watering as I reminisce about it. Now I want Rita's and there isn't a close location. Dammit. I'll have to go tomorrow and get some. That's how good it was!

It was actually a ton of fun pulling veggies straight out of the ground and hunting for the best berries. Felt super satisfying and kinda meditative. Definitely a good way to spend a few hours outdoors. Pro tip: there's no shade at all in the fields, so wear long pants, long sleeves, a hat, and sunglasses unless you want to roast.
