But, this is the joy of finding hidden gems like Lehmann's. It reminds you to never judge a book by its cover! We first went here a long time ago, but since we don't live in the area, we have had to order kringles online. Both experiences still hold up to this day. The pastries are delicious and massive, depending on what you order. Their eclairs, for instance, are gigantic! But, to me, the real winner is the kringle. I love their creative and seasonal fillings! They freeze very well, so if you don't eat a ton of sweets like me at one time, then you can freeze them in portions and heat them back up as needed. Convenient! I'm not going to pretend to be Scandinavian, so I won't speak to how "authentic" they are, but I enjoy them. And so has everyone else I've introduced them to. I think that speaks enough for itself. Love this place, love the great service we always get here, and I can't wait to visit it again some day!
