The care these educators have for the children is evident through their actions. The elements used to teach is amazing and relatable to my child. I often hear my child counting in Spanish while we drive home from school. Ms. Vanessa is our teacher and she is just the best. She expects the kids to act a certain way and they don't want to disappoint her because they love her so much. Overall, this Primrose is definitely up there amongst the best schools in Colorado, as well as, the best decision we have ever made for our little one. Thanks, Primrose Shadow Canyon!

My Montessori director had a Primrose connection and this school out of all the Primroses was recommended to me. I cannot say enough about how wonderful the leadership team including Maria, Lauren and Natalie are. You feel welcome, they truly care about your child and they still know how to run a great business. The teacher tenure is outstanding and it's not uncommon for teachers to have 10+ years at Shadow Canyon. This is mind blowing for the childcare industry and that alone speaks volumes. Happy, engaged employees = happy customers (or in this case, children and their families). I have had both a infant-toddler and a preschooler in this school and was super happy both times. I went out of my way to attend this school until it was no longer feasible with a commute from the foothills. I promise you get what you pay for and it is 110% worth it!

They're so on top of everything and great communicators. We're also blessed to have Ms. Becky as our daughter's lead teacher, she is beyond thoughtful and compassionate and all of her students clearly love her, including our daughter. Our daughter is excited every day to go to school at Goddard and you can see how much fun she has with her endless smiling in her photos. You can see the variety of creative learning projects her class is constantly doing and we can see the quick progress our daughter is making; new words, learning body parts, songs, sign language, etc. Thanks for letting us rest easy knowing our girl is in great hands each week! :)

We have had 3 kids go through Goddard, and will be sorry to see it go when our last is finished. We toured pre-schools in Denver, Lone Tree and Highlands Ranch before making our decision. Any of the Goddard Schools would have been sufficient but we were moving from Denver to South Denver and decided it was best to have the kids close. We based our decision on three factors: cleanliness of the building, educational curriculum, and attentiveness/quality of the staff. Most of the schools we visited felt more like daycares than preschool - classes were organized around play rather than balanced play/learning. Goddard was the only school that offered any sort of appreciable curriculum, and you could visibly see the transition from play to education as you moved up in classrooms. We now have three kids that can count in English, Spanish, Chinese and Vietnamese! The building is a newer building that always seems clean, and when there was a leak, the affected room was sealed off and professionally cleaned/restored by a reputable restoration company the day after the leak because the staff was concerned for the health of the kids. Some of the staff we have known for our entire time at the school, and they are personable, approachable, and fantastic with the kids. If we have had issues with any of the teachers the problem is usually addressed quickly. Couldn't recommend this place enough. It's a fantastic school.

These will show clearly not only does the owner not care about child safety but that these kids are being ignored by the teachers. If a teacher was paying attention and not talking to friends on their phones most of these could have been avoided. I have a ton more issues with this school and owner. The issues include: My daughter being left with spoiled milk for extended periods during full school days on multiple occasions. Being informed that there is no standard practice to replace children's cups with fresh water during the day or to clean them routinely. Frequent minor injuries occurring on a near-weekly basis, which I believe are related to inadequate supervision. I have personally observed staff using phones during classroom hours instead of actively monitoring the children. A consistent lack of communication regarding my daughter's daily activities. Despite being told she participates in art daily, I have never received any of her work. A noticeable behavioral change in my daughter. She was previously comfortable and social; she is now fearful of returning and appears anxious around other children. When I ask about my daughter's day at drop-off or pick-up, I am often ignored or treated as though my questions are an inconvenience. She PHYSICALLY PUSHED me ( to show how kids play which was passive aggressive) when I was complaining about my kid being bullied in front of my eyes. Right from when we started it was a constant headache dealing with her. We found the person unprofessional; had poor, rude, and passive-aggressive communication, and was unwilling to address and solve any problems and had overall defensive and bullying attitude. The said teacher, neither had any connection with my kid nor was she interested in his progress. She was more interested in doing art/craft projects which she enjoys, than promoting any social/ academic skills in kids. She would constantly complain to me about all the boys in the class and would give time outs without explaining why to the kid; so not giving him the opportunity to improve or to know what's expected of him and would NOT take any action against BULLYING/bad behavior in kids. (She said she wants my 3 year old kid to fight the bully.) The director while did take action against a bully; we had to endure 2 stressful months of constant back and forth and we had figure out what was going on from my 3 year old kid. The current class teacher was unhelpful and would tell my kid that the bully did not hit him even if he says to me he was hit. The current director was very friendly with my hubby and would give me cold shoulder and totally ignore me and my kid when he was with me. So my hubby had to do all the conversation regarding bullying with her from his very busy schedule. It was very petty, childish and unprofessional behavior from the director. I would not recommend the Raccoon preschool teacher and the current director.

It's clear they take the responsibility of providing a quality Christ-focused education very seriously. Not just in high scoring academics, but in shaping and nurturing the character of young people. These kids are very blessed to have this school that cares so deeply for their lives. The results show in the students! As I was waiting in the hall for a couple minutes, a couple 12 year old kids introduced themselves to me on their own initiative, and we carried on a mature conversation. I really believe in what this school is doing, and am so glad for every child that has the opportunity to attend here!

We went through their very lengthy application process including having to pay for an application fee and $165 for student testing fee. I took my son to the testing. The staff said I had to wait outside the room during his testing and they would privately test my son. After the test, I asked how everything went and what was done during the test. They refused to tell me any details following the test (which was a bit uncomfortable), but told me it would be discussed during our family interview. Again, at the family interview they did not discuss my son's testing...My son is entering kindergarten and is reading at a first grade level. His preschool teachers regularly tell me he is ahead academically. I wasn't concerned about his performance but I do like to know what was discussed with my child and how he did. A day before May 1st, we finally received an answer regarding his admission. He was not accepted there was zero explanation for their decision. Just a short e-mail saying your not accepted, our policy is to not give any reasoning behind our decision, thanks for your time and money. The application was long, drawn out, lacked transparency about what testing your child is being given... and then their answer came at nearly the end of the school year. It is now very late for us to start looking into other programs as many of them are already filled. I called again to see if I could have the results of the testing we paid for but they never returned my call. Ultimately, we know it is best that he was not admitted. We do not want our child in a program that is not transparent with us as parents. It is just very frustrating to have waisted so much time, money and effort to apply. You may match all the criteria they have listed and they will gladly allow you to put in all the effort with zero intention of admitting your child or valuing your family.

Our daughter was painfully shy, and had a difficult time speaking with other kids, and wouldn't even consider talking to other adults. A COVID kid through and through. She is a November baby, so she couldn't go into school until she was almost four, as she is past the October 1 deadline. Lucky for us, St. Luke's offers a 2.5 year old program structured like preschool for kids that would normally have to wait an extra year. Since starting at the Little School our child has blossomed. She is playing with other kids, talking to adults, and her vocabulary has doubled. Her teacher is so thoughtful and considerate, and they are always doing fun activities. She's regularly doing and saying things I had no idea she knew how to do or say! She also loves it, and says "I wanna go to preschool" every morning when she wakes up. We are so thankful for the Little School, and absolutely plan on keeping her enrolled until she enters kindergarten. They have totally changed our child for the better! If anything, I just wish she went more.
