I had the pleasure of visiting this fine school recently, and was very impressed! I met several of the teachers, and even sat down with the chairman of the board. It's clear they take the responsibility of providing a quality Christ-focused education very seriously. Not just in high scoring academics, but in shaping and nurturing the character of young people. These kids are very blessed to have this school that cares so deeply for their lives. The results show in the students! As I was waiting in the hall for a couple minutes, a couple 12 year old kids introduced themselves to me on their own initiative, and we carried on a mature conversation. Our family started the application process for our son to enter Arma Dei Collaborative kindergarten (Fall/2026) in October of 2025. We met all the criteria they had listed. We went through their very lengthy application process including having to pay for an application fee and $165 for student testing fee. I took my son to the testing. The staff said I had to wait outside the room during his testing and they would privately test my son. After the test, I asked how everything went and what was done during the test. They refused to tell me any details following the test (which was a bit uncomfortable), but told me it would be discussed during our family interview. Again, at the family interview they did not discuss my son's testing...My son is entering kindergarten and is reading at a first grade level. His preschool teachers regularly tell me he is ahead academically. I wasn't concerned about his performance but I do like to know what was discussed with my child and how he did. A day before May 1st, we finally received an answer regarding his admission. He was not accepted there was zero explanation for their decision. Just a short e-mail saying your not accepted, our policy is to not give any reasoning behind our decision, thanks for your time and money. The application was long, drawn out, lacked transparency about what testing your child is being given... and then their answer came at nearly the end of the school year. It is now very late for us to start looking into other programs as many of them are already filled. I called again to see if I could have the results of the testing we paid for but they never returned my call. Ultimately, we know it is best that he was not admitted. We do not want our child in a program that is not transparent with us as parents. It is just very frustrating to have waisted so much time, money and effort to apply. You may match all the criteria they have listed and they will gladly allow you to put in all the effort with zero intention of admitting your child or valuing your family. read more

Wow, very much is to be said on this school or parts of it. First of all, to make myself clear, this is academically an amazing school. The grades up to eight are great and teach you so much about faith and real world aspects. I would one hundred percent recommend this school but only up to 8th grade. After, it's not the best Many people understand how underdeveloped the high school or school of rhetoric is and send there kids to bigger school that will give them many opportunities to find what they like and meet many people. Thus, the high school doesn't have many kids to start with. Most of these kids are VERY dumbfounded in the real world and have some of the worst social skills. The only ones that do are the ones that get out of the little, underdeveloped antisocial ecosystem of the high school and participate in sports and extracurricular activities in different schools or different people. Thus, of the majority of the rest of the kids at the school are straight up weird and lack many skills that would have been acquired buy going to different schools like Valor. Another thing to be talked about is the dean of rhetoric, Dr.Aron Delinger. Now, if your student is incredibly good and never breaks the rules (this stereotype definitely relates to all the students in the ecosystem), then they will be on the deans good side. Now my student has had friends that aren't in this bubble and gets In trouble occasionally. These kids are often very nice and good, but they get on the wrong side of Dr.Delinger and he get INSANELY bias. My son, for his saftey I will not say his name, was denied access from the school prom because he didn't rsvp. Now our family was planning to travel to Denmark during this period but cancelled all our plans a week before the dance so he can go. Now, because he missed the rsvp he was denied a ticket to the school prom. My son and my whole family were outraged how we cancelled a whole trip but were denied. Anyway, he was planning to buy a ticket from his friend who got one but couldn't go, but Dr Delinger denied this and gave the ticket (from the kid that wasn't even offering it to him) and gave it to another kid who didn't rsvp but actually wanted to go. There are many things I could talk about on Dr.Delinger but it would exceed the text limit on the review. All in all, not pleased with this man and neither are many of the kids. As he said to a girl in my sons grade, and what should be said to him, "please leave the school permanently; this is not an expulsion because it would look bad on me, but your not allowed back." All in all, this is a good school to go to up till 8th grade, but if you have a extrovert, athletic, and a kid looking to expand and grow, don't send them here Thank you read more

Arma Dei is an incredible place. The faculty and staff are steadfast in their mission for the school. Our kids have attended Arma Dei for many years and we are so thankful for the work that the Lord has done and is doing at Arma Dei. The commitment to a counter cultural view of the world and to life that places its focus on Jesus and the work he did on the cross is a constant encouragement to our family. The selfless way that the faculty daily pours into our kids builds them up and sets an important example that life is not about them but about what you can do for others. We cannot imagine life without Arma Dei Academy, so thankful. read more

Our daughter has attended the CLP program for 2 years now and we have only great things to say about it. We feel so thankful for Arma Dei as it has allowed us to provide our daughter a school experience that feels like an extension of our home's values and faith. Here's a quick snap shot of the stress this school put our family through August 2023. The facts are: 1. we moved from AZ to this part of CO specifically for ADA 2. We were promised verbally in person during our in person interview that our kids would be placed in a 4th grade class with a total of 16. 3. This was the HCP option that would fill the gap while we waited for full time spot for our twins. This was discussed with the director of communications for the full time program and the HCP. 4. Our signed contract was for fourth grade. 5. Training for the HCP was originally 3 days then reduced to 1 day. 6. Director of HCP gets fired one week before school 7. Training (5days prior to first day of school), we are informed by new director/Dean of HCP that we no longer have a set curriculum, therefore we can use whatever we want. (It's not possible to order curriculum quick enough to arrive by start of school). 8. My twins show up on their first day of fourth grade to a 5th grade class with only 4 other kids. (This was a shock to us). 9. I emailed that evening asking for an immediate call the next morning to discuss my concern). By noon with no phone call they clearly didn't see this as a priority. So we toured CHCS as our next option. 10. We knew immediately after day one this program was no longer a fit nor was it what we were promised. 11. We requested our full tuition back as we only went one day and it was not what we signed up for. 12. Head of board, founder of the school G.V. , informed us the school would be keeping our tuition. During his correspondence with us his tactics were very shady, disrespectful, and narcissistic. We felt he showed his true colors and compromised his integrity. We don't believe they handled this Biblically at all. If I had known they operated like this I would never have enrolled. Would you be okay with this sequence of events and a school keeping your full tuition when they failed to deliver on their word and contract? P.s Greg Vigil's behavior and actions are that of a crook, he's quite manipulative and uses bullying tactics. He is the founder and interim head of the board but yet he wrote his own 5 star review as though he was just another parent attending the school. Talk about conflict of interest and being misleading. The leadership oozes arrogance and elitism. Spoiler alert: We absolutely love CHCS so God clearly wanted us there but it took a bumpy road getting there read more

This is our second year at Arma Dei. The teachers are loving and kind. They teach our kids to have outstanding character, and when there are disputes in the class, the kids are encouraged to work them out in a biblical way. The teachings at Arma Dei are phenomenal. They weave the Bible into every course, including STEM. We love that science and STEM and history and language arts, while all their own classes, are interwoven to often cover the same time period. My first grader learned to write secret messages in invisible ink while studying about Paul Revere while my 3rd grader built an aqueduct while studying about Ancient Greece. The head of school comes out and greets the kids by name in driveline in the mornings. The teachers and student all know each other. I never expected to find so many like-minded parents. Arma Dei is a family, and I would not send my child anywhere else. read more

If I could go lower than one star I would. Unfortunately, our children are still processing emotional issues and scarring caused 3 years after we attended this school. It is the single biggest regret of my life. Emotional scars will be carried with my son probably for life, we cannot go back. I would estimate that since we have left, at least once per month we discuss with our children one or more of the topics from the following shortlist of issues we experienced at Arma Dei: poor classroom management, unloving attitudes, poor adult conduct, injustices, favoritism, unwillingness to allow parental involvement within the classroom, bullying, unkind adult interaction with children, fair and honest conflict resolution. Often times these conversations end with teary eyes, raw emotions and lots of prayer for healing and wisdom. ADA hold themselves with very high esteem, and maybe this is the reason for the "good showing" that they put on so exuberantly, and the stiff-necked resiliency administrators display when confronted with parental concerns regarding their own child's welfare, mental well being, self worth and confidence. If I could rate lower than this I would. This is a true review not from an employee or board member. My daughter attended this school for kindergarten and first grade. As a parent this to date is my biggest parenting regret. This school broke her in every way possible. She cried everyday going to school. This school has a complete lack of competent leadership from the board through the administration. The lack of accountability as well as infrastructure to run a successful school is not there. At one point the board offered to pay for my daughters tutoring but never did. It was discovered on alternate testing that she did not have the skills she needed however the school said she did. Additionally there is no synergy across curriculum. Each teacher does as he/she pleases which does not bode well for the students. Many teachers do not have a teaching degree or license. If you needed medical attention you would not go to a person who was passionate about medicine you would go to a doctor. If I'm spending a lot of money a year on education I want qualified people teaching my kids. This does not have the qualified people it needs. Report cards are a joke. They do not accurately and consistently evaluate students. They are confusing and very subjective. This was the worst decision we have ever made. Our daughter did outside testing and tested on the gifted side however she did not learn in the box of copying things off the board and the box that Arma Dei forces her into. We are so grateful to not be there anymore as even in recent weeks the policy changes have been happening at this school making it worse not better. If this is what Christians look like we do not want any part of it. If we can save just one person from attending this school from this review it was successful. Having one kid in college and another in high school, I have a big "rear view mirror" by which to judge and evaluate lower school and middle school education. We have a first grader at Arma Dei and she started there in K. We are continually impressed with this school's approach to the whole child - academics are very strong at this school, as is the faith foundation. The class sizes are small - just 12 in our first grade. Our daughter is thriving and growing in her faith, maturity, responsibility and she loves going to school. If I could do it all over (and had Arma Dei been around for them), I would have sent the older two to this school without hesitation. There are no "holes" in the classical curriculum and this school executes its mission with excellence. I have no doubt that our first grader will be, of our three, the most prepared for a high school and college experience. read more

Discovering this school has truly been an answer to my prayers as a mother desiring and seeking an abundant Christian education with a challenging and rigorous curriculum. Arma Dei has figured out how to provide this in a fun and loving environment in which the children thrive! You will not understand or believe the level of academic excellence, character building, love for Christ, accountability, structure, and all around rich and solid education until you actually see with your own eyes. This is made possible at the open houses which run from November - May. My children are excited to go to school and feel safe and loved by each and every staff member they encounter each day. When it comes to private education, my standards are very high and Arma Dei meets if not exceeds those standards. My mind is at ease knowing our family values are being reinforced at school, and I am at peace knowing that my children are experiencing an unmatched Christian based education provided by extremely educated teachers with a love and a passion not only for teaching, but also for Christ. read more
