No need to worry about the doctor spending extra time with you, the timer starts as soon as the…read morephysician assistant enters the room, You have 20 minutes and they make sure your done befor that. I would definitely stay away from any of the "Premiere Ortho" Group of practices. Had a similar experience at the Brinton Lake office a few years back. I will definitely complain to my primary about this continued issue. They weren't able to fix the problem then either....used up all my physical therapy time though before they told me. UGH.

I didn't have any really positive experiences in any of the Premiere Orthopaedic practices after…read moregoing to them for 2 different issues. The entire place reeks of large hospital atmosphere. Obviously it's not the size of a hospital but reminds me of one. You get greeted into a large waiting room with lots of other people just waiting to be herded in like cattle with your ticket in hand(your insurance card). The entire practice is just way too bloated. They have you systemically moved from room to room, undress, xray and then you finally get to see the doctor who obviously just very little time looking at your issue. When you first talk to the doctor it seems as if he has already looked over 100 people and your just another person. I actually get more attention to detail from my barber. Premiere Orthopaedic feels like the supercuts of practices. I'm not suggesting they are completely incompetent but out of multiple visits I am confident they are terrible at explaining in detail what their diagnosis is. Meaning the first time I visited them the doctor had a story about how they couldn't print the xrays so I had no visual aide for what the doctor was telling me. A few years later I went for another issue and yet again no visual aides. If your going to tell me you see a small labral tear then show me in detail exactly what it is. Don't make me have to use google in order to ask you if its a SLAP tear or bankart tear. Be a professional and show me the xrays. If I gave presentations like that at work to my clients id be out of a job. Not to mention they weren't sure the cause on either of my two issues even after having an MRI for my shoulder. BTW Premiere uses their own facility for the MRI and it was a complete nightmare as I never had an MRI before and the women told me she would play music to drown out the MRI noise(which sounds like a jack hammer). A couple minutes into the MRI I hit the panic button to stop it and I asked her where the heck was the music to drown out the MRI noise. She said it was broken even though she just told me their would be music playing a few mins before. I then told her "give me ear plugs!" which she knew she had on her and didn't offer them to me to begin with. Think about this....her entire job is to administer these MRI scans and she could even remember that the sound for the MRI machine was broke or to offer the patient the option of having ear plugs in. I'm pretty sure a fry cook at McDonalds has better multitask skills. Personally I wouldn't recommend these guys but they are obviously on a lot of insurance plans and have a lot of offices so people tend to just go to them. I'd do your homework first on your options before going here. I'm not saying you shouldn't use this place but just be warned on some of their pitfalls. I just get the feeling top level pro athletes would not be coming here for issues. Seems like a common place for people with their companies insurance plan.
