Over the years, I have experienced the need for physical therapy more than I wish! Knee replacements, back issues, and shoulder issues have all required therapy for preventing surgeries and for post-op rehabilitation. This most recent stint started out for a shoulder problem but later included some rehab with a lower back problem. I have never experienced one on one therapy. It's a GAME CHANGER! Never, ever again will I go back a place that provides therapy on many patients and you are left alone to continue doing the exercises with minimal support and observation and sometimes time waiting for the next direction. A bright and cheery, new facility in Kennett Square, Action Potential is ONE on ONE. Yes! you have your own therapist for about 50 minutes. You are in and out. There is no doing anything incorrectly, so the chance of injury is zero! In my case, Alicia, was my therapist. She got to know me (and may I add my husband sees her, too, and thinks she is a miracle worker) and was able to deliver a very individualized program. The center utilizes an app that includes videos with directions and YOU as a model, doing the exercises. Alicia has a great personality, a good sense of humor, and is very encouraging and positive. The best day was when we didn't wear masks, and I could see her smiling face. However, I will add, all of the therapists are very respectful and will happily don a mask for patients who would prefer that degree of caution. Nate is at the helm at the front desk and coordinates appointments and insurance paperwork with ease. The owners are friendly and send text reminders for appointments. The whole center is run efficiently and is a very friendly and supportive environment for healing. I highly recommend Action Potential PT in Kennett Square. read more

Absolutely the place you should go if you are in need of some good therapists! I have done physical therapy at a number of places in the area and this place is by far the best. I had been dealing with pain for well over a year and had tried another physical therapist prior to finding Action Potential. I had started to become concerned that I may not be able to get out of pain but through working with Megan and Kristen I was able to get relief. All of the staff is extremely friendly and I love that the therapists work with you directly the entire time. If I'm ever in need of PT in the future you can bet this is the place I'm going to. read more

I went to Action Potential Physical Therapy for chronic TMJ pain. Kristen was my therapist and she was absolutely awesome! She guided me on exercises to increase my jaw mobility and I no longer suffer from chronic headaches that came from my TMJ issues. Kristen also provided me a home exercise program for general conditioning and core stability. I found the one on one treatment to be so helpful and she was able to closely monitor my progress. I had given up on physical therapy - and then I went to Action Potential. OMG - the one-on-one, hands on approach, seeing the same therapist for each session was something I have never experienced. Kristen worked with me the whole time, helped me to not only "find" my core but learn how to "engage" my core. The at-home program she developed for me was exceptional. I cant say enough about Megan at APPT. I went from a recommendation from my gynecologist for pelvic floor work and painful sexual intercourse. Yes hard to acknowledge but as a 55 year old woman post menopausal these are the realities of life. No one really tells you what to expect during those times. Action Potential was an amazing help and incredible knowledgeable. I was dealing with a shoulder injury from weight lifting. When I arrived my shoulder had little to no movement. I was having pain following surgery that interfered with my daily activities and sleep. After only a few PT sessions with Casey and Kristen my pain decreased significantly and a few weeks later it is gone! My primary therapist, Casey, is excellent at explaining why I was having pain and how the treatment would work.
