After a handful of visits I can now say this place is truly fantastic; please consider it for your…read moretattoo removal needs! Before I started going to Ink Revoke I had done around 8 sessions in another place in Louisiana. The place in Louisiana is a body alterations clinic that offers tattoo removal as a side service from its main menu of offerings while Ink Revoke is a highly specialized service for tattoo removal. Between that first place and Ink Revoke, I've experienced a striking difference in the quality of equipment, techniques, expertise, price point, and efficacy of treatment. I've only experienced the two places for tattoo removal but let me tell you, Ink Revoke has been better in *every* way such that I comment about my positive every time I visit for treatment and every time I talk about my tattoo removal with friends, coworkers, etc. I think experiencing the two different places has given me an understanding of great service versus subpar service in tattoo removal. With all that context being said, here's a break down of my experience with Ink Revoke.. Expertise and professionalism: Eyad Layla is both the business owner and laser technician at Ink Revoke. The whole operation and service seems to be run by this one guy. He's always kind, considerate, and professional in demeanor when I visit. He also really knows his stuff; I'm the kind of person who always has a lot of questions and intellectual curiosity, and I've found Eyad to have knowledgable and comprehendible answers when he enthusiastically receives my never-ending flow of questions about the laser device, techniques, training, aftercare, and so on. He's been able to walk me through all sorts of hyper-specifics in what he does, how he does it, and how all of that interacts with the ink and the body. I'm happy to be able to say that my experience with Eyad has been consistently impressive and positive in all respects. This may sound dramatic but Eyad makes the other technician I visited in Louisiana seem like an amateur in comparison. Equipment: Ink Revoke uses a laser device thats among the best tech you can find for this service. It was designed specifically for use in tattoo removal and includes a nifty cold-air hose for cooling the skin when using the laser, which really makes a difference! Also, the whole facility is tidy and clean. In contrast, the place in Louisiana had an old-looking laser device that's also used in things like hair removal, and it had no cooling hose. Technique and efficacy: Eyad leverages his thorough understanding of his craft to make sure my skin is being tended to carefully while also ensuring each visit/session is as effective as possible. He's displayed a skillful approach to calibrating the laser device and cooling hose in response to a large amount of variables such a persons skin type, the type of ink being targeted, and how faded the tattoo is thus far. This is a very important point in my praise of Ink Revoke. To illustrate that point consider this--I've gotten quicker and more effective results (i.e. more tattoo fading) in 4 visits with Ink Revoke than in the 8 with the clinic in Louisiana, AND every visit with Ink Revoke has hardly irritated or damaged my surface skin. In contrast, nearly EVERY visit with the Louisiana clinic would leave my skin blistered and needing to heal for the next 5 days. In Louisiana I really stopped seeing progress in fading after the 4th or 5th visit there, which shows a lack of knowledge and technique to create maximum efficacy of treatment. Price point: So to be blunt, I'm paying maybe 15% less per session at Ink Revoke for an astronomically better service. And Eyad offers various packages that decrease the price per session when you buy a bundle. Summary: I really didn't know how subpar the service was at that clinic in Louisiana until I experienced Ink Revoke. I was bit shocked to have found a service thats soooo much better and for less dollars. Please save yourself from the same kind of mistakes I made and do a consultation with Ink Revoke. I'm confident you'll be as impressed as I am after a session or two.

I would recommend LaserAway Boulder location as the place to learn about tattoo removal how and the process takes time and patience. I have three tattoos and have had five treatments on each one and I look forward to going to my appointments.

I genuinely wanted to love this location because I've had good experiences with LaserAway in the…read morepast, but unfortunately the Boulder location has been nothing but frustrating. Over the course of my treatments this year, this location has canceled and rescheduled my appointments THREE separate times. I live over an hour away (about an hour and fifteen minutes), so these aren't quick trips for me. Every appointment means planning my work schedule, arranging my day, and driving a significant distance. This latest experience was by far the worst. I was already on my way to my appointment and was only about 10 minutes away when I received a text that my appointment had been canceled. The first explanation I was given was that there was a gas leak at the building. Naturally, I was concerned, so I called back to verify what was happening. During that phone call, I was then told something completely different and that the nurse hadn't come into work that day. I understand emergencies happen. Gas leaks happen. Employees call out sick. Life happens. What I don't appreciate is receiving two completely different explanations for why my appointment was canceled after I had already driven over an hour. At that point after being canceled on for the third time, I told the staff that I no longer wanted to be rescheduled at the Boulder location. I explained that I wasn't comfortable continuing my treatments there because I had lost confidence in the reliability of the location. I specifically asked that my appointments not be rescheduled. Imagine my surprise when I opened my LaserAway app and discovered they had scheduled me for another appointment the very next morning without my knowledge or consent. To make matters worse, LaserAway has a cancellation policy that can charge patients if they cancel within 24 hours. Since THEY created this appointment less than 24 hours in advance, I was suddenly worried that I'd somehow be responsible for a cancellation fee for an appointment I never agreed to in the first place. No customer should have to worry about being charged because a location scheduled them without their permission. The treatments themselves may be great, but customer service and respect for a client's time matter just as much. Especially when people are paying hundreds or even thousands of dollars for these services. Driving over two hours round trip multiple times only to have appointments canceled, receiving conflicting explanations and then being rescheduled without my consent is simply unacceptable. I sincerely hope LaserAway addresses how this location handles scheduling and communication because this experience has completely eroded my trust. I cannot recommend the Boulder location based on my experience.

When microdermabrasion started it felt really rough-it's been awhile since I had one and knew my skin may be sensitive. She did check in and I said lighter and it seemed slightly lighter but still felt like it was scratching my face. Than peel went on which felt intense, pretty normal with a double exfoliation but when she was removing peel she never really checked in on peel activity and than just put finishing product on. It still felt pretty stingy and I probably should've spoken up but just chalked it up to the nature of the service. When I got home I had to put a cold compress on for awhile and my skin looked like this... and than this morning. I'm writing this to be informative and to mention that I'm also an esthetician and know my skin should not be all scratched up post microderm. I gave 2 stars because the space is welcoming and I had a good experience chatting with the esthetician but this is really bumming me out. *Wanted to add that the owner was very attentive and already called me concerned about how to make the situation right. Really respect and appreciate that!
