Before I started going to Ink Revoke I had done around 8 sessions in another place in Louisiana. The place in Louisiana is a body alterations clinic that offers tattoo removal as a side service from its main menu of offerings while Ink Revoke is a highly specialized service for tattoo removal. Between that first place and Ink Revoke, I've experienced a striking difference in the quality of equipment, techniques, expertise, price point, and efficacy of treatment. I've only experienced the two places for tattoo removal but let me tell you, Ink Revoke has been better in *every* way such that I comment about my positive every time I visit for treatment and every time I talk about my tattoo removal with friends, coworkers, etc. I think experiencing the two different places has given me an understanding of great service versus subpar service in tattoo removal. With all that context being said, here's a break down of my experience with Ink Revoke.. Expertise and professionalism: Eyad Layla is both the business owner and laser technician at Ink Revoke. The whole operation and service seems to be run by this one guy. He's always kind, considerate, and professional in demeanor when I visit. He also really knows his stuff; I'm the kind of person who always has a lot of questions and intellectual curiosity, and I've found Eyad to have knowledgable and comprehendible answers when he enthusiastically receives my never-ending flow of questions about the laser device, techniques, training, aftercare, and so on. He's been able to walk me through all sorts of hyper-specifics in what he does, how he does it, and how all of that interacts with the ink and the body. I'm happy to be able to say that my experience with Eyad has been consistently impressive and positive in all respects. This may sound dramatic but Eyad makes the other technician I visited in Louisiana seem like an amateur in comparison. Equipment: Ink Revoke uses a laser device thats among the best tech you can find for this service. It was designed specifically for use in tattoo removal and includes a nifty cold-air hose for cooling the skin when using the laser, which really makes a difference! Also, the whole facility is tidy and clean. In contrast, the place in Louisiana had an old-looking laser device that's also used in things like hair removal, and it had no cooling hose. Technique and efficacy: Eyad leverages his thorough understanding of his craft to make sure my skin is being tended to carefully while also ensuring each visit/session is as effective as possible. He's displayed a skillful approach to calibrating the laser device and cooling hose in response to a large amount of variables such a persons skin type, the type of ink being targeted, and how faded the tattoo is thus far. This is a very important point in my praise of Ink Revoke. To illustrate that point consider this--I've gotten quicker and more effective results (i.e. more tattoo fading) in 4 visits with Ink Revoke than in the 8 with the clinic in Louisiana, AND every visit with Ink Revoke has hardly irritated or damaged my surface skin. In contrast, nearly EVERY visit with the Louisiana clinic would leave my skin blistered and needing to heal for the next 5 days. In Louisiana I really stopped seeing progress in fading after the 4th or 5th visit there, which shows a lack of knowledge and technique to create maximum efficacy of treatment. Price point: So to be blunt, I'm paying maybe 15% less per session at Ink Revoke for an astronomically better service. And Eyad offers various packages that decrease the price per session when you buy a bundle. Summary: I really didn't know how subpar the service was at that clinic in Louisiana until I experienced Ink Revoke. I was bit shocked to have found a service thats soooo much better and for less dollars. Please save yourself from the same kind of mistakes I made and do a consultation with Ink Revoke. I'm confident you'll be as impressed as I am after a session or two.

I then saw that Vasu had an RF device called ThermoClear which treats just about any superficial skin issue. Jennifer gave me a very thorough treatment, but I had low expectations considering all the YEARS of other ineffective treatments in the past. Well, I look in the mirror this morning (nine days past treatment) and, BY GOD, the treatment is actually working!!! All of the most visible capillaries are either gone or diminishing. I can't wait for my next appointment. I'm thinking a few more treatments will take YEARS off my skin. (Also, ThermoClear is about half the cost of your average laser treatment.) This is life-changing for me--more self confidence, WAY less makeup, more swimming and exercise, less time getting ready and, most importantly, no more wasted time and money on other useless treatments. Thank you, Vasu!!!

I am so happy I did this. All of those dang pesky parts I've "always meant to do laser hair removal on"? SORTED! What a nice check off my bucket list! I'm not someone who wants to walk around with a frozen face just because a spa wanted to upcharge me on units. Rachel is the opposite. She is meticulous and knows how to achieve a natural, youthful look that isn't frozen or over-corrected. I am actually getting compliments on how good I look (it's summer so everyone thinks it's. tan - but it's not! It's Rachel's beautiful work). I'll be 40 in September and I look smooth and flawless. Best part is when I smile, it's an actual smile and not frozen-Botox look. FWIW, I've been getting Botox and Dysport for about 13 years. I've done it all - the big city spas that charge an arm and a leg (I was in San Francisco for 10 years), plastic surgeons in Denver and also spas in Boulder. I actually go and interview people before I commit because I am not about to walk around with a frozen face for six months because I was over-injected. I want to get a feel for how they treat their customers and I've seen it all. Boulder is lucky to have Rachel. She is on par with the spas in metro cities, which are very competitive and only those who understand a natural look survive. Can't sing her enough praises. I had been wanting to try botox after hearing many good things about it from my coworkers, friends and family. My friend had recommended Youthbar to me as we had been talking about her migraines and our RBFs and how it's helped her. I called in I was met with one of the friendliest receptionists I have ever come across. She was patient with despite my many questions and talkative nature and when she couldn't answer my questions, she booked the free consultation for me where I could ask all the questions I wanted. My consultation was with Meadow. She was very friendly, answered all of my questions, and didn't push me on getting more done than I wanted. She made me feel so comfortable I ended up doing the procedure! It was quick, minimal pain, and I am so happy with the results! My take on all parts of this business is below. Procedures: Frown Lines - I have botox to correct my frown lines around my eyebrows. While the frown lines weren't terrible to begin with, this is a preventative measure to make sure they don't worsen over time. Pain is like a 2/10 for me and there were no scars. The effects started around day three. It was weird not being able to make my "mad" face anymore. Added benefits aside from how it looks are I'm not squinting at my computer screen, my headaches have been reduced to minimal pain or nothing, and I truly believe my mood has improved because of it. I genuinely feel happier since doing this. Lip Flip - My top lip would curl under leaving a line whenever I would smile. It has been something I've been very self conscious of and originally thought I wanted a lip filler to help correct it. Meadow gave me more information about the lip flip and we decided to try that to start out instead of the lip fillers. The pain was a little more than the forehead since there are more nerves in my upper lip but they kindly put numbing gel on before hand to reduce the discomfort. Minimal bleeding but the results ended up being better than I expected. The lip flip has softened my smile preventing my lip from coming up so high it make my lip curl and now it sits beautifully above my teeth and you can see the pink of my top lip! I'm extremely happy with it and it has improved my confidence to smile in my pictures again. Overall Experience was amazing. From the people who work here, the ease of booking appointments, and help people like me feel good about themselves, I am so glad I was recommended this place.
