They have a selection of coffee mugs, coffee beans, and tea available for purchase. They offer both food (savory and bakery) and drinks (coffee and smoothies). In decline since my last visit:…read more The breakfast sandwich was OK. The service was disappointing. My friend & I were surprised to find it practically empty on a Saturday afternoon; and even though it was empty, nobody stopped by our table like they had just done at another one. Also, they left our food on the counter for us to pick it up and we were never called or buzzed. It was clear to me that they just didn't care about our table. Not much of an atmosphere other than the train backdrops. The place could use some background music. It was so quiet that my friend & I felt that we needed to whisper so we didn't disturbe the other two tables. It's a shame. I used to like this unique coffee shop; and recommended it to others.

A little heavy on the foam maybe, but the coffee was really good. Had a couple of donuts which were very fresh and tasted great, too. The server was super nice and had the drinks out fast. The place is cute. Eclectic odds and ends are hanging around everywhere and the music was good. Liked it well enough to pick up a t-shirt too :-) Looking forward to our next visit!

There is a little free library and boardgames you can play while you enjoy your coffee or sandwich. They use Anodyne beans for their coffee and they make simple, fresh sandwiches. I went with the Trike - Deli style chicken, pepper jack cheese, with a spicy aioli chipotle sauce on a ciabatta bun. Simple and delicious. Service was good as well. There was plenty of seating but the floors and tables seemed to be dirty so I had to search around for a good seat. I felt bad for one customer that came in, no one came to help her and her and her daughter left. I just got a cortado because the menu was around $8 for a special drink. It took a while to receive but it was overall good. It was good to try a new place but I didn't stay that long.

This time we slated enough time to sit down and relax for a while before having to start the day. Everything from last year was still here - including the great food and service. My wife (g-free due to Celiac) tried their Mini Banana Bread Loaf and loved it - with no adverse reactions! Their specialty espresso drinks were again excellent (Blarney Stone Latte, and a Caramel Macchiato). ORIGINAL GOOGLE REVIEW from MARCH 2024: A very nice and uniquely decorated local coffee joint. Found them this year while in town appraising for the Destination Imagination Sectional Tournament. Needed to be on-site by 06:30 on a Saturday, so I appreciated that they were open early! Decided to come in vs the drive-through option. Nice decor that looks like a cross between a Flea Market and an Antique store. I appreciate places that don't try to look like "the other guys." Very warm and intriguing. A visual feast for those of us prone to adult A.D.D.! Had places allowing small groups to sit and enjoy if they wished. As a first-timer, I greatly appreciated the online ordering option, as we were just a tad behind schedule and coming in from Bluemound in Brookfield. Was easy to navigate their site on my phone. Arrived 10 minutes earlier than expected. Was easy to locate via GPS. Inside, the staff were exceptionally friendly. Had some conversation, my (delectable!) white mocha decaf, and was on my way before my original arrival time. A nice selection of coffee shop eats are available.

What I don't like so much is the fact that there is no foyer at the entrance. When the front door opens, and if you are seated nearby, you get a blast of cold air. Not sure what they can do about that, given the fact that they are part of a strip mall.

It was like people were battling on who could talk loudest. There is a basement but it felt a little dreary. The plain black coffee was decent and the banana chocolate chip muffin. The thing my colleague and I couldn't get over was the older building smell. I hate to give a bad review for a quaint place but please know I must be honest. If you're sensitive to older building smell you may not love this place. I even bought a cute coffee bean bag but got it home and my whole room smelled like the old building. I even washed it twice..sadly I threw it in the garbage as the smell of the building seemed to be saturated in the fabric. I will say the staff seemed nice, Maybe I'd go back if they had outside seating vs. in the building. The smell just overpowered my experience just too much...
