The food and service here is impeccable. The onion soup and braised short rib were amazing. The short rib was on the bone and melting off!

The dinner was good, but the atmosphere was the best thing. I would rate this place third on the list of places I ate during my 5 day trip in CDMX. For an appetizer I got a cheese plate. There were four cheese provided as well as some fruit. The serving of cheese was large, a bit much for an appetizer for just two people. For dinner I got the fish of the day. The waiter spoke good enough English to clearly explain the dish when I asked about it. The fish was served with a jalapeño sauce and rice. It was cooked perfectly. We got a sidewalk table. Even though the restaurant was busy we got a four top table so we could both sit facing the street. The staff did not rush me and I enjoyed a leisurely evening on this patio.

Gorgeous tables with view of the park across the street

Great atmosphere right by the park - secure and outside table and take a little leisure in your day. There's a handful of French inspired egg dishes on the menu, as well as Mexican staples. Eggs Napoleon were particularly good. Decor is French bistro. I believe there's an upstairs we didn't see, but the tables outside across the park are delightful. There's also a small cafe/bar area for when things get crowded or you just want a quicker bite. On a separate note.. Honestly feels like half the reviews are fake: someone calling this a "nice American place" when it's actually Mexican/French, another person complaining of the small menu when the menu is actually a full, small font page (perhaps they just saw the bar/cafe menu?).

The service is absolutely terrible! Do not come here! Go elsewhere. Tons of other places nearby that we discovered after we left. It took about 45 min to get someone to look our direction to get our food order in. My friends coffees came, and my water never came. Waited another eternity for the food to arrive. My friend's eggs Benedict has EGG SHELLS in it! My pastrami sandwich was less than mediocre and the meat was slimy and my salad has so much salt on it, I finished the little water I had left from my hotel. Ambiance was great though...that's about it.

Mussels & Escargot

Came here for lunch on a Saturday with my kids. This place is a cute little French restaurant located across from a park. We sat right next to a open window overlooking the park. It was a nice romantic experience. We ordered Escargot & Mussels for appetizers they were delicious. For lunch we ordered the Burger and the brisket it was ok nothing out of this world. Not many food options for kids except for only pasta. Overall this cute little restaurant located in Polanco I would recommend anyone to at least come here once and experience the food for yourself.

Beautiful setting!!!!!

Extremely romantic and quiet restaurant, at least the upstairs was! Downstairs was packed with lots of people enjoying their food and drinks and smoking! The food was delicious. Crab cakes were just the right amount of food. The steak and fries were a solid order for my husband. Cheese plate was delicious!!!! The decor was beautiful!!! Lovely French food in the middle of Mexico City!!!

Cool spot and good service. Cheese plate was all aged or washed and very one note and bread pairing was just okay.

When my mom visited, I wanted her to see Lincoln Park, since I believe it's one of the prettiest areas of the city.

Also the enfrijoladas (like enchiladas covered in a black bean purée sauce). Everything was amazing! We also tried many bakery items from the beautiful display and our favorite was the guava and cheese croissant. Have you ever had the refugiado (guava and cheese strudel) from Porto's in Los Angeles? Yeah, it's like that but next level. Great coffee drinks and lattes too. Truly a fantastic spot!

The place has mainly outside seating, and we were fortunately able to get a table without waiting. I ordered a cafe americano and water, while the girlfriend ordered some juice. After perusing the menu, I opted for enchiladas in red sauce. The girlfriend got scrambled eggs. The enchiladas came in a small bowl, dipped in red sauce, with avocado, bacon, and topped with salsa and sour cream. The enchiladas were not as tasty as I hoped, they were rather bland. The coffee was ok, but not too potent. The ambiance is relaxed. Mainly Polanco locals come here, no bad vibes. The customer service was ok. They just need to add more taste to their food, and they will do better.

A group of us went one evening, I secured a table, and to be honest, I lowered my expectaitons. Boy, I was wrong- it was just as good as the original in Paris! We arrived and we greeted by a happy host, brought to our table. The restaurant made me feel like we were in Paris, the same decor and the staff in the same style outfits. We sat and ordered waters and a wine list. We ordered a bottle of wine and agreed to have the Steak Frites, of course. They brought the wine which was delectable, and then the food came- first a salad, and then the steak, the fries, the gravy! SO good, so perfect, for a couple of hours we were tranported from Mexico City to Paris, everything perfect. If you want a taste of Paris while in CDMX, this is a great choice!

We also found surprising the amazing amount of Desserts they had to choose from. From rich sorbets, to decadent chocolate ones to a sky high tower of strawberry and merange that was equal part of crisp and warm berry goodness. Much Gracias, L' Entrecote! We shall absolutely return.

One of my best meals in the city. Many thanks to talented young chef Diego Nino and Cesar Vazquez…read more Highly recommended by a local friend as his favorite restaurant in Mexico City, Nexo Wine Bitrot offers great wine selection (overseas and Mexican), very good modern cuisine (infused with Japanese elements, local ingredients, French elements), classy dining ambiance (high wooden tables, open kitchen, and big window walls), and very good service (both chefs came out to check on me and gave me a complimentary dessert). Reservation is relatively easy to make compared to other good fine dining restaurants in the city. Without hesitation, I choose the 5 course tasting menu (~770 peso). Complimentary fried chips with Mexican dipping sauce (savory sauce made with non-spicy chili): crispy chips and savory aromatic sauce. Then comes the first dish: crudo of the day, avocado with umeboshi, yuzukosho and garlic oil. Fresh and sweet fish, creamy avocado sauce and a refreshing note from umeboshi and yuzukosho, and lastly ends with aromatic note of garlic. Well done! Second dish is squid alla carbnonara. Excellent dish! Again fresh and sweet squid, nicely cooked so that the meat is tender. Rich bacon and creamy cheese adding the thickness in flavor and texture, and lastly a nice kick from black pepper. Artichoke heart with squash sauce and green mojo. Excellent. Very tender, meaty, and sweet artichoke with sweet squash sauce, and refreshing green mojo. Main dish: rib eye, truffled potato purée, and bok choy. excellent. The rib eye literally melts in my mouth! The truffled potato puree is very nicely done. Overall love the well balanced profile and the amzing fatty rib eye. Desert-- dry strawberry and cereals on top of almond ice cream (?) not overwhelmingly sweet. love the fine and creamy texture of the ice cream. And the wonderful meal didn't end! Chef came out to greet me and gave me a complimentary dessert--last comes the best--passion fruit tart decorated with beautiful flowers. Very very delicious. Not overly sweet or sour, it captures the refreshing taste of passionfruit. This dish, with bright colors, passionate flavor, and beautiful presentation, is a perfect one to end my day after visiting Frida's museum. Overall, highly recommend!
