I hired Alpine Fence & Deck last month to perform a full recondition of my two redwood decks here…read morebehind my home in Sandy. The former owner of Alpine Fence & Deck had just apparently sold the business to the new owner, Chandler, and they kept the price fixed from their August 2022 quote. This was for the usual inspection, pressure washing, sanding, rotten wood replacement, correction & reinforcement of loose wood and railing, a final sanding, and then full staining (using Sherwin-Williams "SuperDeck" semi-transparent deck stain) of the top surfaces AND all underside surfaces (which had never been stained before.) I wanted the underside done this time to properly seal off all the wood surfaces, and yes it cost me more money, but I'll never have to futz with it again. My wife and I picked a rich dark charcoal color instead of the usual redwood color. This dark color uses blue, magenta, and deep gold tints to get this darker hue which - after it was applied - we were very happy with. Alpine Fence & Deck provided all of the stain as part of the quote...and left us with a full unopened gallon for our use. Chandler and his assistant Eliza spent a number of days working the deck in the cooler temps of June and overall we are happy with the effort. Chandler asked me multiple times to check his work and bring to his attention anything he missed or I wanted to be changed. Chandler fixed multiple floorboards and the one wobbly railing, and it all turned out OK. I think the extra effort on the underside paid off but was additional labor that kinda' beat up Chandler and Eliza as no doubt it was exhausting work. Suffice it to say the underside should have been sprayed instead of rolled/brushed as there are visible gaps in the stain that I will ask Chandler to address once this post goes live here on Yelp and Google. I would recommend Alpine Fence and Deck and always suggest that the consumer get everything in writing (like I did with Chandler's electronic quotes) and confirm that Chandler and his team will revisit us next spring and perform some post-winter touch-ups at no cost to us. Four Stars for a good job overall. Thanks!

I couldn't be more impressed with the work Jason at TITAN FORGE did on my 2024 Toyota RAV4 Prime…read moreXSE! From start to finish, his service, craftsmanship, and attention to detail were absolutely world-class. Jason expertly installed a heavy-duty steel bull bar bumper over the bumper of my vehicle, and the quality is beyond anything I expected. The bull bar I ordered came with incorrect mounting brackets that would not allow the bumper to be properly mounted under the car. Had I not found Jason at Titan Forge, I would have taken a $600+ loss on ordering this bull bar. But after telling Jason my situation, he properly assessed and quoted me a great price on building custom mounting brackets that would be strong enough to support the load of the bull bar. In addition to this, halfway through mounting the bull bar, he realized there would need to be some precision cuts around the edges of the bull bar bumper to fit my specific model. He made the cuts, and you literally cannot tell the difference or notice where those cuts were made. He rounded out and powder-coated every edge so that it looks immaculately clean. It's clear he brings a rare level of expertise and pride to his work. Every weld is clean and precise, the fitment is flawless, and the finished product looks like it came straight from the factory -- only better. Jason even went the extra mile to find a powder coater nearby to have it match the bull bar perfectly as if it were the OEM part. What really blew me away was not just the incredible quality, but the time, dedication, and care Jason put into the entire process. He took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for, offered helpful suggestions, and delivered results that far exceeded my expectations -- all at a price that was more than fair. If you're looking for high-end, flawless custom metalwork or fabrication in Utah, TITAN FORGE is the place to go. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my vehicle. Thank you again, Jason -- you've earned a lifelong customer!

Their website is very good and allowed me to upload my designs and easily specify where I needed holes tapped. Any warnings or blockers were well communicated and this allowed me to get exactly what I needed. Parts arrived quickly and were cut and bent exactly as specified. One of the two brackets I received had minor rough edges (which I didn't pay for deburring) and the other was perfect. Here is where I must note that I only ordered one of these. They sent me two. And this is a theme. I ordered 1x of another part, which also came out perfect, and got 3x. 6x of the final part I ordered and I got 7x. Keep in mind these were all small parts, but OSH Cut did NOT need to send me extras. If it's part of their process to cut extras in case something goes wrong, they could have easily recycled the extras and pocketed the scrap cost. But no, they sent them to me. If I ever need them, I have them. For free. I am also very happy that my designs turned out perfectly the first time, but had they not, that wouldn't have been on OSH Cut. They followed the designs to a tee. So yeah, I'm very happy and I will not hesitate to work with OSH Cut again should I need metal parts fabricated. I highly recommend them!
