Iveta is small family-owned restaurant, bakery, and coffee shop. I've been several times with mostly positive experiences. Turkey & havarti: generous amount of turkey. Wish mustard was an option vs Mayo. I've got it on sourdough instead of the multigrain. Chicken pesto: the red pepper and pesto are a nice flavor. I'm mixed on the ciabatta bread. Roast beef: my fav sandwich here. Muffaletta: only saw this once as a special. Was delicious even if a bit rich. Would get it again - if I could. The coffee drinks are solid if not spectacular. Ivéta has the BEST scones. 5 star scones. So moist. Yet crumbly. How do they do it? Their other food is good too. Coffee is also good. Portions are small. This space is surprising because it's in a mostly industrial area, but they actually have a rather pleasant outdoor patio. (And indoor tables too). I think the lack of 5th star really is the price. The cafe is hard to spot off Delaware, but the directions were accurate and there were several available parking places. The cafe has indoor and outdoor seating, which seemed clean and well cared for. Music was playing at a comfortable volume and the layout seemed well thought out, with a long bar and sets of tables for two people to sit comfortably. They have decaf expresso, but not a large range of decaf options, and a selection of baked goods. Food arrived in good time and ordering was easy. Water was available to self collect and the cups were clean. The food was decent, but unremarkable. The chipotle burrito is cheese, eggs, and pan fried potato. The breakfast burrito is egg, spinach, and some tomato, like an omelette in burrito form. Despite being a perfectly decent cafe, it's location means it's up against some tough comparisons from Verve, Cat and Cloud, and 11th Hour. I think the food and drink of Cat and Cloud are superior, but I would consider Iveta for the atmosphere, as I found the seating and music volume more comfortable. read more

Their coffee is the best too and is made with an extra kick for those slow morning. I love the take home scone mix as well, tastes just like in store and even better when they're fresh out the oven. This place is a real hidden gem. Fresh home made delicatessen with fresh pastries and home made soups. I ordered a ham and cheese sandwich with a cup of white bean soup. The fresh ciabatta bread was soft and tasty. The soup was an awesome recipe. My co worker had a tuna melt and ate every crumb. He also had a slice of lemon sqaure. He said was too good. Went back today lot lunch as I'm working in the area and had a turkey and havarti cheese sandwhich and a bowl of posole. Yes posole. It was loaded with chicken and hominy and seasoned well. I plan to have lunch there tomorrow and will add a pic this review. The inside has ample seating as well as an upstairs eatery area. There is plenty of outside dining too. The staff of young ladies seemed happy in their positions and all had smiles and greeted everyone when they walked in. The food was prepared and served in a relatively quick manner. There are breakfast options available that I imagine are on the same great level as their lunches. The offices nearby are so lucky to have this fantastic place at their fingertips. TL:DR - Surprisingly good sandwiches. Chicken pesto sandwich was perfect with juicy chicken, flavorful pesto, and soft cibatta. Tuna melt had great balance of tuna and cheese/sauce, and I swear it tasted like crab, but I'm ok with that. Super friendly service. Great outdoor seating but limited sun coverage if that matters. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Came in here based on a recommendation from a friend. It is a bit hard to find as it's tucked away in the back of an office park it seems. But came here to kill some time with a sleeping baby. The partner and got the chicken pesto and the tuna melt, both were shockingly good. The chicken pesto was amazing and had a perfectly soft ciabatta bun, which can run super dry at a lot of other places. But this was spongy and soft. The pesto had the perfect amount of basil, garlic, and nutty flavor that complimented the chicken well. I'm used to other places saying "Pesto" and the only thing it adds to the sandwich flavorwise is olive oil, this isn't that. Chicken was also soft and juicy. Perfect sando. My wife got the tuna melt and that also was amazingly good. The tuna melt was really light with thin slices of sourdough and a good balance of tuna and cheese/sauce. Sometimes tuna melts just turn into a cheese/sauce fest with some tuna in it. The giardiniera peppers also really cut through the cheese to brighten things up as well. The one thing that kept throwing me for a look was that I swear the sandwich tasted like shredded lump crab. Like it tasted almost exactly like a crab cake. I'm not mad about it, but I would be lots of money it was crab. I didn't get any pastries, but o man did they sound tempting. The service staff was also super friendly in a genuine way, didn't seem fake and didn't seem put on. Super nice and helpful. The outdoor patio seating is plentiful, but sun coverage is quite limited in the middle of the day. There was a so so amount of indoor seating, but I think there maaaay be additional seating upstairs, but not sure. The only other odd thing is the bathroom is through the kitchen and their warehouse. The sandwiches, salad and soup were all good but our roast beef sandwich did not include the provolone cheese it was supposed to have. Major disappointment since we took our order to go. This is a nice spot with both indoor seating and outdoor seating. In general the place was clean and there was a line at the counter. They actually serve alcohol (sangria and local wine). As others mentioned, this is a family owned local business. The food was OK, nothing great but I thought it kind of lacked flavor. I got the breakfast burrito which was kind of flat. Same with drinks although they do have a variety of smoothies and options for vegans and vegetarians. My biggest problem with this place was with their service. First, they are way overpriced for the food and service they provide. On top of that, after you pay at the counter you get an option to tip them with the lowest option at 18%. So, you buy your food at the counter, then when your number is called, you get your food and then after you are done eating, you are required to bus your table and take your empty food trays and cups etc to the trash. So there is really no service . So with grossly overpriced food, and no service why exactly am I tipping them.,that too before you actually get your food!! Now to add insult to the injury, when I went to ask the lady at the counter what happened to my drink, she claimed I must have already taken my drink!!. And she stuck with that claim until another girl working there showed her where we were sitting and then the lady apologized but seriously!! I found this place on Yelp and decided to stop by for a quick bite to eat before heading to the beach. We ordered the Lox Toast, Spicy Biscuit Sandwich, Scrambled Egg Sandwich with Bacon, Strawberry lemonade and a Salted Caramel Latte. Pros: -Lox Toast & Sandwiches we're delicious (clean and simple ingredients always taste amazing together) -Staff was friendly -Lots of outdoor seating Cons: -The service was pretty slow (waited over 25 minutes for our toast/sandwiches) and I saw a lot of staff just standing there sipping their coffee drinks and on their phones while they were working. -The strawberry lemonade tasted like plain ice water with barely a squeeze of lemon which was basically from the sliced chunks of lemons in the drink. There was a light pink tinge from whatever strawberry purée they may have put in there but you could not taste the strawberry or any sweetness at all. -The Salted Caramel Latte did not have any sweetness either and had only a salty taste. Okay so this doesn't happen to me very often, where you bite into your food and let out a "mmmmm" sound. That happened to me here at Cafe Iveta after tasting my caprese sandwich. I also ordered their soup of the day, which came with a savory scone. I shared my meal with my husband, we didn't leave a crumb. Everything is fresh and cooked locally, can't say I've had a meal this good in a very long time. I wasn't impressed with my lavender lemonade. It tasted pretty much like a plain lemonade, no trace of lavender. Same for my husbands coffee drink. He ordered a vanilla latte, it tasted more like coffee. We will go back here, just hold off on ordering their drinks. Hands down it's all about their food. Located near Natural Bridges State Park, in a warehouse district. It's down the street from my favorite clothing company WVN. You can dine indoors, or outdoors. Bathrooms are located behind the brista counter, you take a hard right and walk all the way back and find them on your right. Yes it feels strange to walk where all the magic happens, but I love warehouses, it's so cool. You won't be disappointed eating here, please do and spread the word. Love the scones from here! I've been buying their scone mixes for years and years to bake at home. It's so simple, they package the mix and the additional topping for you. You just need some heavy whipping cream to mix in and put on a sheet pan. For me it's like a upgrade from Betty Crocker boxes at grocery stores. The scones are so light and fluffy when they come out! There are tons of flavors like cherry, chili, and my personal favorite is always the apricot. It's a bit pricey per batch but I'm very loyal to this brand because it's good quality every time and it's easy. They recently changed their packaging so they might be rebranding a bit after 5+ years of the same stuff. The cafe is small but spacious enough to come for a coffee chat and staff are very friendly. They have a little store area to buy baking tools, books, and the mixes to take home right when you walk in on your left. I recently bought their scone pan that's heavy like a cast iron and has little triangle molds to fit the scones into that are a petit size for tea time or a snack. Scone mixes are a must!! read more

Super expensive, bad quality, tiny portions. Their coffee drinks are as expensive I have seen. A small latte is around $5, plus tax and tip. However, they appear to use bulk ground espresso from a Lavazza machine, and the weak taste of the coffee reflects this. We ordered the $9 avocado toast, which we expected to come with eggs---however, after receiving our order and re-reading, we realized our mistake. Instead, we received a single slice of unevenly-toasted white bread, with half of a browning avocado spread over it. This was topped with a few onion slices, a chopped tomato, and some pepper. I still cannot believe that I paid $9, plus tax and tip, for this. I would recommend this place to anyone excited to pay $22 for a slice of bread, half an avocado, and two weak coffees. I love to treat myself to the breakfast tacos occasionally. They come two to an order and are filled with eggs, avocado, bell peppers, cheese, and bacon. For lunch I love their hummus sandwich and soup, which changes daily. The produce used here is of good quality, and everything always tastes fresh. Try the scones and other baked goods. Also buy a box of the scone mix to take home with you! The lavender and white chocolate scone mix is delicious and also a great gift for someone who likes to bake.
