NO! But I have been known to go to the target that's in the shopping center after dark, because they have a decoy cop car outside, which makes me feel safe enough!

You could walk it in good weather, about in about 15 minutes. Tanger has your typical outlet stores and a few snack options. The value of the items is pretty decent especially if there is a sale. Still measures up to the previous 4 star rating: a nice outlet with typical stores that should meet your shopping fix.

Whether I'm making a planned trip or just stopping by on a whim, I always enjoy browsing the stores. Some days I have better luck than others, but that's just the nature of shopping--sometimes you find exactly what you're looking for, and sometimes you don't! Most of the stores I shop at are clean, and the staff is generally friendly and helpful. The outdoor areas are always well-kept and have plenty of seating for people to relax. The bathrooms are also fairly clean, which is always a plus. One place I'm not a huge fan of is the Starbucks. One of the cashiers can be a little unfriendly and rude toward customers. The first time I interacted with him, I thought maybe he was just having a bad day or was tired. However, after having another interaction with him and witnessing how he spoke to another customer before me, I realized that maybe it's just his personality. ‍ Overall, I really like this outlet center. The stores typically have great sales throughout the year, and there's a nice variety of options for everyone--it just depends on what you're looking for. They have a lot of shoe stores, but they are not packin' heat in there. A lot of clothin' stores as well. Typically what some would call "hood gear". The only major retail store is the JCPenny and Rue21. It also has a Target connected to it. I mostly ever come here for the Target. Most of the clothin' store workers are women, and they are always nice. A little too flirtatious just to make a sale. Which isn't all that bad because most are gorgeous. But yeah 2/3 out of 5.

I can say without a doubt it's better than waldorf in terms of variety, organization and quality. I ALWAYS find some cute stuff The handbag area is always stocked. Home goods (towels, sheets) is okay, it's small. The home ware (glasses, dishes) always has little treasures. Do not come here for curtains or rods, they never have any.....very little to choose. The women's knits and tops are on fire. They have some good brand represented, but you will need to be patient and dig through. Women's shoes are plentiful. Good selection of bra for small cup sizes, nothing for bigger cups tho. They have a huge juniors sections. Men's section isn't bad with a good selection of shoes and sizes. I would say my biggest complaints have been the cashiers and customers. The lines can be out of this world long and the cashiers always seem frustrated. They aren't very friendly, but I can live with that. The customers are some of the rudest I have ever come across, especially in the dress section. They will literally rip a dress from your hand if they like it. At least on two occasions, ladies have grabbed something of mine's right in my face. We kinda just laughed it off, but they are super aggressive in this section. This location is worth a quick drive by. I always find close parking. Do not attempt to come to this location too close to closing, that security officer mention earlier will not let you in.......and he does it with a smirk. The restroom is absolutely filthy. Don't use it, stop by the library or Staples. I warned ya.

I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was beyond unacceptable…read more I visited the Oxon Hill, MD location on a Saturday morning and waited in line for over 2.5 hours--along with approximately 50-60 other customers--while only ONE employee was operating the entire store and register. We were told that multiple staff members called out, leaving a single manager ("One") to handle everything alone. While I empathize with the employee, this reflects a serious failure in management and corporate planning by Ross Stores. There was no backup support, no urgency to resolve the situation, and no communication to customers about how it would be addressed. A 2.5-hour wait to check out is not just inconvenient--it's unreasonable and raises concerns about customer safety, store security, and employee conditions. One customer was elderly utilizing assisted walking device. They didn't announce cashier shortages until 2 hours into our waiting in line. If the items that I was picking up were not urgent, I would've walked out and many people did. This experience completely changed how I view this location. I strongly urge corporate to review staffing practices and implement contingency plans so customers are not subjected to this level of neglect. I hope this is taken seriously, as no customer should have to go through this.

The organizations that I now donate to are strictly geared towards helping true low income and less fortunate. The prices at the store are the prices that you would find in regular store AND intentional high priced stores. This store receives donations FOR FREE, AT NO COST TO THEM, AND YET THEIR PRICES ARE MERELY A DISHONEST RACKET. I think what happens is that I mindlessly walk through here as I use it as a passageway. I need to start paying attention to what is in here and keep note of it. Basically this is a mall. Like every mall just about everywhere, they are without some businesses. But, I will say this about the DMV area, even with some shops being empty, the malls still know how to draw people in. Even if it is just for the food options. This place has a ton of food options and some of the places in here are the only place in DC to find them, or at least a place where it is fairly easy to get to in order to visit the business. They got the run of the chains you would see in almost any food court. Charleys, Five Guys, Jamba Juice, Moe's, Panda Express, Starbucks, Subway, etc. But there are a lot of mom and pop stands mixed in. You can definitely find something for your lunch or a quick snack. This is one of the only places I have seen a Church's Chicken in the city. It can be a maze walking through here, especially if you arrive via Metro. But like I said, it is a great passageway to get yourself to areas without having to be outside. With the Spy Museum on the one end it's a great place to spend a day in the city. The Wharf not too far either. There are a few shops throughout as well. Mostly open during daylight hours if you need to grab a thing or two. Everything from a post office to a convenience type store. If you are lucky enough to work nearby, I am sure this is busy around the lunchtime hour.
