During my cleaning, the dentist caused horrible pain to my teeth -- something I've never experienced before at any other office. That alone made me switch dentists. Even worse, my fiancée was in severe pain with her teeth, and the office would not see her for two weeks. They ignored how much pain she was in, and by the time they finally scheduled her, she ended up needing an emergency root canal on the spot. A month later, she experienced another awful toothache, and instead of seeing her, they just wanted to give her pain medication and delay treatment again. They didn't return her calls promptly, and when they finally did, they still scheduled her days out. We nearly went to the emergency room, but thankfully we found a new dentist who took her in immediately. It turned out her filling had broken, her tooth was decaying, and the infection had spread into her gum, cheek, and almost up to her nose. SHE HAD A SECOND EMERGENCY ROOT CANAL!!! That pain should never have been ignored. No dentist should ever refuse to treat a patient in that much pain. This office was dismissive, unresponsive, and neglectful. Stay away from this place!!!!

Dr. Orlans is also very intelligent and invested in state-of-the-art equipment when he started High Bridge Dental. Dr. Orlan's staff is very friendly and when I walk into his office I feel like I am walking into a family home. It's a fun and friendly family environment. Over the years I have had Dental emeergencies and Dr. Orlans has always responded. He has seen me with notice of less than one hour and I greatly appreciate his dedication to the profession. My periodontal journey began with LANAP, then aligners for those bad boys, and finally a gum tunneling procedure that takes an incredible amount of skill to execute correctly. While gum tunneling is considered "minimally invasive," I don't think it should ever be taken lightly when it comes to WHO performs it. This is one of those procedures where experience, precision, and artistry matter tremendously, and this woman IS a surgical artist. I was pretty nervous the week leading up to surgery, having built this procedure up in my head as a huge and painful event. Instead, the entire experience felt like relaxing girl talk while the Queen of Dentistry worked her magic. Before I knew it, I was done. The craziest part? I walked out smiling, feeling amazing, and you genuinely couldn't even tell I had just undergone periodontal surgery. Yes...really. The recovery pain was surprisingly minimal considering what I had done. The realization of no longer having gums that felt like frickin' tissue paper and finally correcting my bizarre gingival defect has been eye-opening. You don't realize what your mouth has been missing until it's finally healthy again! The difference has TRULY been life-changing and I feel like my mommy makeover has been completed with exceptional results. My only complaint? The stitches weren't available in neon pink or glitter (tee hee, just kidding!) Wow--five stars all the way!…read more I had a painful infection flare-up right before leaving for Music Camp in Maine, and Dr. Cannilla's office came to my rescue. The friendly receptionists went above and beyond to squeeze me in for an X-ray and exam on short notice. The good doctor carefully cleaned out the problem, prescribed an antibiotic and a mouth rinse, and immediately gave me relief. Thanks to his skill and compassion, I can now relax and focus on practicing my saxophone scales instead of worrying about tooth pain! What really stood out was how attentive and caring everyone was--from the front desk to the exam chair. It reminded me that when I come in for a routine cleaning, if I have to wait a few extra minutes, I'll remember it's because someone else might be in pain, and that compassion is exactly what makes this office so special.
