So... I've been to a few dentist in my life. The last one charged me $150 for 'hygiene instruction'…read moreaka. 'Start flossing more, Dummy'.... then they tried to sell me an electric toothbrush for another $199. Needless to say, I had lost faith in dental care. My wife was going to a different dentist at the time. She would come home raving about how good he was and then some. It was almost to the point of suspicious... if you know what I mean. I decided I needed to go visit this guy to see what was up. That's when I found out dentists can be a) honest b) personable and c) really talented... all at the same time. My teeth are generally a mess. Dr. Liegner understands the priorities of the various cavities, cracks, etc... and works with you to fix them on a schedule that works for you and your insurance plan. One of my biggest fears is that I'll end up paying out of pocket for some extra costs. I believe that will never happen with Dr. L. Finally, there's his personality. There's no serious doctor's office vibe going on here. I actually look forward to my 6 month checkup to catch up with Dr. Leigner. If your in the Long Valley/Hackettstown area and you aren't 100% happy with your current dentist, give him a try, you won't regret it.

I have been going to Hunterdon Family Dentist in Lebanon for several years. I never need any dental work done except for regular cleanings. The Hygienist, Jennifer is excellent. Recently I needed a crown replaced and I was completely dreading the process. I am pleased to report that I had the Crown replaced by Dr. Zhu and she was extraordinary. Not only was she kind and sympathetic to my fear and anxiety, but more importantly she did a remarkable job of replacing the Crown with no pain. Dr. Zhu is a very skilled and talented Dentist. The Crown is made in her office and she custom fits it into place. The result is a crown that looks and feels like it has always been there. I could not be happier with the result or the experience. If I ever need any additional work done, I will not hesitate to have Dr. Zhu take care of me. Not only is she a gifted Dentist but she is also genuinely a lovely human being.

I then paid half and made a separate appointment. Six months later and they send me a bill for about $400! They never included the $219 payment I made, and they lied when they said my insurance would pay half. I have documentation to back all of this up. By the way, the special cleaning was just a regular dental cleaning - nothing special at all, and was very brief. Crooks. I'd be embarrassed to be associated with these scammers. How pathetic to spend your life ripping people off.
