Three members of my family have been to you. Myself, my 20 year old son and my wife who started her career as a dental assistant and knows a little something about dental work. You can point the finger back at the patient, their dental care and their previous dentist but I'm guessing most people would be interested to know that all 3 of us had work done by you that had to be redone within those 3 years. You call it unprofessional for the dentist to call out? I find it refreshing that a dentist wouldn't try to overlook work done by another dentist. Your description of how you handle your phobic patients and how things are great just wasn't my experience. I had a terrible experience with you, each of my visits I felt like you didn't listen and I was a pain. I was by the way as I noted in my original review, I just don't need to be made to feel that way. My last visit I asked for another shot to numb me and you huffed and puffed, gave me a shot and disappeared to treat someone else, leaving me sitting there. I found you to be not at all patient friendly, just my opinion. Initially, my first-time patient experience was to find a suitable and reliable dentist/dentistry practice that would actually listen to my concerns (the patient) as to my molar root exposure with severe nerve-related pains that lasted between January 2026 into February 2026. To my surprise, after receiving a first-time patient assessment and dental cleaning, a petite female dentist at this particular practice (did not catch her name) called me out, stating aloud in front of everyone, "You do not go around dentist shopping..." rather than acting professionally in the workforce, having any sort of empathy, actively listening to my concerns (as the patient), and understanding my severe level of pain behind tears. To my utter dismay and shock, I was beyond repulsed. Instead of arguing or talking back to show my frustrations from professional to professional - which I believe was not worth my time or efforts or energy to utter anything at all - I paid my copayment and left. They participate in a fake website that contains only positive reviews - it's called "consumer guide to dentistry" and hides any negative and potentially inflammatory experiences. I won't discuss the fraud here. What "services" they provided and what they charge for - both you and insurance - are 2 separate things. I get on average 9 pieces of mail from them a week. Dr. Rosenson and the staff are easily the best dentist office that I've dealt with. They are always very professional, accommodating and courteous. I appreciate that they always do their best to schedule me as soon as possible. The x-rays and cleanings are always quick and painless. I especially appreciate the thoroughness and gentleness. Dr. Rosenson has always been very personable and provides good dental advice. I have not been disappointed with any of the work I have had done. I will continue to be a patient at Hawthorne Dental Associates and recommend them to anybody who is looking for a dentist in the area.
