I'd never been to Brighter Dental before but it was extremely close to my house, the rates were reasonable, and the service was excellent. I was on a very limited budget and they went through the process of explaining what was most critical to get done asap and what was also really important but could wait. The office is also really nice, the people there are friendly, and they'll also answer all of your questions about what the codes on the bill are and all of the detailed dental questions while they're working on your teeth. I'm definitely going back there to get the rest of my dental work done probably later this year.

Before making this appointment, I confirmed with the office if they accepted my particular insurance plan, which they said they did. A few weeks after the exam, I received the bill for my co-payment which I gladly paid. It is now February 2018 and I just received a bill for the balance of the entire exam claiming that my insurance did not cover this visit. Had I known that the total cost of this routine eye exam would cost me $205, I would have gone to my other doctor who no longer uses my insurance, but charges far less than this amount. I'm planning to pay this bill in small increments, but I refuse to go back to them.

When my inurance was good in coverage they got all the money out of it and when they became out of network they never thought of informing and kept continuing. I have been from…read moredentist office to dentist office... and they all have failed me... from doing poor work..to offering plans to help me but instead, they made matters worse.. all the way to making me feel like I was a paycheck sitting in their chair - giving me a real negative feeling anytime I had to get work done. Until now... I had some major dental work that needed to be done. I went on many consultations. I heard all kinds of different ways these dentists were going to give me the best treatment and do what was best for me.. in the back of my head and the pit of my stomach they all just seems off.
