This store is hilarious. So many goodies and random knick knacks to see. Too bad it's just very expensive! $12-15 for some novelty candy items. I was glad to see Harry Potter chocolate wands and frogs. Don't see them that often in store! The also sell candy in bulk. I was searching for a gift for a friend that was interesting and fun. Found Bob Ross Mints! Gumby toys, 'Dingle Berries,' a candy pickle and more. They also had a lot of Pusheen toys and candy. I just wish it all wasn't so expensive or else I'd buy everything!

Okay okay! How much can you say about a candy store? So much because I love candy! Lol I'm literally a kid in a candy store. Yummmm! From nerds to Swedish fish to boxes of starbursts!! I mean come on?? So delicious. In all honesty, this store is a cavity waiting to happen but I love it. I had to dock a star because it's candy which appeals to kids and I found some of their risky items kind of inappropriate such as their candy g strings, colon blow and d*ck in a box. I was mortified for the parents to be honest. The women who welcomed us to the store was awesome and so sweet! All puns intended. They had such cute Valentine's Day goodies all set up and ready to go. I will definitely be back when my sweet tooth is calling!

Super Cute - Lots of Pusheen items and a wide selection of candies. They have retro items also. The employee was very friendly and helpful. For example, they had Fake Sushi (done with gel candy) for $9.95. LARGE lollipop was $19.95. Pusheen Stuffed animals were $29.95. I felt somethings were reasonably priced, others not so much, but that's probably more of a brand/licensing thing. The store is brightly lit, clean and colorful. Fun for a little window shopping or to pick up some candy. They had Jelly Belly bins, but they are not a "bin" candy store.

Man did they choose a great place to put this store! High school kids galore roaming Rio on a Friday and Saturday night! Pair that up with a sugar high from giant sized candy bars, and a dizzying array of candy - on top of their already giddy prepubescent teenage angst and you've got a match made in sugar heaven. They have everything pop culture from My Little Pony and Hello Kitty which appeals to my 6 yr old, to Ted bears and Duck Dynasty dolls, giant candy bars, edible underwear, candy body paint, and giant candy necklackes galore. I am NOT suggesting you bag a bag of candy and put it in your purse to take into the movie theatre....but I may or may not have done that myself. :p It's a fun little store to check out. If you are like me and can't commit to a single type of candy or flavor, opting instead to literally take one of everything, then this is the place to satisfy any sugar craving.

Omg talk about a big kid candy store! This place has everything I could dream of! Gummies, chocolates, taffy and cute Pusheen pillows! We came here one evening after walking around the lake. Loud poppy music at full volume and friendly staff. Candy is weighed and you pay by weight. That can get you into trouble! We spent $30 on candy lol! I had to stock up on gummies! I mean when buckets of all diff gummy candies are all together I need to! They had gummy LEGO bricks! Those were fun to try and build with. Also got some 3D pineapples and of course gummy bears! So many flavors of gummy bears and I think the frosted banana ones were my favorite. Just because they are unique and not your average flavor you get in the bags at the store. They have rock candy too and the fruit flavor tootsie rolls. I smacked my head after I saw the container of regular tootsie rolls because those are like crack for me! The store is clean and well laid out. I'd probably feel reassured knowing they go around and whip the tongs and candy bin lids too (not sure if they do or not) but just a suggestion if not.

The store is bright, colorful, cheerful and overall very inviting! The young gal working was extremely outgoing and friendly. She allowed my two year old to sample pretty much whatever she wanted. (Don't worry, I used tongs and did it all, no gross sticky fingers went into the bins!) I love the concept of this shop, but the prices are outrageous and I likely won't rerun because of that. We paid $24 for 1.3lb of candy and jelly beans. 1.3lb of sugar may seem like a lot, but it isn't really.

From giant boxes of nerds to foot-long gummi worms this place has it all! Well there's lots of sugary things for the kids, there's a surprising adult things. For example little chocolate with liquors, and edible candy Bras and edible candy G strings. That's sweet!

After entering, we received a warm welcome and began perusing the candies and treats. They were organized by time period and some interesting information was posted nearby and/or on the individual item. There were also gift sets. Some of the items were quite dusty and seemed as if they had been there for some time. A lot of the items were things that can be purchased in Cracker Barrel or in other old-timey candy stores elsewhere. They offer modern candy as well, but overall, I was underwhelmed. I was quite surprised to see historic candies so full of artificial dyes. That was an eye opener. I was kind of surprised at the signage throughout the store. The signs seemed basic when considered all the endorsements that the store has. Maybe the signs were made to look less modern. I didn't end up purchasing anything but was glad to visit.

The candy of old. Part museum and part sweet shop, they have displays showing the candies through the ages, from native American hickory bark to 1900 toys and food items behind glass. It was tough to limit our purchase as we saw so many "must have" items. In the end, we got our bill down to under $30 and just got four different things including some chocolate covered almonds for me (vacation food!) and both ginger and licorice for Mrs. K. Note that True Treats Candy is not handicapped accessible. The entrance is a somewhat steep set of stairs. They might have a rear entrance, probably just ask. It is my understanding they have been in business for almost four decades The elephants are on display in glass display cases in the back of the store. There is full sized animated elephant outside in front of the store. It provides a great photo opportunity for the little ones The store is chock full of candy, ranging from hard candy to chocolate covered raisins, peanuts and just about everything in between. The candy and chocolates are sold prepackaged and loose for added convenience, as well as offering candy dispensers. They offer nostalgic candies as well, such as candy sticks and candy buttons on paper strips. At the front counter, they also offer store made fudge and chocolates. The store is packed tight with all kinds of candies and novelties. The parking lot is small and can easily get full during busy times such as weekends and warmer weather. There are restrooms in the rear of the store. I definitely recommend this store especially for young families and those young at heart.
