I haven't been to a Bagel Factory in ages for some unknown reason…read more That day I had a lot time to spend while waiting for my car to get fixed around the corner. So I started with a chicken Caesar on a multiseed bagel and a cappuccino. The bagel might have been a bit too crisp / dry but still tasted like I remembered and liked them. Later I had a hot chocolate with marshmallows (surprisingly two big ones) and an americano and for lunch a chilly tuna melt again on a multiseed bagel - this time perfectly fine. In total I spend a good four hours here and loved the atmosphere. As it is a bit off the beaten track it's rather people from the surrounding offices coming in - a lot of them regulars that got greeted accordingly. The staff didn't mind at all me sitting there for so long and was very friendly to me and everyone else. But most of all I enjoyed how relaxed it was sitting there. So even if you're just sitting down for one bagel or sandwich - being surrounded by features of a Georgian house - even with mantelpiece - makes you feel like sitting in a living room.

Went there for Breakfast while staying in the Camden Court Hotel. I had the "all day eggworks" (~5…read more€) and a medium cafe Latte (which was rather large, ~3€). My gf had a breakfast bagel, which comes with a small coffee till noon (~5 €). They have two outside tables, so you can sit outside while you enjoy your breakfast. The bagels tasted good and fresh, the Coffee was also good and even the small one was large enough to get your motor running ;-) Overall a good alternative to the pricey hotel breakfast.

I do like my chilli tuna bagle from the Bagel Factory so when I had time before my next bus was due…read moreto bring me home and I was hungy I went there for my lunch. Friendly and quick as usual but the bagel itself was a bit flat in taste. But did the job. A not on the seating - which hasn't neccessarily to do with the Bagel Factory: There is a group of tables with thee in a row quite narrow beside eachother. When I arrive the ones at the outsides were all occupied so I had to go for a middle one. Which was very awkward with luggage and a tablet in my hands. I had to leave my tablet on someones table, get rid of my luggage and then grab my food. Definitely not ideal in a place where people are likely to have at least hand luggage if not even suitcases too.

Bagel Factory is an utterly contemptible choice if you are looking for an appetising bagel. There…read moreis no reason to purchase anything from this loathsome branch when there are whole conglomerates of eateries available within Dublin Airport. There is a delightful branch of Starbucks just above it on the first floor providing a tranquil place to chill with a coffee/ and or muffin/ and or sandwich if you have got time to kill before a flight. The mere existence of somewhere as revered as this branch of Starbucks located more or less next to it puts into perspective how ghastly the bagels offered up by this branch really are. They are saturated in grease and after eating one having come off a long flight and not knowing any better in a haze of tiredness, I actually felt nauseous. The 'Swiss Meatball Melt' consisted of desiccated meatballs that were falling to bits, sickly swiss cheese that left a very dodgy aftertaste and arrabiata sauce that wasn't so much mouth-watering tomato and chilli but wrinkled tomatoes minus any searing chilli to liven things up. I was left feeling wholly disgruntled and rather woozy. Of course places like McDonalds and Burger King serve food that is as high in saturated fat and equally as unhealthy but the food doesn't necessarily ostensibly communicate this. However the aesthetic unattractiveness and dripping oil from these bagels is stomach-turning. My advice is to embark on the very short journey up the escalator to indulge in something, not even (in the context of The Bagel Factory) more lavish but merely fit for human consumption would be all you ask.
