    The Magnum G.I. Glutenfree bagel
    Annie S.

Everybody knows those graving for a good Bagel and you think oh yea so many options about Dublin -well now consider being coecliac and pretty much all options are out of the possible...but no worries help is on the way... I just randomly walked in at Itsa the other day and thought well I could give it a try and could ask if they stock GF Bagel-did not have high hopes as usual but wait a minute-what was this super shiny and welcoming sign which made my face lighten up "Yes we do glutenfree bagels just ask the staff" So only a few more obstacles down the food allergy path which kept me from digging into my "Annie approved "Bagel! By double/ three time checking the ingredients of the sauces and taking things off or adding with the really friendly and patient staff "no sorry cant have this nor that, but this could work mhmm let me think is there mustard in the dressing???(3h later...) " After all we finally agreed that the Magnum G.I. Glutenfree bagel is the best option after changing it a bit to my needs ;) I had a cappuccino with it and my Bagel Breakfast was complete and I was happy and satisfied with a fresh and tasty GF Bagel which I was aching for a long time... So next time no running around town just straight to Itsa Bagel on Abbey streets and happy days ahead for me ;)

They have a vegan friendly menu! It actually tells you that the food is vegan. They have vegan friendly soup too, which is delicious! Very nice find near Dublin castle.

I haven't been to a Bagel Factory in ages for some unknown reason…read more That day I had a lot time to spend while waiting for my car to get fixed around the corner. So I started with a chicken Caesar on a multiseed bagel and a cappuccino. The bagel might have been a bit too crisp / dry but still tasted like I remembered and liked them. Later I had a hot chocolate with marshmallows (surprisingly two big ones) and an americano and for lunch a chilly tuna melt again on a multiseed bagel - this time perfectly fine. In total I spend a good four hours here and loved the atmosphere. As it is a bit off the beaten track it's rather people from the surrounding offices coming in - a lot of them regulars that got greeted accordingly. The staff didn't mind at all me sitting there for so long and was very friendly to me and everyone else. But most of all I enjoyed how relaxed it was sitting there. So even if you're just sitting down for one bagel or sandwich - being surrounded by features of a Georgian house - even with mantelpiece - makes you feel like sitting in a living room.

Went there for Breakfast while staying in the Camden Court Hotel. I had the "all day eggworks" (~5…read more€) and a medium cafe Latte (which was rather large, ~3€). My gf had a breakfast bagel, which comes with a small coffee till noon (~5 €). They have two outside tables, so you can sit outside while you enjoy your breakfast. The bagels tasted good and fresh, the Coffee was also good and even the small one was large enough to get your motor running ;-) Overall a good alternative to the pricey hotel breakfast.

Mary, you've hit the nail on the head. Bagel Factory really ought to know better if they're going…read moreto bang on about being an "American Original". There should be a better class of bagel, more ways to consume it, and they better watch those prices (says me). I've never turned down their Stars & Stripes on poppyseed (never really could pin down what about that is starry or stripey) and a cup of the watery coffee they insist on serving... just seems like the American thing to do. But wait, why settle? With alternatives like Itsa and Bagel Bar ready to take the bagel bravado from the Factory, I suggest they get wise to making these circles of carb heaven right!

I have a bit of a beef with the Bagel Factory. First of all, they only have 4 types of bagels…read more Second of all, you couldn't buy a bulk number of bagels, like 6 or a dozen or a container of cream cheese to take home. This is just standard bagel shop stuff! At first I was thinking oh well they haven't had bagels in Ireland for that long... but this place has been in business for 13 years. They should know by now the RULES of BAGELS. I'm from the States where a bagel place has like, 30 kinds of bagels and buying a bunch of bagels won't set you back an arm and a leg. I suppose I am spoiled and should stop being such a brat. Because Bagel Factory does make some pretty good sandwiches. They're filling and rather creative (one has bacon and guacamole on it, yum!) and priced alright. The shop only has a few stools at a counter and so it's more of a grab and go kind of place. The staff was friendly and quick.
