yeah lots of people rave about Seven Wonders and definitely it's a favourite place of people working in the IFSC for lunch. However it really doesn't appeal to me. I'll totally admit that their food is fresh and that they have innovative combinations, but I think there's something missing. I would say they need to include some more 'normal' combinations for their bagels etc, sometimes you do just want something a bit plainer. So while I'm not saying they do a bad job I think they could also do some more usual flavour combinations as I find them a bit too outside the box for my taste.

I first visited Seven Wonders for their coffee - which is pretty good - but now I've developed an insane passion for their smoothies. I like coming here mostly on the weekends and sit outside, sipping on one of their delicious beverages. As I was saying, the best things in this place, in my opinion, are the juices and smoothies, especially the latter. They come in three sizes: small, medium and large. The small one is a very decent portion and the large is enormous. They have a lot of different ingredient combinations so I just keep trying out a different one every time I go there. They're creamy, dense, foamy and icy. The texture is perfect. And then you have all the flavours. Fruits and nuts along with the sweetness of the milk or the slight sourness of the frozen yoghurt. I know a lot of places serve smoothies that are good or at the very least decent, but the ones at Seven Wonders are some of the best I've had, a completely different league. There's also the "healthy factor" about it: you can look up the nutritional information about each of their products on their website. And you can ask for "boosters" for an extra 50cents, like more protein. If there's one thing I don't like about Seven Wonders is the fact that they close up so early, especially during the weekend, though I know "early" is an extremely relative concept - 5pm for me is a perfect time in the afternoon for a snack. And by snack I mean a smoothie. Mmmmm... Pro-tip: they have a loyalty card for smoothies! Fill it up :D

Fresh, healthy salads, bagels, wraps and juices. I love the chicken and avocado salad, with generous ingredients including pecan nuts and dried cranberries. There's a really wide selection of fillings available for bagels and wraps, making lunchtime a little more interesting. This week I have been slowly making my way through the juice menu, which is seriously good value when you consider the peeling, chopping and washing-up involved in making your own! Sandwiches and salads are €5 or €6, and a small juice is €3.45

This place is an old reliable for me. When I first moved to IFSC area, I practically overdosed on bagels from here. Close on had to try them all (Pokemon style haha) They've a new spot opens up in the CHQ Building is bigger and swankier butbthis is closer sobthis is where I ended up today. Bagel are pretty insanely expensive for what they are and this place is no different but at least it's a good bagel you're getting, really fresh plus they're smoothies are delish too :)

I love this place. When I was a student I couldn't wait for the lunch break to run there for the goat cheese salad :-)

I don't always like breakfast bagels because I think they are chewy and hard to eat. The Buenos Dias bagel just changed my mind.

Since I don't eat red meat, I was very excited to see a vegetarian Irish breakfast option. I ordered this as well as a mocha latte. Despite the rain, my friend and I sat outside since all of the indoor seating was occupied. Thankfully some heaters provided warmth for what could've been a chilly breakfast. Very quickly the lattes came out which my friend and I sipped on. They were soooo cute, mine had the design of a little bear on top! The latte itself was hot and not too sweet, the perfect start to the experience. After a few short minutes, the food came out! Immediately, my friend and I dug in. It was honestly everything I expected and even more! There were no weak links on the plate and there were generous portions as well. I sat there for a while working my way through my delicious plate!! Overall, I was very happy with my experience at Beanhive. It was an aesthetic cafe that also provided a hearty breakfast. I would definitely recommend.

The first day we arrived to Dublin, I had a bit of a headache. I sent my husband in search of coffee and a bite in the hopes of warding off the headache. He brought back a tuna melt and mocha from The Bald Barista. Both were excellent. The tuna melt was herbaceous and flavorful and the mocha was the perfect blend or rich chocolate and strong espresso. So, a few days later when my mom arrived and was hoping for coffee and a bite, I said--I've got just the place! On that visit, we enjoyed our coffee and food in house. You order at the counter where you enter and if you're dining in, you simply take the stairs to the dining room and they'll bring you both your food and coffee. This time, I ordered the same coffee (why mess with a good thing) and a yogurt with everything (fruit, nuts, seeds--the works!). The shop itself is cute, warm, and inviting. The service is top notch with beautifully friendly folks working in here (including the Bald Barista himself). If you're in Dublin and are looking for an exemplary cuppa and some tasty bites served with a smile--this is your spot. Get to it!

They prepare and serve up coffee as a city better than any other city in the world. Sorry Seattle, Portland, its the truth. As a full fledge coffee nerd/snob I am looking for great coffee nothing more. Also if they don't roast their own beans and they are just serving someone else's coffee they will never get above a 3 star from me. I am looking strictly at the coffee and the customer service in my reviews. Accents was fantastic. When I walked in the Barista, a pretty little red headed Irish woman was doing some spectacular latte art on a Mocha, she smiled and asked me what I would like. I order just a regular Latte. They do not roast their own beans, but she was out of coffee in the grinder, she reached for a new sealed bag and I caught the name, McCabe's. I was unfamiliar so afterward I looked them up. here is the link if anyone is interested. (https://mccabecoffee.com) Local award winning Cork roaster. I watched the Barista, fill the grinder and then told me it would be a minute as she needed to dial in the espresso. I shook my head in a circle like I didn't get it but okay. She had it dialed in after 3 shots. looked like 18 in and 36 out. She was a pro, steamed my milk while the shot pulled in about 24 seconds. I ordered my drink to go but it was still presented with great art and a smile. Told me where the sugar and lids were but suggested I tried it before i added anything, that the espresso is very good. I tasted it and said, "You are right, needs nothing" and it didn't. BEST LATTE I HAVE HAD THIS TRIP TO DUBLIN. I am breaking my own rule here, I can because they are my rules, they don't roast but they use fantastic local Micro-roasted beans and prepare my drink to perfection. Don't miss this little gem the in Dublin. 5 Stars.
