Crystal, Kristy, and Danyall were absolutely fantastic. When they stepped through my door, I knew I was getting a quality clean. Crystal took charge by doing an initial walkthrough and then did a final walkthrough with me. She handled my kitchen/living room area, Kristy and Danyall did my bathrooms and bedroom areas, and I think they all combined to do a few areas as well. I am really impressed with how clean they got our kitchen and bathroom. Not that it was super dirty but ya know, showers get abused sometimes. **DISCLAIMER: Company did not clean my house** It's Maid Day came as a recommendation, so I went to their website & filled out the form indicating what I wanted to be cleaned. Online quoted me about $650+. A rep called to schedule a walkthrough to confirm what needed to be done "no biggie." Rep arrived on time & I showed her the house. She said things were better than implied on my form pointing out the bathrooms. She said this would decrease my quoted price from online. Fast forward to scheduling the actual cleaning & it was a month out. Also, the quote (even after my $50 Spring Cleaning coupon) was roughly the same $650+ price. Then a 20% deposit was required to hold the day. After no decrease as mentioned during my walkthrough, required 20% deposit & 4 wk wait I didn't book. Yesterday I got a call from a gentleman from My Maids Day telling me that based on my master bathroom, they could not clean my house & their business wouldn't be a good fit for our cleaning needs... What the what? It's been weeks since I talked to them. This was pretty funny because I used a different cleaning service already with raving reviews that charged me 1/2 the price to clean my entire house (master bathroom included). Scheduled my Spring Cleaning three weeks in advance including the on site inspection. Called to verify the arrival time 4 days prior to the scheduled date and Fernando had nothing on the calendar. He had obviously dropped the ball but blamed me for not following up. He scrambled to find a team to come that week. The five ladies that arrived had not been given the "extras" I had communicated the both Fernando and the Site Inspector....extras that were included in the $750 charge. The 7 hours I was promised turned into 3.5 hours and only half of the extras were done. I won't be using them again and hope others read this review and look for another service provider - unless you like 1/2 the work for 100% of the price. read more

The quality of the cleaning this company provides is subpar. They clean the visible areas while neglecting the other areas, such as on top of the microwave, etc. In addition, I had to remind one of the workers to clean the bathroom cabinets. The workers are rushed in to service the home and rushed out to move on to the next property. I do not recommend this company. The cleaners are friendly enough but the cleaning is only so so. On their last visit one of the girls did not wear her mask properly despite my asking her to bring the mask over her nose, several times. We are over 60 and felt her actions were irresponsible. 2 visits ago we had to cancel due to a visit to the emergency room (non covid related). Their response - let us know when you can reschedule. They did not ask how we were, did not even inquire whether it was covid related, they just wanted to reschedule, I am guessing because they are more concerned about money than their clients wellbeing. I emailed them telling them how I felt and, of course, never received a reply. I find their LACK OF COMPASSION and consideration of others overwhelming. read more

I had It's Maid a Day in for three cleaning. The first was their "spring clean". Overall acceptable but had to call them back to wipe off several places on baseboards that were supposed to be wet wiped. There were smudges on glass top table, dust on wooden kichen chairs, etc, etc. Overall a C. The next visit they fixed the first, vacuumed better and was a B. Last visit there was pieces of milk bones left on stairs, dust and grime on hall floor, hardwood floors spot cleaned only, smudges on glass, carpets did not look vacuumed. Using a portable battery operated vacuum because "it's easier" is not what I pay a cleaning service for. Lastly, the are very expensive. Even if I had no complaints they would cost too much. Finally, they are unresponsive to requests. Not sure who is answering phone but they don't call back. read more

I should have trusted the reviews from the start. 1 and 2 star reviews mean something people do not use this maid service. Incomplete work all the time. I was tolerable because the maids were gracious enough to go and redo a job before they left my home. In hindsight I should have fired them a long time ago- now realizing that missing tasks or incomplete work( urine under toilet seat and bowl, not vacuuming rugs in rooms that can't be missed, leaving product residue in kitchen sinks, forgetting to take trash out, not cleaning ceiling fans, not cleaning a half bath, leaving milk residue and food on kitchen floor that we're supposedly mopped) meant that they were incompetent and ineffective and did not pay attention to detail. After using this company for two years they attempted to fire me as a customer because they realized that they oversell their work, competency of their maids, and ability to complete what they promote and promise in their packages based on square footage with two maids. After receiving complaints from their maids that they are not being paid for working extra they tried to pass off the extra fee to the customer. What their maids failed to be honest about is that they consistently leave task undone like rinsing shower and leaving free of residue or hair, not leaving shower door streak-free scum free, vacuuming rooms, dusting, taking trash out, or cleaning specific rooms- when asked to come back when a cleaning ends to do those things ( which most have done without complaint) it extends the teams time by 20-25 maybe. The problem is if your maid teams are as highly skilled as you promote then these things would not be missed and therefore no extra time needed. The integrity of the company should now be questioned when they tell the customer it is the "condition of the home, LEGO's on the floor." Owner told me we're not a good fit. To translate means that we are not willing to give you the service that we promote because we are incompetent and our package looks food but honestly we lie about our packages and prices because we are trying to stay competitive and we really can't without overselling. If a company is providing biweekly and monthly service to a customer for over two years and you have not been able to "revive" the condition of the home then that means your maids are not effective and poorly trained. I am glad that as a customer I caught the game they were trying to play and stopped them before they did- Recap and a favor to the owner re-evaluate and recalculate your pricing for square footage and the task that you promise a two women team can complete. Reevaluate the wage you are paying your maids and pay them fairly or you will be out of business soon. Low ratings and ignorance can only go so faDo not oversell your service and try and pass the cost on to loyal customers, especially when the complete work is always less than spectacular. Do not use this company you will be sorry there are much better companies out there. read more

***Edit: My sister (Ashley P.) hired this company to come clean my home before she moved in this past month*** After spending $300 on what they call "spring cleaning" 4 maids came in for 3 hours and we had to call them back for another 1.5 hours because they didn't clean the backsplash in the kitchen, or wet wipe the cabinets, didn't move items on the counter, didn't touch the fireplace, and completely missed an entire bathroom! After noticing the back of the TV didn't get dusted, I was informed they are not permitted to dust electronics. If you want a company that is going to DEEP clean, getting into the corners and crevasses, this is NOT the company to hire. Yes, they have cleaned over 7,000 homes. I'm sure at some point they were a good cleaning company, but now it seems they are most concerned with increasing that number rather than providing the services their consumers pay for. read more
