"Unethical" I…read morerecently moved from the east coast to Colorado into the home of my fiance. Being unfamiliar with the home we came to learn there were 2 fuse boxes. The outlets in the play room weren't working and we needed assistance to fix them. In comes Genesis with a very nice salesman/electrician who out of the box is selling packages. Beware on this scam approach as an assessment has not even occurred yet and here we start by signing an agreement for $700. The long and short is, we discovered the second fuse panel and all the technician did was flip the switch and the outlets worked. Typically a company charges a fee to arrive and assess and NOT coerce $700 packages before knowing what we're dealing with. Lesson learned, but we'll think otherwise if electrical work is needed when a company after flipping a switch to freshen a fuse still charges you $700. a completely unethical and motive of GREED. Beware Parker Colorado friends and neighbors. BEWARE.

Louis left a quote with me before he left. Jason said he would email the quote to me the following day. After two days I called their office and was told that they were still waiting for pricing from their supplier before giving me a quote. After a week I didn't hear from Quynn Electric and had High Caliber Electric do the work. Louis replaced all the circuit breakers in my box, after 40 years they were starting to fail and not trip. He ran a new line into the living room and installed additional outlets. He also ran some new outlets in the garage. He also diagnosed a rather serious problem with the wiring in our living room where a neutral wire wasn't installed correctly and we had arcing issues. I was very pleased with his work ethic, professionalism, knowledge and friendliness. Any problems he found he took the time to show me and explain what he was doing to correct the problem. He also patiently answered any questions I had. I felt what he charged for his work was more than fair and reasonable for the time he invested. I highly recommend High Caliber Electric. They do honest, excellent work for a fair price.

Rick called me immediately and told me he was driving, so if I texted him my name and address, he'd get back to me in about 40 minutes with a quote. Sounds reasonable. So I texted him. And waited. And waited some more. After more than two hours of radio silence, I sent a simple "Hello?" Suddenly, Rick called me back sounding like I'd just sent him 47 texts, hired a private investigator, and filed a missing persons report. "Umm... I got your message. I'm going to have someone call you with a quote." Great. That's literally all you had to text me two hours earlier. Eventually someone called and quoted me $259 to install a thermostat. Not exactly a Yelp special, but fine. We scheduled the appointment for 10:00 a.m., and I rearranged my schedule to make it work. A few days later, Rick left me a voicemail asking if they could move my appointment to 9:00 a.m. instead. He specifically said to call or text him back. So I texted him back. Can you guess what happened next? If you guessed "absolutely nothing," congratulations, you've worked with R&A before. I explained that I couldn't do 9:00 because I had another appointment at 9:15 and had already moved things around for the original time. No response. Not a yes. Not a no. Not a "See you at 10." Not even a thumbs-up emoji. At this point, I wasn't sure if they were coming at 9:00, 10:00, or sometime during the next presidential administration. So I canceled. The funniest part? The second I canceled and pointed out that this was now the second communication failure, Rick magically responded almost immediately: "Okay. Sorry for the poor communication on our end." Amazing. The fastest response of our entire relationship happened after they lost the job. If their electricians communicate with each other the way they communicate with customers, I hope they don't work on anything that requires wires to connect.
