I had high hopes for It's About Thyme. When I met with the owner & put down a deposit for a future catering event he gave me some food to try & was extremely friendly & outgoing. The day of the catered event my father picked up the food. As I was setting up/re-heating stuff I noticed some missing food. I called the owner & he said that I had not ordered said items. I disagreed & he said, "Oh yeah...I just noticed a note...well, I don't have it so it's not going to be a deal breaker is it, buddy? You have a ton of food." As if the patronizing tone wasn't enough, there was not a ton of food. We had about 10 people less than I had been expecting & we ran out of ALL the apps, all sauces & dressings. The food was decent but I defintely feel taken advantage of. I've been in the catering industry for years & for the price I paid I was expecting about double the amount of food I got. For someone trying to start a new catering business he's going about it the wrong way. read more
