This is a great little local and Titirangi needs a small, relaxed bar that serves good food. We go there fairly often and will keep going back.
One quirk is that there is nearly always ingredients missing as described on the menu. Last time it was spinach from the main meal and dill for the cocktail. Such small things, but it happens to us every time.
I've had no fresh dill in that same cocktail twice.
Ask the wait staff before ordering food or cocktails if there is any ingredient unavailable. A blackboard menu might give flexibility when supplies are short, or wait staff could list the missing ingredients before people order.
Otherwise, the food is good, the staff are friendly, the atmosphere is cosy and cute and the venue is a unique gem in the village. Well worth a visit (or two) read more
