This place is fantastic! I used to go to House of Beauty and always left with messed up eyebrows. Every time I come here I leave feeling fabulous. It's a little bit out of the way for me but it's well worth it. I have had both Heena and Sabina thread my eyebrows. Heena is is extremely nice, listens to what you want, and makes fast work of threading. Sabina is amazing! Out of all the places I've tried, iThread is by far my favorite. My eyebrows like to do their own thing and the owner did a great job and even gave me advice how to keep them the shape if I get them done elsewhere. She was very sweet and inviting, as well as knowledgable at what she was doing. This is the first place I've been where someone explained what they were going to do before they did it. You can definitely tell she takes pride in making your eyebrows looks their best. The aloe vera gel at the end really helped to soothe the irritation that usually occurs after threading. I went here today and the owner was so nice. I had no idea what to do with my bushy eyebrows and she told me step by step what she would do and if that was okay with me. I really liked how they turned out. She was also very understanding that since it was my first time getting threaded that it would be a little sensitive and would hurt a little. I am obsessed with this place. I will not go anywhere else. I use to work for an eyebrow bar and I thought they were good until I moved here and found this place. They are amazing. Started coming here about 3 years ago. Sabina did my eyebrows for me in the beginning then she made them super thin and I did not like it AT ALL, but I kept coming here anyway and just asked for the other girl that was working there. Sabina later hired more people and I don't see the other girl anymore, but I started to get my eyebrows down by Heena for the past few months now and I really like her. She's so nice and definitely listens to what you want and how you like them. She helped me grow out my eyebrows and encouraged me to stay hopeful and patient with them. They have been looking so much better now thanks to Heena. I'd recommend you go to her. She never gets mad when I ask her to go over certain areas again if she missed a spot. She's very polite. Make sure you call to check if the person you want is there because they change their schedules pretty often. read more

I've been going here for a while now and I can't even begin to explain how amazing Sabina is. The only reason I'm giving this place 4 stars instead of 5 is because I did have one terrible experience with one of the employees. I think she was new but she completely hacked my eyebrows. They were so terrible. There was a huge gap, and indent in my eyebrow , and they were way thinner. Worst part is I told her i only wanted them cleaned up and she said OK and then completely re-shaped and ruined them. Upon leaving my skin was cut and bleeding and swollen. It hurt like hell and I've been getting my eyebrows threaded for a long time and have never had that happen. While the experience was terrible I went back to have them fixed and made sure Sabina was the one to do it. Now my eyebrows are full again and shaped beautifully. Also Sabina gave me 2 free eyebrow threading sessions (I chose that over a refund) to make up for the mistake. I'm not sure about anybody else who works there or if that woman was fired but I know Sabina is the best there is. I used to go to Beauty by Dolly in San Diego but now I won't go to anybody else but Sabina because she does such an amazing job. I definitely recommend having Sabina do your eyebrows. Oh and especially if there's a problem and you want to grow them out, because she knows exactly how to keep them clean but let them grow out at the same time. If it weren't for that one terrible experience I definitely would give this place 5 stars. read more

This is a true threading salon and how a threading salon should be! I came to iThread because I was tired of going to House of Beauty and coming out with messed up brows every time. House of Beauty couldn't even thread my upper lip correctly. I thought the reviews for iThread were too good to be true, but after my first visit there, I will say that this place is absolutely fabulous and deserves a 6 star rating, if I could give it that. My brows were already messed up from my last House of Beauty visit and I was trying to grow them out, but I had some where to go the next day so I wanted my brows to be at least cleaned up. When I walked in, I waited for less than 10 minutes. There were a lot of people there, it's a nice, clean establishment, well lit - which I am really happy about because HoB had dim lighting on purpose so that you can't see all the hairs they miss. Anyways, I requested Sabina after reading all the Yelp reviews and she was wonderful! She explained to me how one brow was thinner than the other and how I should grow out my brows a little more if I want the shape I requested. She did one brow first, to make sure it was the shape I wanted and she cleaned up my brows really well. She left room for my brows to grow out without them looking unkempt. Sabina did not rush and she took her time. She also got all of the stray hairs and I did not have to fix anything with my tweezers at home. On my second visit I had my upper lip done and I think it was a woman named Angie who did it. She made sure to get all of the hairs and I was really happy. Also, the aloe vera gel they use after threading is fantastic. It really helps with the irritation that can occur afterwards. I tend to get acne after threading and thankfully it did not occur when I went to iThread. This place is the only place you should get threading done. read more

Walked in and tried ithread for the first time yesterday. Sabina took care of my brows, and really focused on giving my sparse brows shape with out making them too thin. I loved how they came out, they really look fuller and cleaner and shapes my face well. What I loved was that no other threading salon took the time to go over my eyebrows before the threading session, also she made sure to wipe the hairs off my face afterward which no other threading salon has done for me in the past. (I would leave with eyebrow hairs everywhere getting into my eyes everything.) Anyways, I really enjoyed their service, and I will definitely be back. read more
