It's usually $5 to shoot around in the gym. There are 3 full size basketball courts. The courts are clean and well maintained. The gym is never overcrowded. The pickup basketball games are average level. The staff is friendly. Back Court Hoops is a good gym to enjoy basketball if you're visiting or live in Scranton, PA.

Even though the gym is nice on the tour, there are a few aspects that you don't realize about this…read moregym until after going there about a month. Every week night from 5-6 the gym is packed, to the point the parking lot is full and you have to park in the dirt lot near the trail. I'm used to this at other gyms I went to, but it was my first time experiencing a locker room legitimately running out of lockers. That was crazy to me and you would think for the price they would have facilities to accommodate their members? They also make promises when you sign up that they do not intend to follow through on. When I signed up the sales man told me they would deduct the cost of my old gym membership from the next month's payment. This did not occur and I sent all the necessary documents to the guys so now I'm waiting on a ticket to go through to a manager one of the front desk staff submitted. To sum it, this gym is not worth the price. If they were around the 100/month range I may have changed my rating, but to have had these types of issues paying over 200 a month for a gym is ridiculous.

Glacier Ridge is the home of the Lancers. And they are involved in multiple sporting events. Soccer, Lacrosse Field Hockey, Softball and Flag Foot Ball. Just recently Mr. Miller started expanding land he owned behind the building for a soccer field.
