After a day full of adventure at Luray Caverns, we returned to our motel to rest and figure out dinner. There doesn't seem to be a lot of choice when it comes to dining out in the nearby towns. Yelp came in handy to find this place near our motel in Mount Jackson. We ordered two ten inch pizzas. I got plain cheese. Jeremy got onions, green pepper, sausage and pepperoni. I actually preferred mine. I felt like the green peppers overwhelmed the taste of the sauce and it's a good sauce. The crust is lovely, crisp. The pie isn't greasy at all. I was pleasantly surprised by how satisfying it was. Jeremy also tried their cheddar cheesesteak with onions. It has a cheddar cheese sauce. He enjoyed it for the most part. He said that "the roll was garbage but the sandwich didn't survive the night." He also got ten garlic parmesan wings that were super tangy. The sauce hits you in that gland in your jaw/neck. You know the one I'm talking about. The one that feels like it swells suddenly when you eat something sour. Except it totally worked with these wings. We ended up dipping our crust in the sauce that pooled at the bottom of the wings container. It was a really great last meal to wrap up our vacation. Would recommend read more

Average food. Run down dining room. Nice waitress and service. Other guests inside were loud and their conversations were annoying, but i know that's not the fault of IT. I think they knew the staff or were local frequent customers. Salads were aight--not super or tasty but not horrible. They did serve bread, which again was okay. We had pizza the night before so didn't try theirs, but ordered buffalo wings. As expected, they were average. A little dry, and doused with what appeared to be Texas Pete with pooled at the bottom of the platter. We did get full, and the waitress got the order right. read more

Only complaint is. I ordered steak and cheese sub. Large. It look like they made the bun larger with the same serving of steak which was mostly on one end of the bun. I tasted ok nothing special. Probably won't go back. Waitress was a sweetheart. read more

Who puts mayonnaise on an Italian hoagie?? If I didn't drive 45 minutes to get here I'd take it back, and I've picked hair out of a salad. Why is mayonnaise a given on everything here? It's the most offensive condiment ever created, and everyone just assumes everyone loves it. It's wretched. I enjoyed dinner with a group; I had the spinach calzone with ricotta cheese. It was very well prepared & had a nice rich cheese & a crispy crust. It was great service from a nice lady who has worked there for 7 years. I also shared supreme pizza, which was very good. They provided refrigerated Parmesan cheese & tomato sauce with the garlic bread. The only thing that bothered me at all was there were some flies flying around. First of all do not order their soup. it is canned. Yes I know not to expect much. But 4.99 is too much to pay. Service was average. Ordered subs and sandwiches at the table. Booth seats were unpadded; could feel the springs on my butt. Bread was a cut in half subway sandwich roll served in a basket with no plates for buttered pieces. Half roll had to be torn apart and placed on a napkin. Ordered Fettuccini with chicken and broccoli. Chicken appeared to have been ripped into pieces by wolves; veins and fat lumps were not trimmed out. Broccoli florets were too tiny and sparse. Plate arrive with food swimming in a too-thin sauce. Venue was impossibly noisy -- for God's sake, equip the chair legs with sliders, anytime a chair was moved a loud screech resulted. Probably a good take-out source; would not recommend for in-place dining. One overworked server rescued this restaurant from a single star rating by her attentive and pleasant manner. read more

While staying at Bryce - we got some food to go - I had a Steak and Cheese sub with mayo, lettuce, tomato, onion, and banana peppers. We also ordered a couple of pizzas - one cheese pizza and one with pepperoni, italian sausage, onions, black olives, green bell peppers, mushrooms, and banana peppers. Both the sub and the pizza were pretty good. We had to re-heat both as the food had cooled off during the drive from Mount Jackson to Bryce. My friends tell me that while they don't deliver to Bryce/Basye - allegedly there is some spot where they will meet you half way. Have not tried this yet... Next time will have to eat in and experience Italian Touch that way! read more

We came into the restaurant at 8:45 pm, they close at 10 according to menus, door sign, and google. I checked before we arrived to be courteous to the people who were working. There was only 2 of us and we ordered simple items, at 9:25 the waitress came over while we were eating food and said we are closing in a couple minutes you need to pay now and go. At first I wasn't going to complain but after getting hair in my food, no drink refills, and then being asked to hurry up, it was not a very welcoming atmosphere to paying customers. read more

I asked our waitress and she offered to get hers from the car but also said she wears it often but not at work since she would have to wear it all day with her asthma. We came at a good time, after our orders were in the place filled up super fast so we thought they must have good food here! We didn't have to wait long for our food, pretty average 15-20 min. I was not that enthusiastic about my 10" extra cheese and pepperoni pizza. It was very greasy from the pepperoni and the cheese wasn't melted as much in the middle as I would have liked it. The crust was delicious though!! However I could only eat one slice because it filled me up quick and I know all that grease would've made me sick. BUT my mom got a meatball parmesan sub and it was absolutely delicious! I only had a taste of the onion rings and fries and they were delicious too! I would come back again! read more

Wonderful little Italian restaurant that I had no idea was around - till I found it on Yelp! Really glad I did. My wife had the lasagna, and I had the shrimp and broccoli fettuccini; nice big portions of both (they have boxes for the leftovers), and the taste was AMAZING. The ranch for the included-with-your-meal salad was different than I was used to, but it was very good. I thought the food was very reasonably priced as well! We thoroughly enjoyed our experience here, and will likely be back. read more

This is a gem! Cons: No AC it was so hot to sit inside Lack of diversity (the customers) Pros: The best food I have had in the longest time. When I say my family and I had the best time eating here, I mean it. We could not believe the quality was that good. The prices are even better and comes in plenty of quality you will have enough for leftovers. Here is what we ordered: 24 piece hot wings with ranch Cheese steak Fat boys (10 piece: 1 with mushroom and onions and another with spinach and green peppers.) this comes with two free toppings Kids meals spaghetti with meat sauce. Everything was perfectly made, best ingredients, and perfect combination. I would recommend this to everyone. Awesome little spot tucked away at the base of a mountain in a shopping center than could be located in Anywhere, America. We use these guys for Super Bowl food and have for a few years now for good reason. They are fairly quick with the orders, even when we get a little generous with our choices, and everything is always cooked and great for everyone. Great pizza and wings, a little generic, but given the location great speed and service and a great price. Staff always was ready to help whenever we had menu questions. Great for getting some grub for the family or group and enjoying a sports game or two at home with cheesy slices. read more

We were passing through on our way to DC and wanted to try something local. We thought it might be a good "hole in the wall" restaurant. It wasn't great. They were out of small and individual pizza crusts and so we had to order up if we wanted a pizza. Our waitress was friendly and I had the Fat Boy with pepperoni and bacon on her recommendation. It was okay. The sauce that came with it was a little bland and watery. I found a plastic bristle in my Fat Boy from a brush probably used to spread oil or butter so that kind of curbed my appetite. My son liked the cheese pizza, but it didn't look like anything special. If I was a local, I would probably give it a second chance, but I would not go out of my way to come back here. read more

What happened to this place? Went here many times in the past and have had many large carryout orders. Pizza was always good, not great. Wings were really good. Salads were always fresh and tasty. Service was friendly. Did they sell the place? Tonight, we ordered in person, but were taking our food to go. The details are telling (making faces at customer?), but in summary, service was incompetent and excessively rude. Unfortunately, food was worse. Pizza had an odd taste. Stopped here for dinner before heading to Delaware. This place is the bombdotcom. Man, best Italian food I've had in a long time! Customer service was excellent! I had the seafood special, my boyfriend had the. Chicken sub and my daughter had the pizza. My pasta was delicious, it could've used a little less sauce, but who am I to say. I'm the type that doesn't like a lot of sauce on my pasta. My boyfriend's sub was perfect. Chicken was cooked perfect and not dry. He like the fact that it had melted cheese on it. My daughter's pepperoni pizza was also very good. The crust was very good and the tomato sauce was amazing. The pizza slices were huge! Definitely will stop here whenever we're in town again. We stopped here on a road trip. The service was quite quick. The place wasn't busy, and we were seated right away. In a weird déjà vu sort of way, I felt like I'd been here before. I haven't, but this place doesn't belong here in Virginia. It's like they took a crappy upstate New York Italian joint, and transplanted it 500 miles south. Honestly, I can't say whether this is a good thing or a bad thing... On one hand, every town in NY has a family-owned pizza place. On the other hand, quality varies so widely. I'd say this place was about average. I had a small piece of their pizza, which was very greasy. It was hand-tossed, but it was unremarkable. We ordered canoli, which I'm sure were not homemade. I'm not a pastry connoisseur, but the canoli shells were stale. Service was quick but crappy. I feel like the server was annoyed by us or she was just snobby or something. If you're on the exit getting gas and you want some pizza, this place will make you one. If you're from upstate NY, it might even be comforting... Finally a pizza that is right on. With real mozzarella cheese, sauce with tang and pepperoni with flavor. Ordered a cheese pizza and tossed salad as well. The salad was well balanced with other ingredients that were fresh a little wet but hey. We placed our order to go while in the restaurant. The restaurant was spacious and open but no alcohol is served. The prices are reasonable and the menu extensive. If I was local this would be my go to Italian hang out. Ordered from them again this week. Got my favorites delivered, including dessert. Very happy. The delivery is fast and hot, and the people that bring the food are always cool. My personal favorite is eggplant parmesan sub which comes hot with generous eggplant and cheese, sauced and seasoned right. They also have great pizza and desserts. Remember to order a 2 liter soda if you need it (I forget sometimes). Ask them to bring a menu to for next time. They offer a lot of variety. Up until recently their food had been great and the prices were even better. But now, it's pathetic. I just spent 17.21 on a large pepperoni pizza and order of fries. The prices online would of been 9.50 for the pizza, and 1.75 for the fries. There's no way that adds up to $17 I also asked for my drink that was on credit that they had forgotten twice before and when the guy showed up with my food, he said there was no credit for a drink. We grabbed a pizza to go and it was fantastic! I noticed another yelper mentioned their order was a little greasy. Ours wasn't. It did have some residual oil from the baking pan on the bottom of the crust, but it was only noticeable on the inside of the card board box. Couldn't taste it at all. read more
