I just tried this place for the second time since moving to the area. The first time my now wife and I got takeout from here but tonight we dined in. The restaurant was busy so you know it must be good!! My wife got Chicken Parmesan with spaghetti and I got the Manacotti. Both came with a salad and a basket of bread. First off, I'm grateful that they include a salad with their pasta dishes whereas a restaurant in my hometown charges extra. The salad that comes with the pasta dishes isn't the most appealing and when I take off the things I don't eat off of it (banana pepper looking things and raw onions) it's good just not a lot there. There are a lot of appetizers that I would like to try from here. I forgot if I got manacotti last time but as I said above I did tonight. This was the best manacotti I've ever had!!! I've had pasta dishes at restaurants before where it was cold in the middle but not here. It was hot and very creamy!! I wanted more it was so good! Our server was great, kept drinks filled and checked on us regularly. Everyone dining in seemed to be enjoying themselves. Can't wait to come back! read more

Food is mediocre at best and slow coming. We ordered cheese pizza, shells and tortellini. Pizza had chunks of onions in it. The waitress was nice but didn't offer parm or a stand for the pizza. The Hispanic music coming from the kitchen was louder than the music in the dining room. Definitely could have been better! read more

The food was ok but came out of the kitchen over a 20 minute period which made it difficult for our group to enjoy our meals together. The hardest thing to get over was the menu they give you when you're ordering doesn't have the updated prices. It's not about the raised prices, you can blame our current government for that. It's the principle behind showing your customers one price and charging them another. On top of all that, the manager acted like a major asshole when confronted with this. 4 stars Only because this third time out of 3 past visits was worth 5 stars. This time though, we got take-out. Pizza was perfect. The spinach salad was perfect. Broadway doesn't have a lot of food choices, but I'll order out again! Now IN the restaurant was 2 stars....maybe. The servers were not professional both times we went and were super slow. They didn't fill drinks or check on us until we were done. The promise of staff that cares about customers would bring me back in to the restaurant. Always review on yelp after a few visits. You never know if staff or a hard day is the reason your food is not 5 stars. I am so glad that on the 3rd try, Italian touch exceeded my expectations. read more

This was a very nice small Italian restaurant as well as a pizza palace. The food that my wife and I had was excellent. Very well prepared, very tasty and more than enough to eat. If you're going to this restaurant arrive early as it fills up quickly. At least it did on a Friday night. You're gonna have to ignore all the other crybabies that are writing reviews on here as you can see they're whining about issues that have no meaning. Again this is a five-star little restaurant. We go here atleast once a week, it's our favorite place to eat in broadway. I always get the tossed salad & a slice of mushroom pizza, the pizza is always delicious. The salad always comes with banana peppers, onions, and tomatoes, which i think is pretty good for a $3 tossed salad. Pasta dishes are pretty good. They need to really work on their salads. If you don't like banana peppers or onions, you just get lettuce and green peppers. Their dressings are not homemade. Staff is ok. Not too friendly. Cheese fries were disappointing - made with this cheese goop. Small dining area, so gets quite crowded after church and during dinner time. The food used to be good when they first opened. Last few years the people answering phones are rude, the servers barely check on you, I'm always left waiting with an empty cup. The food is terrible now. Burnt broccoli bites every time, sub rolls are crisped beyond belief, the manager Ben? Brad? Starts with a B, always acts strung out. I have ordered delivery several times, the crust on the extra large has always been limp and soggy, and they need to either sharpen whatever they're using to cut the pizzas or, give lessons to the one doing that. My husband and I ordered two pizzas for takeout on his birthday last week. While eating a piece of Meat Lover's pizza, he bit into a piece of metal. It appeared to be a heavy duty staple or clasp. When I went back to the restaurant to bring it to the attention of the manager, I was told "we don't carry that." I wasn't eating here. I didn't order from here but one of their drivers purposely swerved to try and hit me and my dog. I don't think that is professional at all! When I called and informed them of it they said they would "talk to him" WHICH I THINK IS EVEN LESS PROFESSIONAL. We ordered from this place for the first time about 2 years ago--just a couple of pizzas and drinks. The pizzas were really good & tasty, but to be blunt, left everyone crapping their brains out for most of the evening after that (I assume from all the grease?). We didn't order again for about 6 months or so & gave it a try again, again with pizzas & a calzone/Stromboli & the same thing happened. Needless to say, we stopped ordering for a while... Finally, we were looking for somewhere in the area that delivered for dinner about a year ago & we chose this place again. We were hungry & wanted something that wouldn't take long to make so we got 2 subs, 2 drinks & 2 fries. We live less than a mile up the road from the place & it took over an HOUR to get our food (simple food) made & to us! I could've walked down to Subway & back 3 times by the time they got here with our food! So, 3 strikes & you're out...we don't plan on eating here again. With 1 really good chain pizza restaurant in town (Dominoes), 1 good chain sub place in town (Subway), & a really good non-chain Italian restaurant in town (Francesco's), you'd think they'd have better standards to live up to because the customers have lots of options for the type of food they make... The only reason I'm giving 2/5 stars and not 1/5 is because the food did taste good...it'll just give you the runs or you'll wait forever for it. Good luck! read more

Solid 3 stars. Food is really 4 to 4.5 but the service was lacking. Slow, busy chatting with other customers. We got up and got our own drink refills because it was much faster. Waitress took our order of wings to the wrong table. Then when their order came up she took the original order away from them and gave them the right one. Our table knew what happened but she just came and told us the wings were taking a bit longer than normal and so she wouldn't charge us for drinks. When our wings came out she lost one on the floor off the plate. No apology or anything. All the pasta dishes were delicious and wings were hot and fresh but service was underwhelming. read more

I cannot rate their pizza; but we come here every year when I visit family in the area, and we always get the subs, they are awesome!!!! My only issue is that when we ate at the restaurant, we received plenty of food, so much so, I couldn't finish it all; but when we ordered our meals to go, not only did they forget an order of fries completely, there were hardly any fries with our meals to begin with... I felt jipped. Next time, I will ensure our meals are to my liking before I leave. read more

Nice atmosphere, and the best pizza in Broadway! The servers at Italian Touch are friendly; most are in high school or college and we've had a few who were still learning the ropes. On the other hand there are a couple of seasoned servers who are amazing! We have tried a few things other than pizza. The sandwiches are great, and the fries are outstanding. The Italian wedding soup is fabulous, but it's kept frozen so it takes a while to get to the table. Wonderful salads, for the most part, and a fun selection of appetizers including battered mushrooms and mozzarella sticks. Here's where it gets tricky: the rest of the menu is average. The Italian dishes are a bit uninspired. They satisfy hunger, but seem stodgy after the first few bites. Ditto for desserts; they're nothing to write home about. All in all though, Italian Touch does a good job. They're fab for pizza, and if the rest of the menu was as tasty, they'd easily get 5 stars. read more

I have tried this place twice and both times were not a great experience. The first time we waited over 45 minutes for our food. When the steak and cheese sub came out it was mostly bread and very little steak or cheese. We expressed our frustration to the waitress who told us she would have the manager speak with us about our disatisfaction. However, she came back a few minutes later and told is the manager did not want to talk to us but he did take the appetizer off of our bill. Really?!?! The manager refusing to talk with a customer about a problem. I'm guessing he took the price of the appetizer off because it was less expensive than the sub which was the true problem but it made him feel like he was at least doing doing something. A few months later we decided to give this place a second chance. However, the second time was not much better. Unfortunately, Broadway does not have many eating options so people are stuck with this place until something better comes to town. Do yourself a favor and drive to Timberville or Harrisonburg for food. We will not be back. read more
