Tried while waiting to be picked up and am so glad I did! My little one loves plan cheese so I purchased 2 slices cheese pizza and an order of BBQ wings. My taste buds were in heaven! The pizza is more of a thin slice style but full of flavor and the crust just thick enough. The wings the best by far I've had they are baked and have no breading which I love. Lastly I went the following day and it was good again except for the spinach and feta triangles horrible tasting or maybe they're a required taste in any case I past. read more

This place has fantastic pizza and wings. I've had their food 3 times now through take-out, dine in, and delivery. They have great customer service too! Their pizza crust is crispy and delicious, and from my understanding they make everything in house. I think i'll become a regular here! read more

It's clean, and a good to go spot or eat in. Got the jumbo (two) slices, not bad... (Not NY Pizza, but then again, nothing in the DMV is.) Great lil spot for a quick nosh. I'll be back. Friendly service and hipster feel. read more

Very good Italian delivery. Their salads are fresh and large. The spaghetti and meatballs are very good. Delivery is fast and friendly.

Stopped by for lunch one day on the humble. Ordered the chicken cheesesteak, no mushrooms. Gave me xtra chicken since I didnt want mushrooms. Best sub I've had in years. Hands down. read more

Yelp never ceases to fail me. Great spot! Was hungry late night and ordered some paninis. They were great. I recommend the chicken pistado and the oven baked wings. Everything tasted fresh and freshly made. read more

Pizza was nasty in every way possible. Ingredients definitely are not fresh. You can get better tasting pizza from Pizza Hut for sure. To top it off, it isn't too cheap. Only left an extra star for the cleanliness and setup of the restaurant. read more

I decided to try a few other items on the menu and I was pleasantly surprised! The prima calzone is DELISH. It was very filling so I only finished half of it. It was STUFFEF with artichoke and other fresh veggies. You MUST try it! Also, I ordered a canoli and it was perfectly sweetened, not too sweet as many are. Delivery was fast, within about 30 minutes. read more

Tried Italian Kitchen for the first time today, love love loved it! The service was great, the bruschetta was fantastic, and the atmosphere was very relaxed. It's a great spot for an enjoyable meal. read more

My wife and I stopped for a quick bite after an evening moving. great casual place. I enjoyed the manicotti, a good serving at a very fair price. The sauce was tasty. My wife went for the portabella panni and was taken back by the size, was enough for her lunch today. The only reason I haven't given it a fifth star, was that we didn't experience the place with a crowd and the kitchen under more pressure. So yes, do check it out. read more

I found this restaurant on Yelp this evening. It has only been open for two months. I had spinach ravioli with marinara sauce. Delicious! The garlic toast was perfect. (I even requested a second piece.) The wait staff and cook were friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back! read more

Good pizza, especially the gourmet pizzas with specialty toppings like portobello mushrooms and caramelized onions. Always ready on time for pickup after work. read more

Delivery was quick and cheap. Order came 30 min early. Food was excellent. Solid, affordable Italian in Silver Spring. My new go to.

Just made an order for delivery. The delivery was on schedule and the food tasted delicious. I ordered the Italian pizza, which was a little spongy, which is fine but I like the crunch you get with real NYC pizza (I fixed it by baking it in my oven for a few minutes @425F). Chicken wings/drumettes were tender and juicy and larger than you would get at the other wings places so the cost was ok, it would be nice if they added a side of celery and carrot sticks and made the dressing cup bigger. I like blue cheese with my buffalo wings but the cup and the amount didn't work with the size of the chicken pieces. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family and I look forward to trying some of the other "authentic Italian" dishes. read more

Cheesy Bread is great! Takes me back to my undergrad days. Wings were ok. Delivery was pretty quick and is always convenient. Sometimes I treat myself to the tasty chocolate cake! read more

We've ordered delivery twice from this spot (thanks, Eat24!). First of all, I am very impressed with their delivery times! The pizza is great, and the pasta is fantastic! Everything tastes very fresh, and the manicotti I ordered on the last delivery was very obviously fresh pasta - nice and thin, not thick and chewy like dried shells get. Honestly, I have had much worse from places that cost twice as much. All in all, we are VERY satisfied, the price is right, and we will continue to order from Italian Kitchen! read more

The food is good, with selection. Delivery is 45 or less . which is not bad. But there is a woman that answers the phones and if she knew how to be quiet and listen carefully, I believe they would get more orders. The young guy and young lady who answers, they are polite and they listen. I need condiments but I can't get them because she won't sthu offering chicken parmesan just for some pizza seasonings(garlic powder, parm cheese, Italian seasoning etc).. read more

I ordered chicken alfredo to go. The food was good. The portion size was good. The meal came with bread, but the bread to pasta ratio was off in my opinion. I feel like I should have gotten more bread for the amount of pasta I ordered. The food was delivered quickly and was still very hot when I got it. I would order delivery from Italian Kitchen again. read more

Pizza is good! Wings are tasty and the price is not too bad. I've never ordered out, therefore my food hits the table hot and ready. Nice sizes slices and huge calzones. The triangle appetizer is soooo delicious!!! read more

This place sucks. Their food is good but the service is awful. I really want to like it and really try but their service is slow and forgetful. I just ordered a calzone and it came uncooked, cold and unmelted cheese. Don't waste your time. read more

I had my first extremely frustrating experience here this afternoon. After waiting for about 45 minutes for my carry out order, which I received after watching several other guests receive their food first, I expressed my discontent. Little did I know, the owner had been sitting next to me for about 10 minutes as I waited for my small order at the counter. Only after being offered a water during my unreasonable wait time was I apologized to for the epic wait of a lifetime. I guess I wouldn't have minded the wait had I not watched guest who arrived after me receive their much larger orders first--and with haste! The food is okay; it would have been much better had I not waited for almost an hour. I probably won't be back :( read more

Italian Kitchen serves the best calzone in Silver Spring. Other than that particular dish, the rest (pizza, panini, lasagna) is Meh... Delivery is convenient and fast. read more

I am writing this review for 2 reasons- First- the food at Italian Kitchen is great- it tastes like homemade. The meatballs, pasta, calzones, panini and pizza are delicious. Secondly, the people who work there were exceptionally kind to me yesterday. I ordered take out yesterday at 5 pm. Then due to some unfortunate luck, a flat tire etc., the evening got worse. I was unable to pick up my order until 10 pm. My salads had been refrigerated and the panini and spaghetti were ready to eat. It is nice to know that even if it is takeout- the Italian Kitchen staff are thoughtful and considerate. With much appreciation, Sandi read more

The food was pretty good, but it wasn't worth the price we paid for it. Bonus points for having a Pokestop basically right outside.

I got sandwiches delivered for lunch and they were quite fast, which is a plus in this area. We just moved a couple miles down the road and hope they still deliver here. Their pizzas and sandwiches are great and also lots of options for vegetarians. The ingredients they use are fresh. read more

I like to support neighborhood restaurants so decided to give this place a try this Sunday. Ordered three pizzas. Took about an hour to get delivered. We are less than a mile away. The toppings were good quality, however overall the pizza was nothing special. Very doughy crust and cheese was the pizza was pretty greasy. read more

Great addition to Fenton street - we had spinach salad with chicken which was huge and meatball sub which had great fresh bread. Good beer on tap and nice street view. read more

We wanted some pizza, takeout or delivery, and saw the good reviews here. Great! And they deliver, which is extra-convenient. Double-great! The gentleman who took my order was friendly and competent. Triple-great! He told me it would head out for delivery in about 45 minutes. We live a six-minute drive away, so I figured maybe 55 minutes, plus or minus a few. 70 minutes later (P + 70), I was starting to get a little concerned. P + 77, I gave a call, humbly and politely asked what the story was. The guy who answered told me that the driver had gone out with three orders, and it should be here any minute. P + 87, it finally arrived! Yay! The positive: It seemed like it might have once been pretty good pizza. The negative: While there was some residual warmth in the crust, the cheese was room-temperature and fully congealed. It was not good pizza, by this point. I stuck it in the oven for a little while, which gave us pizza that was warmer and less soggy but was also drier and provided an even later dinner. The driver said that this was abnormal. I hope he's right, because I'd like to give them another shot and be pleasantly surprised, but my first experience was, sadly, a bust. read more

I don't usually order though the app but I decided to give it a try. It was a huge MISTAKE. I ordered my food around 3:30pm, was told it would arrive around 4:11pm. Waiting until 4:40. OVER AN HOUR. Don't order delivery please. read more

I love this place for all things Italian! The ingredients are always fresh. My favorite is their pizza, which has the best crust. The interior has a rustic feel and the bathroom was extremely clean. Parking is on the street, but very convenient. Would highly recommend if you're looking for great service. read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR MEDIOCRE FOOD! I ordered the Quattro formajji it was salty AF! I attempted to stomach several bits before I gave up and apologetically returned it to the counter. The waits gave me a look and said "but you ate it". I told her I had a few bites obviously, but it was salty. She then said " that's what quattro formajji is". I asked her can I exchange for a small house salad she said No. She then said she could refund me a discount ($3.50) but she would have to recharge my card the $26 again. I asked her if she could simply charge mess for a side salad $4.75, and apply the same $3.50 discount instead of holding $60 authorization on my card and I pay the $1.75. She said no, she couldn't do that. She said I could speak to a manager tomorrow, but there was nothing she could do.REALLY?!! NOTHING AT ALL? This is not the first incident with them. Last time, I ordered to go and the gave me the wrong food. I called them and they did not even apologize, or offer to deliver the correct food. When I came to get my food I got no offer of a discount fort my trouble or an apology.NOTHING!!! ADD TO THAT THE FOOD WAS SALTY AF!!! Never again! read more

Was craving a slice of pizza and stopped in here. The cashier took his time to explain what makes them special. At first I thought "of course, everyone will say this"...and then it happened. I got home and tasted it. AH-MAY-ZING!! I'll definitely be back. Service was great, too!! read more

I had the portabella panini and it was amazing! Loved it and will definitely be back. I also ordered this via delivery and it only took about 30 minutes. Sadly they were out of tiramisu so I ordered chocolate cake and they gave me a free cannoli too. So glad this place opened up so close to me! Can't wait to try their tiramisu and other vegetarian entrees! read more

Excellent lunch specials. Eight bucks gets you a huge panini, unremarkable chips and a Jones fountain drink. We had 3 panini a: the Caprese, Italian and Portobello. All were excellent, particularly the Portobello. Bread was delicious- homemade focaccia. Looking forward to returning to check out their pizza and pasta. read more

I came here yesterday night starving because I just got my wisdom teeth removed Friday and wanted something soft to eat, so I got the manicotti! It was so delicious and so fresh. Very soft for me to chew on and overall just super tasty. It was my first time visiting and I ordered ahead of time and the food was ready when I got there. I'm only giving 4 stars because I wish the garlic bread would've been bigger lol. But I will be back for pizza or a calzone when my mouth heals :) read more

Very tasty panini and calzone. Nice interior finishes and friendly staff/owner.

Really tasty pizza fast and quick. Only problem was the obnoxious delivery guy leaving and entering . Other than great!

This place was so great, wonderful food and great staff. I came after a show at the Filmore not expecting much but ended up liking the calzone better than the concert! read more

We just moved to Silver Spring in March and have ordered from here several times online. Everything we've had so far has been great, but we keep coming back for their wings!! This place has some killer hot wings! I'm not sure how they cook them, but they are always falling-off-the-bone tender and their sauce is finger lickin' good. Order their Supremo pizza, bruschetta appetizer, and lots of wings... :) read more
