I came here with high hopes and was sorely disappointed by my experience. After waiting patiently for my food to come out for 25 minutes, it turns out the kitchen lost our order. When they finally brought the food out, it was not what I ordered. I really wanted to like this place, but their food is simply not good enough to outperform the less-than-stellar service. Pretty good Italian food and super fast delivery. We ordered chicken Alfredo, chicken Parmesan, and spinach dip to our hotel nearby. Took 20 minutes tops for delivery! Amazing! Food was actually very good. I would order here again for sure. read more

Tried while waiting to be picked up and am so glad I did! My little one loves plan cheese so I purchased 2 slices cheese pizza and an order of BBQ wings. My taste buds were in heaven! The pizza is more of a thin slice style but full of flavor and the crust just thick enough. The wings the best by far I've had they are baked and have no breading which I love. It was STUFFEF with artichoke and other fresh veggies. You MUST try it! Also, I ordered a canoli and it was perfectly sweetened, not too sweet as many are. My wife and I stopped for a quick bite after an evening moving. great casual place. I enjoyed the manicotti, a good serving at a very fair price. The sauce was tasty. My wife went for the portabella panni and was taken back by the size, was enough for her lunch today. Just made an order for delivery. The delivery was on schedule and the food tasted delicious. I ordered the Italian pizza, which was a little spongy, which is fine but I like the crunch you get with real NYC pizza (I fixed it by baking it in my oven for a few minutes @425F). Chicken wings/drumettes were tender and juicy and larger than you would get at the other wings places so the cost was ok, it would be nice if they added a side of celery and carrot sticks and made the dressing cup bigger. I like blue cheese with my buffalo wings but the cup and the amount didn't work with the size of the chicken pieces. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family and I look forward to trying some of the other "authentic Italian" dishes. read more

We've ordered delivery twice from this spot (thanks, Eat24!). First of all, I am very impressed with their delivery times! The pizza is great, and the pasta is fantastic! Everything tastes very fresh, and the manicotti I ordered on the last delivery was very obviously fresh pasta - nice and thin, not thick and chewy like dried shells get. Honestly, I have had much worse from places that cost twice as much. All in all, we are VERY satisfied, the price is right, and we will continue to order from Italian Kitchen! read more

But there is a woman that answers the phones and if she knew how to be quiet and listen carefully, I believe they would get more orders. I had my first extremely frustrating experience here this afternoon. After waiting for about 45 minutes for my carry out order, which I received after watching several other guests receive their food first, I expressed my discontent. Little did I know, the owner had been sitting next to me for about 10 minutes as I waited for my small order at the counter. Only after being offered a water during my unreasonable wait time was I apologized to for the epic wait of a lifetime. I guess I wouldn't have minded the wait had I not watched guest who arrived after me receive their much larger orders first--and with haste! I am writing this review for 2 reasons- First- the food at Italian Kitchen is great- it tastes like homemade. The meatballs, pasta, calzones, panini and pizza are delicious. Secondly, the people who work there were exceptionally kind to me yesterday. I ordered take out yesterday at 5 pm. Then due to some unfortunate luck, a flat tire etc., the evening got worse. I was unable to pick up my order until 10 pm. My salads had been refrigerated and the panini and spaghetti were ready to eat. I love this place for all things Italian! The ingredients are always fresh. My favorite is their pizza, which has the best crust. The interior has a rustic feel and the bathroom was extremely clean. I like to support neighborhood restaurants so decided to give this place a try this Sunday. Ordered three pizzas. Took about an hour to get delivered. We are less than a mile away. We wanted some pizza, takeout or delivery, and saw the good reviews here. Great! And they deliver, which is extra-convenient. Double-great! The gentleman who took my order was friendly and competent. Triple-great! He told me it would head out for delivery in about 45 minutes. We live a six-minute drive away, so I figured maybe 55 minutes, plus or minus a few. 70 minutes later (P + 70), I was starting to get a little concerned. P + 77, I gave a call, humbly and politely asked what the story was. The guy who answered told me that the driver had gone out with three orders, and it should be here any minute. P + 87, it finally arrived! Yay! The positive: It seemed like it might have once been pretty good pizza. The negative: While there was some residual warmth in the crust, the cheese was room-temperature and fully congealed. It was not good pizza, by this point. I stuck it in the oven for a little while, which gave us pizza that was warmer and less soggy but was also drier and provided an even later dinner. The driver said that this was abnormal. I hope he's right, because I'd like to give them another shot and be pleasantly surprised, but my first experience was, sadly, a bust. read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR MEDIOCRE FOOD! I ordered the Quattro formajji it was salty AF! I attempted to stomach several bits before I gave up and apologetically returned it to the counter. The waits gave me a look and said "but you ate it". I told her I had a few bites obviously, but it was salty. She then said " that's what quattro formajji is". I asked her can I exchange for a small house salad she said No. She then said she could refund me a discount ($3.50) but she would have to recharge my card the $26 again. I asked her if she could simply charge mess for a side salad $4.75, and apply the same $3.50 discount instead of holding $60 authorization on my card and I pay the $1.75. She said no, she couldn't do that. She said I could speak to a manager tomorrow, but there was nothing she could do.REALLY?!! NOTHING AT ALL? This is not the first incident with them. Last time, I ordered to go and the gave me the wrong food. I called them and they did not even apologize, or offer to deliver the correct food. When I came to get my food I got no offer of a discount fort my trouble or an apology.NOTHING!!! ADD TO THAT THE FOOD WAS SALTY AF!!! Never again! read more

I came here yesterday night starving because I just got my wisdom teeth removed Friday and wanted something soft to eat, so I got the manicotti! It was so delicious and so fresh. Very soft for me to chew on and overall just super tasty. It was my first time visiting and I ordered ahead of time and the food was ready when I got there. Excellent lunch specials. Eight bucks gets you a huge panini, unremarkable chips and a Jones fountain drink. We had 3 panini a: the Caprese, Italian and Portobello.
