This place is less than one mile from Penn National Gaming. I highly recommend eating here opposed to the casino. The beer is also much cheaper. And the portions and quality of food are superb. I got a Chicken Parm dinner, which came with pasta and a salad. It also came with garlic bread but I don't really like garlic bread. For you, likely an added bonus. In addition to big portions, great tasting food. I came back in for pizza and another day and also high quality. Great sub shop stop off of 81. I had the meatball sub and he wife had an Italian sub. We also ordered a few of the pepperoni knots. Everything was DELICIOUS. Solid cold drink takeaway selection as well. All the guys working were nice and wearing masks. Also a nice clean bathroom which is a bonus! It's also right off the highway so super convenient. Italian Delight has an interesting setup that sets it apart from most dining establishments. Due to staff shortage there are no designated servers - so you (the patron) get the full dining experience. Essentially, you order at the checkout counter upon walking in and then pay for your food, after which you seat yourself and then carry your food/drinks to your table once they are ready. I omitted a star only for the aforementioned reason, which is no fault of the owner but more a reflection of the times. That being said, the food here is excellent and consists of a variety of classics including pizza, pasta, sandwiches, subs, cheesesteaks, calzones, chicken, and a decent wine/beer selection. I had the Ziti a la vodka, slice of plain pizza, and a house salad. The salad was a crispy romaine blend with house dressing and topped with shredded provolone - excellent! The pizza slice was the NY variety and although it wasn't quite as large, it was tasty none the less and was baked nicely. When the ziti a la vodka arrived my stomach was nearly half full, but the blush sauce looked irrisistably satisfying as it covered the ziti on the plate. It was quite savory and sinfully satisfying! We went for dinner while in the area for a concert on November 18 2023. Place was nice, the waitresses and staff were very nice and accommodating. My wife has an Alfredo Pasta Dinner & I was unsure of what I wanted. I ended up ordering an old, reliable Chicken Parm. My wife liked her dish good but I was for the 1st time ever really really disappointed with my Chicken Parm. As it was served, I noticed the perfect shape of the 2 small chicken breasts covered with pasta. It looked weird as chicken parm goes. To my dismay it was a preformed chicken patty! Tasted like chicken nugget parm. Not sure how many would read this but I'd advise to steer clear of thd chicken parm unless you like processed chicken patties. read more

Establishment appears to be family-run; staff are so welcoming and gracious. On my second trip in, I was pleasantly surprised they had already learned my name. My wife and I have consistently gone back to this restaurant again and again, dozens of times over 3 years living in the area. We also used their catering on two occasions for parties, with compliments all around from our guests. My sister in law remarked that their wings were the best she's ever had.
