Deluxe Home Cleaning - Spotless kitchen

Deluxe Home Cleaning

I found this business while doing late night doom scrolling on Instagram. I was a little hesitant…read morebut I'm SO happy I hired them on a whim!!! Their pricing is beyond affordable for the quality you receive. This is my second time ever hiring a cleaning service. The last company left me spot cleaning after paying hiked up prices for deep cleaning. Deluxe home cleaning is NOT like this. They got into every crack and crevice. Were not afraid to move things around to clean. Which is top notch for me!! Now I'm considering hiring for reoccurring maintenance because they did a better job than I have the time and patience for. If you are looking for an efficient and friendly cleaning crew go for DELUXE Home Cleaning. You will not be disappointed.

1/5 -- $170 for a 1-Bedroom Apartment and Still Left Dirty. Extremely Disappointing…read more I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was disappointing enough that I feel obligated to share it, especially considering the price and the lack of accountability when I raised my concerns. I booked a cleaning service for my one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment for $170. Two cleaners arrived and were essentially finished within an hour. Unfortunately, the quality of their work was nowhere near what I would expect from a professional cleaning company charging this amount. During my initial walkthrough, I immediately noticed several areas that appeared completely untouched. I pointed these out and gave the cleaners an opportunity to address them. While they were supposedly making a second pass, I continued discovering additional areas that had clearly been overlooked. Some of the issues I found included: * Dirty floors and carpets: Visible debris, hair, and dirt remained on the floors, along baseboards, and underneath furniture. The children's rug still had noticeable debris throughout it. * Inadequate vacuuming: I specifically asked whether the carpets had been vacuumed and was told yes. After pointing out the remaining debris, one cleaner acknowledged that she would go over them again. She never did. * Dust everywhere: Dust and debris remained in corners, along baseboards, behind furniture, and in other easily accessible areas. * Picture frames weren't even moved: They didn't bother moving picture frames to clean behind them. Dust was still present throughout the apartment, making me question how thoroughly the surfaces were cleaned at all. * Neglected details: There was visible residue and dirt around furniture, along edges, and in areas that should have received attention during a professional cleaning. * Missed surfaces: Even the furniture had visible spots and residue remaining after the service. I've attached photographs taken after the cleaning so prospective customers can judge the results for themselves. After approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes, the cleaners were preparing to leave and requested payment. I was reluctant because I was genuinely dissatisfied with the quality of the work, especially for $170. Nevertheless, I requested their Venmo information and paid the full amount immediately, before they left. I was instructed to contact the office if I had any additional concerns. Unfortunately, the company's response was arguably more disappointing than the cleaning itself. When I called the office to express my concerns, rather than acknowledging the quality issues or offering a reasonable solution, I was questioned about why I didn't already have their Venmo information and why I needed to ask for it. This was my very first cleaning with the company, and I had paid promptly once the payment details were provided before the ladies left. I'm not sure why that was even relevant to my complaint. I was then told that the final walkthrough had already been completed, despite the fact that I had specifically identified issues that remained unresolved. The overall response felt dismissive, as though completing a walkthrough somehow absolved the company of responsibility for the quality of its work. What makes this particularly frustrating is why I booked the service in the first place. I've been working additional hours, I'm exhausted, and I wanted to treat myself to something that would make my life a little easier. I was looking forward to coming home to a genuinely clean apartment without having to spend my limited free time doing it myself. Instead, I spent $170, had to repeatedly point out areas that were missed, and was left with an apartment that still needed cleaning. For $170, I don't expect perfection, but I absolutely expect the floors to be properly vacuumed, visible dust to be removed, and basic attention to detail. These are not unreasonable expectations for a professional cleaning service. I'm equally disappointed by the lack of customer service. Mistakes happen, and I would have been willing to give the company another chance had my concerns been acknowledged and addressed professionally. Ultimately, I paid for convenience and peace of mind and received neither. I feel like I wasted $170 on a service that didn't deliver what I reasonably expected. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. I strongly encourage prospective customers to review the attached photos before deciding whether the service is worth the price.

Chris and his wife, Laura are professional, friendly and have a great staff. He came to our house, asking what we wanted, suggested some things we missed and promptly provided a contract that was clear and easy to understand. We clearly made the right choice.

Review: LC Cleaners Rating: (1/5)…read moreI hired LC Cleaners for a post-remodel cleaning of my 1,327 sq ft townhouse (built 1972) after a major renovation that required removing drywall and acoustic ceiling material that had tested positive for asbestos. Before booking, I spoke at length with the owner, Christopher, about my safety concerns given the amount of sheetrock dust throughout the home, and I specifically requested that "all surfaces" be cleaned. He was warm and reassuring on the phone, quoted me $800, and I felt confident enough to skip getting a second bid -- a mistake I now regret. On the day of service, his wife and the cleaning crew arrived in a Mercedes SUV without proper safety equipment for a site with probable asbestos contamination. She then had to leave pre-job to purchase N95 masks and HEPA filters for their vacuums, and it was clear she hadn't been briefed on the home's history. Christopher arrived later to walk me through the work. When I pointed out an area that had been missed, he had the crew clean it, and he personally re-cleaned a sink that still showed paint markings and countertops still coated in texture spray overspray. The next day, once I could inspect more thoroughly, I found the window sills filthy and the tops of the kitchen cabinets still covered in dust. Christopher agreed to send the crew back to re-clean and blamed the lapses on having too many crew members and unclear task assignments. Ten days later, when I finally moved in, I pulled the refrigerator out to plug it in and found dirt and dust underneath and on the back half of the unit's top -- the front half had been wiped clean, but not the back. Behind the lowest pull-out cabinet, I found a thick layer of fine sheetrock dust that had clearly never been touched. I cleaned all of this myself and sent Christopher photos, reminding him I'd paid a premium price for what was supposed to be a thorough, premium clean given the known contamination. His response was to list everything his crew had done, blame the carpet installers for the dust (which doesn't hold up -- the dust was only found in the untouched area below the pull-out, not on the pull-out itself, which the carpet crew would have equally affected), and suggest that if I'd been more polite when reporting the problem, he'd have come back again. He ultimately refused any refund. For $800, I expected a crew equipped and briefed to handle a known asbestos-adjacent job, and a genuinely thorough clean of every surface I was told would be covered. Instead I got missed hazardous dust in multiple spots, a defensive response when I raised it, and no accountability. I can't recommend LC Cleaners who portrays themselves as high level professional cleaners while delivering a low quality job. Sandra

Meirilene is professional, respectful, thorough, and very attentive to my preferences. I also really appreciate her transparency with pricing. Her rate can change if the regular four-week cleaning schedule is extended, but she communicates that clearly, which I think is completely reasonable. There is naturally a difference in the time and effort required to clean a home after four weeks versus going much longer between cleanings. Meirilene also works with a partner who does an excellent job with those difficult-to-reach areas, and together they do a really thorough job. Another thing that really stands out is her communication. Meirilene has always been incredibly responsive when I need to adjust my schedule. If she's running late because she's coming from another client's home, she lets me know. She's also very open to doing things according to my preferences, which I really appreciate. And honestly, Marlene is just a genuinely humble person. She seems truly grateful for the opportunity to work with her clients, and that attitude is reflected in the care she puts into her work. After several months, I feel very comfortable recommending her. Great service, honest communication, respect for your home, and someone who genuinely takes pride in what she does. I'm looking forward to continuing to work with Meirilene.
