We grabbed some drinks from here. The door was locked and they looked at us like we were intruding :/ I'm sure they didn't mean it, I'm just sharing how it felt. The drinks were good. One of staff members looked at me crazy when I asked for sugar packets lol. So while the drinks was decent i didn't really feel welcome enough to want to return. It also cost almost $17 for 2 small coffees. I wouldn't describe any ambiance. It felt warm in there but no where to sit. read more

The interior is quite nice and clean, cozy as if you are visiting a friend's home. We ordered the shaved snow. My friend an i-creation but I ordered a small thinking that I won't be able to finish the whole thing. However, it seems like the i-creation is a much better value, much bigger for its money and number of toppings. Among us we tried lychee, mango and coconut. The flavor is quite good, but the texture is too icy; not light and fluffy like the Korean style but not creamy like the Taiwanese style. I think more milk will improve the ice. Not too thrilled about the toppings... the bubbles do not have much taste in it, and the colorful mochi looks very artificial. They do have small pieces of cake desserts but they look rather similar to what you find at buffet tables... So even though it's free with check in, I didn't feel like getting one. Won't mind coming in again with friends but definitely better options out there. read more

This review was done during covid so there was no inside seating and the restaurant was only doing takeout at the moment. Picked up a green tea ice latte here. It was pretty good. Not awesome. If I wasn't craving some caffeine they have speciality drinks too. I will probably be back to try out their other unique flavors they have. Since I was in the plaza and wanted something sweet I decided to give this cafe a try. Unfortunately, it looks like they were undergoing renovations so we had to wait outside to place our orders. Did my nails and decided to check out this cafe right next door. As soon as I entered there was a really peaceful vibe, they offer a a variety of cakes , mini treats , teas, coffee , boba teas and smoothies. The employees were very friendly and even helped with a drink suggestion. They offer a free mini pastry with drink purchase. I purchased a coconut boba tea and got a free German chocolate pastry. The boba tea was smooth and definitely not too sweet compared to other places, the chocolate pastry was perfect and decadent, chocolate cake with ganache and pecan on top. The atmosphere was very quiet, you can sit and work on your laptop or just hang out with friends or family. I loved the decor and all the artwork and quotes that were posted on the wall. iSweets Café is a cute, sweet spot that has the most comfy couches and a quiet spot to catch up on some work. The desserts behind the glass all look so welcoming and you just want to eat it all. I used my 1 free mini pastry with a purchase of a Thai iced tea which tasted pretty smooth and delicious. Our mini pastry that we got (sadly I was so excited on getting this chocolate pastry I forgot to get the name) is a 4 layer chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream frosting in between and on top with a swirl. The chocolate mini pastry was very good and tasted like a chocolate carrot cake. The other two pastries we got was a lavender honey & matcha green tea macaron. The lavender was really good except it was overpowering with lavender and caused the honey to be lost. The matcha green tea did not taste like green tea at all. It tasted more stale - a cookie left in the cupboard for over a year. I'm obsessed with macarons especially my favorite flavor matcha green tea. But after eating those macarons I got an allergic reaction really bad I'm not sure if it was near walnuts. To end on a sweet note, it's a sweet little shop that sells sweet drinks & desserts to create the most sweetest moment in a sweet little time. read more

Came here to get a quick pick me up before my next errand. The service was really nice and friendly. I ordered their chai tea with almond milk. Service was waaaay beyond rude. The three Asian ladies who run this place needed lessons in customer service. We ordered 2 alternative milk boba teas and paid. I chose coconut milk. My husband was entertaining the baby while I ordered. The young lady at the register asked my husband if he would like coconut or almond milk. He asked which alternative milk would taste better in the drink and lady took a while and didn't answer. Finally he asked which milk qualified was the sexy alternative milk as he danced with the baby. Everyone laughed. Before answering the lady at the register gagged and commented under her breath that she would rather vomit. I turned and looked at her and she said she did not know which milk to recommend. He chose almond. The woman went in the back and told someone the order - incorrectly. I corrected. The person making the drinks came out with boba. The order was relayed incorrectly again. Corrected - again. Then the drinks came and they were disgusting. Both teas were sweet enough to cramp the mouth as well as tasting really off. I can't even begin to say how disappointed I am. I ordered a small custom cake 2 weeks ago. I was told to come in at 9am the day of because the time of our party is 10:30. The owner says to us "just come in at 9. I'm always here" though they open at 11:30. I too her to her word and arrived when we were told to find no one around. Your in for a pleasant surprise at this place. It's a cute coffee shop with displays of dessert treats. Table and chairs in the back and cushy chairs. Makes getting a boboa tea nice. I ordered the Coco Cabana with coconut ice and Simple S'more with Chocolate Ice without the chocolate drizzle. As you can see from the pictures the Coco looks more like what Snow Ice is suppose to look like. Both taste like real snow, soft, cold, little flavor with a hint of sugar. Unlike the sugar mess you may have made as a kid. This is not overly sweet and the other dashed of chocolate chips, marshmallows and such doesn't add to being overly sweet. It's like eating a cloud if you could eat clouds. Very nice, light and not filling. The chocolate was a little gloppy, not as light at the coconut. I attribute that to maybe the machine was not in use. We got there on a Saturday evening and the place was empty. A nice treat and an interesting presentation. It may be a little overpriced for two desserts around $16.00, but I ordered from the list not make my own. Plus I wan not able to leave a tip, POS system was giving trouble. She convinced my friend to try vietnamese iced coffee (which is awesome-sauce if you've never had it). It's drip coffee with condensed milk. Sooooo good. They also have typical coffee options and an assortment of pastries. They also have soup and such so you can definitely grab lunch here. There are plenty of seats available or you can take it to go. What a delightful little piece of Paris (and sweets!) in the middle of a strip mall in Plantation!! I fell in love with the atmosphere, the 2 sisters that own the cafe, the beautiful array of inviting little desserts and their organic coffees! First time I came here was on my birthday like 3 or 4 years ago. My sisters took me here cause I wanted coffee and desert and when we walked in we were arguing as sisters do about what each of us was going to get so we could basically try everything and not get the same thing. Like sisters do ya know lol I think somewhere in the middle of me telling both my sisters no and to be quiet the cashier said you guys must be sisters and we said yes she said she and her two sisters started this place and she called one of them out. Such a weird coincidence that day. A few month later they actually ended up making my cousin Aleahs Bob Marley birthday cake so good! I would have to say they're pasties are the best. I love their Vietnamese coffee, Thai tea, brewed tea, and iced coffee. But this isn't Starbucks this is real brewed coffee. My favorite macaroon is the lavender honey and the fruity pebbles. I wish I took more pictures of them before I stuffed my face cause they are adorable. A box of pastries here are really amazing also great for any party or hosting event. Found this place searching for smoothie places on Yelp and it's right down the street from me. Tonight I was going to check it out; they keep the door locked and the employee opens the door and literally plays blocker so you are not going to walk in. Told her I'd never been there and needed to see the menu(which I can see is all along the wall) she points to this itty bitty menu in the window that's in the dark. Can't see the menu to begin with, but between the door blocker and the only table with two people sitting blocking the menu, I couldn't do anything without crowding everyone. If businesses go out of business from covid, part of the reason is going to be the way they're handling the whole thing. If you don't want people in your shop, stay closed, but it's a terrible way to try and win any new customers. Needless to say, I won't be back. read more
