Found this place searching for smoothie places on Yelp and it's right down the street from me. Tonight I was going to check it out; they keep the door locked and the employee opens the door and literally plays blocker so you are not going to walk in. Told her I'd never been there and needed to see the menu(which I can see is all along the wall) she points to this itty bitty menu in the window that's in the dark. Can't see the menu to begin with, but between the door blocker and the only table with two people sitting blocking the menu, I couldn't do anything without crowding everyone. If businesses go out of business from covid, part of the reason is going to be the way they're handling the whole thing. If you don't want people in your shop, stay closed, but it's a terrible way to try and win any new customers. Needless to say, I won't be back. read more

Always something new and wonderful here! Yesterday we had the shrimp potstickers, the garlic pork potstickers AND the honey ham potstickers as a lunch for 2. They were marvelous. Finished the day with 2 mini crime brûlée bought at the same time but which we disciplined ourselves to save for evening dessert. Always on the hunt for the hidden gems, we came upon the shiny iSweets Cafe. Let's begin with a question...Where in Plantation do you go for desserts? Let's say you find yourself driving along in the hot summer sun and all of a sudden it hits you. The craving. Something sweet, but not too sweet. You wish there was a bakery around here and, you've searched...believe me you have...most of those searches turn up the same old stuff...who wants to go to the Cheesecake Factory? ugh...But oh no....not this day. Yelp comes through and finds this. iSweets cafe. Where did this come from? Let's go. What we found was a charming little spot along Broward Blvd. A family run bakery with loads of french inspired treats, loose leaf tea, organic coffee, and yes...The Snow Ice. I don't really know how to explain it but this is a great treat! You're just going to have to try it. We had a mango snow ice and it was very good! Also we tried a couple of pastries and yes an amazing loose leaf Sencha Sakura tea that was out of hand. We met the owners who are super passionate about what they do. I'd visited this little place about a month or so ago and had to come back for something very specific, their macaroons! Oh my, I really missed them. They are made fresh daily and my favorites are: Raspberry, Rosewater, Orange with chocolate cream, Citron is Crazy good! And....um, I think I'm forgetting one but it doesn't matter, just get 2 of each they are awesome. The coffee's are really amazing as well! I have not tried their Frozen ice and I've had a few of their other desserts but do not recall exactly what I tried. I guess I'll just go back again for more macaroons, and some other stuff! It is not that point that we got a refund - I wanted to pay as fast as possible to get out of that place - due to the faces and snippy comments about how they have been to Mishas cupcakes and theirs are real buttercream... I was really disappointed with this place today. I have walked in once before, but today was the first time that I've made a purchase. Today I bought 5 macaroons at $2/pop. I'll go into the flavors momentarily, but the most upsetting part about my experience here was the service. I paid my $10 and change, and then the lady says that she is really sorry, but she should have charged us for one more and that she needs $2.00 more. Well, I don't want to break the $20 bill I have on me, and she won't run a transaction for $2 on a card. My mother (who had gotten one of them) offers to return her macaroon, to which she very quickly says that she can't take it back. Then, in a rather frustrated manner she proceeds to tell us that we can "just have it." As i'm walking out feeling weird about the whole situation I realized I ONLY HAD 5 MACAROONS! The lady caused so much stress when she had charged the correct amount in the first place. When I said there was just five she acted like that was not the case, so I walked over and showed her the exact number of macaroons, to which we got a "oh, sorry." I'm sorry, but i'm not okay with this level of customer service. The worst part is that she even knew I was a yelper because I mentioned I checked in and that there was a free pastry showing, and she told me that I couldn't use it since I didn't have a coffee. Now onto the macaroons themselves. We had lavender honey, pistachio, eggnog, and fruity pebbles. They were all entirely too sweet. My mom couldn't detect the lavender at all in the lavender honey one (I could, but it was mild), and the pistachio almost tasted like licorice to me. Just not very good. At that price point they were super tiny and not worth the cost. I hate to go against the grain when a place has lots of sparkling reviews, but between the service and sub-par macaroons I have got to go with two stars here. read more

iSweets is a go-to spot for me in Plantation. While I don't particularly like all they have to offer (I've gone here quite a few times), I do like much of the staples like the Thai tea and lychee offerings. In vernal they are quick for delivery but a little slow for pick up so call with plenty of time if you plan in picking up. All in all enjoy it! read more

I love this place! It's adorable. Everything is delicious and made by them. The owners are the most adorable, sweet, gracious people you will ever meet. The coffee was delicious. My husband and I tried a variety of things because he has a mild nut allergy. The macarons are out of this world with both more standard and unexpected flavor combinations. We L O V E this place! My girls love the Strawberry Boba Smoothie but, they have so much MORE!!!! The ladies there are really friendly and took the time to explain what Boba is. I finally got a chance to try the place out was very satisfied. The snow ice wasn't as filling as a regular ice cream dessert but much more refreshing. My son tried the Candy Crush and I had the Caramel Mocha both were very good. The place is very nice and the employees were friendly and attentive. I really like this place a lot! I recently discovered it while in the area and it's wonderful! The owner is super sweet and knowledgeable. She told me a lot about how the shaved ices are made and that hers are made from scratch with real fruits and things. The seasonal flavor right now is pumpkin (in the summer it was key lime) and it's so good! Very light and a truly original take on the traditional pumpkin spice. The Icee twist is the best way served especially in the florida heat! I also tried the peppermint coffee which was very minty and refreshing. Their mousse pastries are really nice and creamy and I have yet to try their macaroons but I'm sure they're amazing! Everything is fresh and they don't use syrups. The cake and cookies was Fantastic. The atmosphere and music was also very cool. The Service was also excellent.

I came with two of my friends and we each ordered a creation so we could try all of them! We got the caramel mocha, candy crush, and tropical paradise. Out of all three of them, I definitely liked the tropical paradise one the best. Maybe it was because I ate sweets earlier that day, but I was just craving something fruity and the mango snow ice that came in the tropical paradise was AMAZING. I also got a chamomile tea and used the yelp coupon to get a free cream puff! The chamomile tea was very soothing since I had a sore throat that day (but still couldn't resist getting snow ice, haha!) and the cream puff was very light and just melted in my mouth. On top of the delicious desserts, the interior of the place is so cute! They have cute little quotes on the walls and pictures of coffee and snow ice scattered around. The staff was very friendly and didn't judge us for taking over 10 minutes just to take pictures of the food before eating it (we're basic AF and can't resist taking aesthetic pictures).
