Oh, and if you want meaningful insurance, you have to pay for it and it is not included in the original quote. Neither of the guys they sent could speak English, which obviously made communication difficult. They wrapped a Ralph Lauren coffee table with a blanket and tape, and pulled off the finish when they took the tape off and just shrugged when I pointed it out. In the quote, they ask for the size of your storage unit, and then after jacking up the price after the move, they said the storage unit was too small for the amount of stuff in it. It could have easily held twice what was in it. Anyway, they suck. Don't recommend. Avoid with extreme prejudice.

I used Bellhop and while i was happy with the movers-except that the original mover called out sick…read moreso i had to wait 30 minutes for the back up who was awesome. When I booked, the online estimate was a little under $600 for 3 hours, one truck, 2 pro movers. It ended up costing a little over $1000 vs the $600 that they estimated on their website. One additional hour for the truck would have cost $108 and then for the two movers $61 at $30.50 each. So if anything an additional $169 is understandable. But instead it ended up costing me $917 ($300 more than I expected!!) with a discount from an apartment finder company. Also why am i paying for the truck to idle while the the first mover waited for the back up mover to arrive? he told me he couldn't start moving until the 2nd mover arrived. Like holy cow. I tipped the movers $60 each on top of all that. And not only were they not upfront of their charges (i took 4 hours to move and the rate they estimated is for 3 hours) they overcharged my card and now i am waiting for $175 to get credited back to my card. The customer service person said that to get the best estimate, it was best to call versus book online.

Instead, the movers took multiple breaks -- including several cigarette breaks -- totaling nearly 40 minutes, all of which I was charged for. I had clearly explained that we needed to stay under two hours due to budget, and that any remaining items could be handled later. Despite that, the time was not managed responsibly, and my belongings even ended up smelling like cigarettes. This is unacceptable and unprofessional. The company's time management and billing practices need serious improvement. I would advise future customers to carefully monitor the time and clarify billing expectations upfront and firmer as they did not take me serious; maybe because I'm a lady. It appeared that efficiency was not a priority and I assuming that the company suggests to take their time to take advantage of an extra funds-- the movers didn't even use a dolly, which could have made the process much quicker. While the movers were courteous, the lack of professionalism and accountability made the experience frustrating. I agree with previous reviews that described the service as less than honest. I hope the company takes feedback like this seriously and makes improvements moving forward. Instead of trying make the client at fault and with excuses. The company definitely run the clock on you on purpose after multiple attempts. I will not be using them unless I have money to just to burn.

After 7 hours of one packing just the kitchen and one loading, we realized they weren't going to be done anytime soon, so we jumped in to assist. After storing our stuff at their facility for a month and a half, we scheduled delivery and asked and confirmed an arrival between 12 and 1pm after we closed on our new build. 3 hours later they arrive after 3pm. After 7 hours of unloading. We were left with interior wall damage, damage to an interior door, missing legs to a bed, missing slats to two beds, missing boxes, damaged and broken washer and dryer, damaged and broken Conroe center on the dryer, dented and damaged 1 year old Cafe refrigerator, missing the shelves and all the handles and hardware from the cafe refrigerator, missing countless other items as were are still unpacking, one bed put together, 2 beds partially put together and one bed not put together at all because they somehow lost the feet to the bed, ($5,000.00 bed), left without hooking up the broken washer and dryer, not because it was broken, but because they said they didn't have time. When we questioned them about it, they literally got in the truck and took off. Then to top it all off, we have found German cockroaches in the brand we home.. we have never had any bugs in our home, until this move with this company. No one returns phone calls, they leave you hanging. The owner is as unprofessional as they come. 10 out 10 do not recommend. Buy up. Pay more. These guys are trash.

This has got to be one of the worst companies on the planet, would rate negative stars if only that…read morewere an option. The reviews they have on their website are clearly cherry-picked/paid for reviews by their employees. There is no way that anyone that had ever actually done business with this company could rate higher than 1 star. Also, don't use their website for their operating hours because apparently they're not open on Saturdays like their website suggests. Now the actual review: first contact should've been a red flag when the sales rep used the tactic of saying "this deal is only good for as long as you're on the phone, once you hang up, the deal is no longer available." Should've realized right then and there that it was a bad idea to get involved with these people, but I did. The sales rep also gave a "callback" number that ended up not being in service. I was informed that my items would be picked up by an 18-wheeler in New Mexico and delivered to Florida (1400 miles) promptly. I set pick up dates with a different representative that said my items would be delivered in 3-5 days (the time it takes to drive 1400 miles). A representative called me the day before pickup to give me a window, 4-7PM, which I thought was a little late but being in the military and having moved 6 other times, I figured this was because the 18-wheeler had another pickup before me. The crew calls me at 5:30PM on pickup day and says they're running late and proceed to tell me that it would 11PM (how they thought this could be acceptable is insane) before they get there. I requested they come the next day, they had to call their supervisor for permission, and proceed to tell me that they'll be there at 7AM. At 7:30AM crew calls me to tell me that they'll be there at 10AM. They finally show up at 10AM with 2 U-Haul trucks and another moving truck. They pack up my stuff and load it and then charge me an extra $2000 for storage &handling and bulky items. I was told by the sales rep that storage was included and I didn't have any bulky items, these were fraudulent charges. The driver tells me that my stuff will be delivered in 2-12 business days. I called both Reliant Moving Solutions and West Coast Moving (the ones doing the actual moving, also a terrible company) on the next business day (Monday) to inquire about the fraudulent charges. The problem with calling Reliant Moving Solutions is that they never answer their phones, out of the 100+ times I've called them I have talked to them a total of 6 times (not reliable at all). While contacting the Moving company they inform me that they will have a supervisor contact me. In talking to Reliant, they tell me that once they get the paperwork from the movers that they would review it and contact me. Friday comes around and I had yet to receive a call so I called Reliant, they told me that my stuff would get delivered in 2-14 business days (no consistency in the lies they've been spewing) and that they would request the paperwork again. Then I called the moving company and was told that my stuff was in California (800 miles in the opposite direction of where it needed to go) and they had up to 21 business days to deliver it. Needless to say, I was furious. Now, I've been in the Air Force for 17 years and moved 6 times in those 17 years, I've never had a moving company that didn't show up with an 18-wheeler, pack up my stuff and drive it directly to the delivery address. Driving 800 miles in the opposite direction is just logistically stupid, for a lack of better phrasing. I spent the rest of Friday afternoon trying to contact Reliant since they're the ones that hired this West Coast moving company and they actively avoided my calls (30 attempts), and because their website says they're open on Saturday, I spent the day trying to call (50 attempts). On Monday I made 9 calls before someone answered the phone and the woman that I spoke with had the audacity to tell me that she had other customer calls to answer rather than listen to my situation, was actually talking with other customers while I was explaining the situation, and would routinely interrupt me while I was talking. I've never been treated with such disrespect, people in the military actually care about people where as people outside the military only seem to care about money and their company's bottom line. I asked to speak to a manager, she said she was the manager and that she wasn't going to do anything for me. So basically once you sign a contract with this company they don't care about you or what happens to your stuff so as long as they get their money.
