It's been three years since I was back home in Toronto and one thing my wife really wanted to do…read morewas hit up this new horror book store, Little Ghosts! After walking way too many hours, we figured we would end our daily shopping with a high note and grab some books. This store is exactly what we wanted it to be, from the moment you walk in you are surrounded by thousands of horror books, shirts, and even coffee if you want some. My personal favourite things about this store were the Goosebumps books (which I was able to snag four towards my complete collection) as well as the area near the cash register with books they published. We currently live in LA and figured it would be way cooler to get stuff put out by Little Ghosts then horror books we can easily acquire elsewhere so we picked up copies of Student Bodies, Modern Folklore, Your Flight Has Been Cancelled, Little Guts, and It Looks Like Dad. The coolest part of our visit, was after we paid the gentleman working behind the counter just so happen to be the author of It Looks Like Dad so he signed the book for us right on the spot, how cool is that? Overall, Little Ghosts is one of the coolest book stores I've ever been too and it'll absolutely be on my "must" list every time I return to Toronto in the future. The store looks wonderful, the owner we met was super friendly, and you really can't beat a selection of books that might make you cry. Come check this place out!

This is a small Coles store located on the second floor, close to The Bay. The kids' section is…read morekind of big considering the store is so small. There's a whole section for manga (I didn't see Haikyu!!), a section for fiction series for kids aged 9-12, a variety of activity kits, greeting cards near the front, magazines on the opposite wall, and so much more. I had gone to pick up an order that had been shipped to the store. One employee at the register was helping a customer, and where to line up was not clear, so I stood at one end. The employee that I encountered wasn't very friendly, so my overall impression of my experience was not good.

Possibly the least helpful sales associates I've ever come across. I went into the store with the…read moresimplest question and it took two out of three of the employees to even attempt to give me an answer. Not only that, but they became rude with me and one of them said to me with attitude "I'm not sure what your asking mamm." I rephrased my question three different ways before they directed me to one of the "larger stores" aka chapters indigo, when they could have called themselves if they were even the least bit helpful. I ended up calling Chapters at John and Richmond myself after leaving the store flustered and irritated, asking the EXACT same questions and had an answer in less than a minute. In conclusion the staff at this location (not all, but 2 out of ? ) are incompetent. I will never go back into this store again.
