They have a good selection of made in Charleston food items: hot sauce, jams, jellies, tea, salt, biscuit mix, cookies, honey, just to name a few. The shirts and hats here are pricier than a touristy beach shop, but they look like they'll last for years to come and many more beach visits. If you have kids to shop for, this is a great spot, and you can find everything from shirts and hats to books written by local authors. I personally like buying Christmas ornaments when traveling, and Islands Mercantile has an impressive selection of those, too. When you walk in, almost all of the items are Kiawah themed, but as you walk to the back of the stores you see enclaves of Seabrook items. Check out the sale area for deals too.
