While the space is modest in size, it's absolutely beautiful and perfect for a relaxing walk on a nice day. Since it was around 85 degrees, we put Luna's dog shoes on for the walk. We highly recommend using dog shoes on hot days-they protect your pup's paws from hot pavement, sharp objects, and even things like bees (Luna was stung once, so we ve learned!). It can take some time for dogs to adjust to wearing shoes, so be patient. Use treats and positive reinforcement when they ignore the shoes, even for a moment. It really helps make the experience more comfortable for them.

I love that they have a wide range of items including great women's t-shirt and sweatshirt fits and a nice variety of options for children. I purchased myself and my two children (kids and toddler sizes) both a sweatshirt and a t-shirt each. We also got a couple stuffed animals, a figurine for my daughter, a mug, a Christmas ornament, a magnet, and a couple different stickers. Prices aren't cheap -- we spent over $250! -- but the quality is nice and I wouldn't consider any of our items overpriced. We'll be back again next time we visit the island!

I got a pull over hoodie in pink fleece that said " Travel More Worry Less". Cool motto that I would love to adopt in my new home land here in HHI. The prices are what you would expect in a tourist destination. The only reason they lost a star is that at the register when you use a credit card you pay more. The banks really need to work with these businesses as the tourists will just stop shopping No Bueno!

I discovered Shirt off my Back when window shopping on Second Sunday. A cute ladies-cut shirt caught my eye, so I walked in to check it out, not realizing that this is a fairly new store. These shirts are not your average cheap, 100% cotton, boxy shirts that either never soften or tear up in the wash. The shirts are soft cotton or tech shirts- great for hot days. They also have a large selection of long sleeved shirts, hoodies, and even rain jackets. If apparel isn't your thing, they sell car magnets, stickers, Christmas ornaments, and other fun gifts to take to friends and family back home. Since it rains so much in Charleston, I couldn't pass up a new rain jacket. I ended up buying a youth large, which was only $19.99, but adult rain jackets are only $24.99. Adult t-shirts were around $20-25, with kids shirts being closer to $10-15. The non-clothing gifts were all under $10. We had no idea until we entered just how far it went; it goes "on & on"! So much history within these buildings. It's one of the oldest public markets in the U.S. Has weathered many storms and has been registered in the National Registry of Historic Places. Established in 1788 (even though the inside entrance stats 1807) & as of today it still stands on the premises of monetary trades & services, as well as shared cultural heritage. There are countess vendors throughout this retail galleria. We enjoyed mainly browsing the works of products that were officially certified as Handmade in Charleston. You won't get tired of looking, but a lot of repeat sellers. It's essentially like a flea market if you will. It was fun, but way too much basket weaving vendors. Was so intriguing to watch the Gullah artistry & understand its importance here, but would have liked to have seen and explored MORE local foods. Wished that they would have had a specific area that was an actual type of wet market/ open-air concept or traditional marketplace that sells fresh, perishable foods like meat, seafood, and produce focusing more on local eats and food heritage of its distinct low country cuisine. There were some food spots, just not what we had envisioned or experiencing with other east coast markets we've been to. Bought a bottled water that was over $5!
