It was very well made, and it fits over our large sliding glass door perfectly. Island Window Coverings did it all -- from design help, to measuring, and the install. I moved to Maui after losing my home in Sonoma County in the October 2017 wildfires. One of the things I had in my former home was plantation shutters. My Maui house was in dire need of window coverings and I called Lisa Burke at Island Window Coverings and she recommended a product. I cannot express how HAPPY I am that I found Lisa and yesterday her installer, Jonathan, came to install 10 shutters and a slider window treatment. The result was more than I had hoped for and I now have a little bit of what I lost back in October. The shutters and slider treatment are absolutely beautiful. Recent experience with Island Window Covering deserves recognition. I stopped by on the way to OGG for a return flight to the mainland without a lot of time to linger. Lisa was so helpful with selecting window treatments for a floor to ceiling slider and oversize bedroom window that met my requirements for style and privacy. Her knowledge of product lines and suggestions for customizing my selections were excellent. I had my quote within 24 hours; we completed order details via phone. Lisa provided me with time fame for arrival and installation, we set up an install date, and I booked my return flight accordingly - all 6 weeks in advance. Sure enough the window treatments arrived on schedule, her installer (Jonathon - a rock star) showed up on time, did a beautiful job, removed old drapes and rails, and didn't leave a flake of drill dust behind him. She always responded to me quickly and was so kind (even when I sent her out to my condo way to early and she was unable to take measurements because the windows hadn't even been fully put in place yet). Lisa at Island Window Coverings is amazing! I had a small, simple repair to be done on a chair cushion cover. I was panicking because I needed it done fast and didn't really know where to go or what to do about it. The zipper had completely come apart and the seams unraveling. I did a quick search online and found these guys in Kihei, about 5 minutes away. I thought it was going to need replacing, and possibly take awhile if a speical zipper needed to be ordered, but Lisa said "oh yeah, I can fix this, this will be the easiest thing I do all day!" She couldn't have been sweeter. It was a little thing, but I was so relieved and happy. It took her 2 minutes if that, and looks like a brand new cushion! Thank you Lisa!
