I finally got around to trying this spot a few times, which has been around for a while, the oldest Yelp review was over 16 years ago. They have received just over 2.5 reviews a year, but somehow are still here. I ordered the Oxtail, a favorite - called in the order, based on Yelp reviews this seemed the way to go. On another occasion I tried the Curry Goat. The Oxtail and Curry Goat were very good, tender and flavorful, and the serving size was reasonable. On one visit the cabbage was well seasoned, but rather bland on the other. The rice and peas were just ok, and the plantains lacked softness and sweetness. I almost certainly come again - I want to try the Jerk Chicken, Curry Chicken, the Pepper Steak, and for sure the Turkey Necks.

The food was ready when I arrived, and I paid $25 for 1 oxtail plate. Considering how much oxtail are in the grocery store, this is a deal for not having to prepare them myself. The food was still piping hot when I arrived home 20 minutes away. They gave generous serving of oxtail (about 5-6 pieces). -The oxtail and its gravy were flavorful, and the meat was super tender and filling. The best I've had since Rhythms closed. -The cabbage was flavored well but was a little too salty. The rice and peas were bland.
