We enjoyed this nice little spot in North Carolina for some good Latin Food. My Husband picked up our dinner. He said the restaurant was a good vibe with friendly service. We both had the Pork Chunks with pigeon peas rice, side salad and pupusa. So flavorful and delicious. Loved the garlic sauce. We recommend this location for some good Hispanic Food

Traditional Salvadorean Breakfast- Sweet Fried Plantains, Scrambled eggs, refried beans, fresh cheese, avocado and Tortillas

I came for breakfast, when they opened and found to be the only customer on a Tuesday morning which was great. The waitress was not inviting at all but when I approached her she did her job. The location of the restaurant looks a bit shady so I was a bit skeptical at first. Though, I love the variety of the menu a mix of Salvadorean, Mexican and Dominican! I was in search of a traditional Salvadorean Breakfast- Fried Sweet Plantains, scrambled eggs, refried beans, Salvadorean fresh cheese with a side of avocado and tortilla with coffee! I found it right here! Location not great! Service could be better! Food Great! I will definitely be back but bright and early to avoid the crowd.

The food here is very good! The Papusas are the best I've had so far. The environment makes me feel like actually in El Salvador or possibly Mexico. Often the family owned smaller restaurants are always the best. The restaurant is kept very clean which is another plus. All the staff wear masks.

This place always hits the spot! I think I've tried almost everything here. We love the pupusas and the horchata! It's a staple in our house. They are prompt with timing and when we pick it up still piping hot. The prices are good and they deliver a friendly face when we go in. This time around we got the tamales as well and it was amazing, taste like home. Didn't get a picture of that cause I ate it so fast lol definitely check them out!

I don't know why this place doesn't have more reviews. Maybe not many people are into Salvadorian or Dominican food in this area but you are missing out! Went back today and we shared some fried pork chunks (chicharron), mangu, Dominican rice and beans, papusas and tostones. The food was freshly prepared to order and was just as good as the last time! The food and the salsas are amazing. Please give this place a try!

I only go for the pupusas. They are really good. I do take out so I'm not sure their in person service is.

My husband ordered Carne Mechada Arepa and said it was absolutely delicious, very savory and tender beef. He had added on avocado for 2 dollars which itself was very reasonably priced based on the amount of avocado gave however, this item overall is smaller than he would have anticipated. I ordered Arroz Con Carne Mechada with a side of their cilantro sauce. I was very satisfied with the whole meal as the meat was flavorful, there was plenty of cheese, and the cilantro sauce just put everything over the top. I will say pricing wise, I was given a much bigger portion that matched a bit more the price point compared to my husband. I am aware with small business it may be hard pricing wise, but I do think with my husband's meal, it could have at least come with a side of rice included to round out the dish. Overall the food was great quality and the staff were nice and helpful. I would come back to try additional menu items.

We tried the Arroz con Mariscos and the Bistec a lo Pobre and let's just say, we left full and highly impressed. The seafood rice was loaded - like actually loaded - with shrimp, mussels, and more, all tossed in a rich, savory sauce that had just enough depth to make you actually slow down and appreciate it (or at least try to before inhaling it). Then the Bistec a lo Pobre, the ultimate Peruvian comfort food. Juicy steak, caramelized onions, rice and beans, and a fried egg on top - bc of course. Somehow everything works together without feeling over the top. The service was warm and welcoming. The staff is super helping at explaining the dishes and offering suggestions. The atmosphere is casual but inviting - nothing flashy, just a cozy spot that lets the food do the talking. Bottom line: come hungry, bring adventurous tastebuds, and maybe wear stretchy pants!

Love the interior decor, with an added covered patio on bustling Elm St. Service was quick and friendly as well. The ceviche had excellent flavors with the lime juice, red onions and cilantro. The fish was tasty, but a few pieces were a bit tough, not your typical melt in your mouth ceviche style fish. But the flavors made up for it and then some. The Lomo Saltado (steak, tomatoes, onions, peppers fired up in a wok) had complex and exceptional flavors as well. Again, some of the meat was a bit tough and chewy. But again, the authentic Peruvian flavors shined. Instead of fries, I chose the fried yucca as a side and these were outstanding. Perfectly fried, tender and flavorful. Dipping these in the sauce the meat was bathed in was heavenly. Had the fish and meat been a little more tender, these would have easily been 5 star dishes. Overall, an amazing authentic Peruvian spot, that with a little tweaks, would be a 5 star joint 100%. Looking forward to trying some of their other amazing dishes on the menu.

The inside is cozy and on the smaller side but so cute. We started with the buratta appetizer which came with focaccia and pesto which was all amazing. The pesto had a great garlic flavor and the bread was lightly toasted. For an entree, I had the Moroccan couscous with crispy chickpeas and even though the picture might look a little weird, I can assure you it was delicious. The chickpeas were really crispy as promised and the flavor was delicious. It was well seasoned and the sauces were so good. The green one was a mint parsley I think and the orange was my favorite - red pepper tahini. My only complaint would be that I want more of the sauce because it was so good. I really enjoyed & I appreciated that they had this vegan option. They have tons of wine & the cocktail menu is also great. The waiter was super friendly and quick.
