The experience was not near as wild as that of a moonshine tasting in Gatlinburg and not quite as bougie as a wine tasting in the Napa Valley. Mead tasting sits in the neutral middle. Our taste master did a phenomenal job explaining what mead is and how it is used in winemaking and it was not only an interesting new adventure it was very educational. The place is set up three fold. One area as a store, one for tasting and another "bar area". It is decorated in all bee and honeycomb themed art and gives an artisanal vibe. We walked out with some honey but not as much as I would have liked due to the attitude of the little bully.

It was a lot of fun, and we ended it with a strawberry picking before heading into the store for a final purchase of some hibiscus lemonade and some tinctures of elixer, and some honey, of course. We thoroughly enjoyed it, and will definitely return. The First Sunday each month is apparently the one to pick, as it is filled with special tours and educational events.
