My family and I visited Chincoteague last weekend and decided to try this place after seeing all of the great reviews and boy were we glad to have visited. This place became a staple for us for just the few days we were in Chincoteague and there are no regrets. Coffee: Both myself and my partner ordered the Vietnamese iced milk coffee and it was out of this world delicious. This drink was a bit strong but that didn't deter me at all from ordering it every day we visited the coffee shop because it was that good. Pastries: my family ordered the butter and chocolate croissants and they were fantastic! Huge, buttery and chewy inside and flaky on the outside, the perfect combo! We also ordered their chocolate chip cookies on a whim and were pleasantly surprised at how tasty they were. Normally coffee shops aren't know for their cookies but these were the perfect chocolate chip cookies - thick, the right amount of chocolate and not too sweet. We also ordered their peach and pineapple slushie and it was super tasty. I'm not a fan of slushies as they taste pretty watered down but this drink was fresh and had the perfect balance of tart and sweetness! We absolutely loved Amarin Coffee! We ended up stopping here every single day of our vacation. Most mornings we grabbed danishes for the family, and every flavor we tried was delicious. The peach, apple, and coconut pineapple were all amazing. The first couple of days I ordered iced coffees, which were great, but then I discovered the Vietnamese iced milk coffee...wow. It was so good, and I only wish I had found it sooner because I would've ordered it every day. If you're in the area, this place is definitely worth a stop. Took forever. Order messed up. Forgot one of our drinks and had to wait for it for a while. "Lattes" have very little milk. And to top it all off they gave us a thin straw for the boba drink that the boba didn't even fit in. (In the drive through you don't pick your own straw it's given to you) This was already the second or third chance given for them. They are always out of pastries too. So color me surprised. On the way out of Chincoteague Island in the midst of a nor'easter we had to stop early morning before we cross the causeway to grab some coffee. This little unassuming place smelled amazing and then there were the bakery pastries. Decadent beyond belief. Their coffee was fabulous as were the peach and blueberry danish that we picked up. The pastries looked pretty good, the croissants were huge, so I only tried coffee. The latte was okay, not super skillful in terms of foam, and the coffee was strong but tasted more burnt than I typically like. The barista was waiting to take orders and was quick. So flaky and giant and a delicious almond filling, without being too sweet. They sell out fast. We went in on a Sunday around 8:30 and they were already out of several items. Definitely go early if you want your pick of pastries! They have a drive thru that you can order from too, which appeared to be moving quickly. The space inside had lots of tables but wasn't air conditioned well so it was super hot. They also have a little food truck in the back where you can order breakfast sandwiches. I have absolutely nothing but glowing praise for these folks! People said that these are the best croissants that you'll ever have, and that very well may be true! My wife has been to Paris and still said that this was the best she has ever had. Other reviewers warn that you have to get there early before they sell out, and that is very true: we arrived just before 9am and they were sold out of plain butter croissants, and we got the last three chocolate croissants!
