I came here because I thought it was an actual farm. Lol. A tad misleading but I'm very glad I went in. I bought multiple jars of honey and was extremely satisfied. Their honey is very tasty. So please note this just a store. Not an actual "honey farm" aside from some large pictures on the wall, you won't see any real bees. Although they do sell honey comb. The store is rather small but very well stocked. Also once you enter you are hit with a nice aroma. Probably from all the candles being sold too. There is also an extensive local honey tasters. The prices are actually slightly cheaper than what you'd normally expect. The lady was nice and she overheard me mention I wanted to buy a lavender infused honey as a gift for my friend and offered to wrap those gifts extra pretty. In addition to the honey there were other honey related objects to chose from, from beauty care such as scrubs and lotions to chap sticks and soaps. This is a really cute little shop. They have tons of honey and even pollen. They also have soap, lotions, cremes, candles, books, greeting cards, shirts, and lip balms. Of course, everything contains honey. All of the prices are also very reasonable. I got two soap bars (Oatmeal and Honey, and Lavender Honey), a grey shirt with their bee logo (it's very soft!), and a lip tint. My boyfriend got a little jar of honey which paired very well with brie cheese and crackers. The guy who was working in the shop was also nice and knowledgeable on honey. Being big believers and users of raw, local honey, I was excited to come across the Cape May Honey Farm online, and immediately added it to our list of shops to visit. The store itself is cozy in appearance, but when we went it was pretty cold and drafty. And if you have more than a couple of customers, it becomes very loud and echo-y. They have a nice selection of all things honey. They have both local and non-local honeys, including some of their own, as well as bee pollen, bath and body products, teas, and some sweets. The owner was very nice and happy to answer all of our questions, educating us on some of the different honeys, and offering as many samples as we liked. We left with a jar of some raw local cranberry honey, as well as a chocolate bar sweetened with honey, some manuka throat lozenges (I almost can't wait to get sick again to try them out), and a last minute impulse purchase lip color, made with bees wax, and is quickly becoming one of my favorite pieces of makeup. The prices were pretty much on par for what you'd pay elsewhere for these kinds of products. A great store, and conveniently located around the corner from my favorite restaurant in Cape May, so I'll definitely hit it up next time we're in town, after brunch! read more

How I wish the woman who helped the previous reviewers had been there the day I came in. Instead I was "grunted at" by an indifferent gentlemen seated at the cash register, busy chatting with another local gentlemen who was obviously not an active customer. He barely looked up at me, and made absolutely no effort to assist me after his initial glance in my direction. I walked around looking at some very nice items for sale, but after 5 minutes, I felt so unwelcome there, that I just decided to leave. This is not typical for local Cape May business interaction. I love this honey store. They sell local honey in addition to other honeys and products. My favorite is the local blueberry blossom honey. I've been to the store several times and they have always been friendly and willing to let us try samples to see which ones we liked best.
