Although I only get here when I visit family, we love to stop by this local spot! Local produce, flowers, plants, and more. Sharing some of the recipes I've made from this spot, but it has so many options! We also get the flowers regularly! The owner is a great guy, so def come check this sport o

When you drive by it looks like a road side produce stand and little plant nursery....but it is a diamond in the rough!! I have occasionally picked up some produce but this week I did not feel like driving to Chesapeake Beach or Solomons to pick up some fresh local seafood. I gave this place a shot and what a pleasant surprise!! If you are a foodie got to try it....I got a few dozen clams and they also carry local raised meat. The girl at the store gave me the spiel about hormone free, humanly raised, personally all I care about is the taste. I decided to pick up a few Delmonico steaks and they also had this black olive loaf bread. We had friends coming in for dinner and everything was a huge hit. The stakes were INCREDIBLE, very tender, well marbled and I would grade them as prime beef. They were nicely trimmed of fat and a nice thicker cut. I paid about $13.50 a pound and this is comparable to steaks I have paid over $20.00 a pound. I sliced 1/2 the black olive bread and warmed it in the oven, it disappeared off the table and I had to run back in the kitchen to slice up the other half of the loaf. The bread was a major yummmmmm. Now to the clams, we did theses as a starter. Every one opened and they were sweet. Next trip down to the beach, I am going to stop by. I am going to eat my way through this place. Give it a try, if you love good food like I do you will be delighted.

Amazing crabs. Got a dozen jumbos. They weren't as big as some I've gotten elsewhere but really tasty and all but one were heavy. Also got a striped bass. Just know they come whole so you need to gut and scale. We will just deep fry it to bypass scaling. Got a variety of produce and sausage.. Hope to taste them soon. It's an hour hike from where I live but makes a nice road trip through scenic countryside. I plan to return at least monthly. Look forward to the fall activities with my toddler.

We got there at 9:30 and the kitchen was closing at 10:00.. we had the smash burger, the atomic smash burger, clam strips, and chicken wings.. all the fried foods were amazing, including the fries that come with the clam strips. Right away, I could tell they were using fresh frying oil and everything was freshly fried.. most places double fry precooked stuff and use old oil.. to my surprise, everything was freshly made! Smash burger, they have smash burger! What? The fact that they served their signature Atomic smash burger with jalapeño, cheese, an onion ring, pulled pork or brisket, bacon, plus coleslaw?? This was amazing! The standard smash burger was just burger patties and cheese.. it was also really good. Chicken wings were like Korean fried chicken level good wings. I was a bit surprised how plump and juicy they were with really good sauce.. the waitress recommended Old Bay honey and lemon pepper, a half-and-half order that was amazing.. my daughter substituted her smash burger fries with green string beans.. wow, that was really amazing.. not some canned, mushy string beans, but rather really fresh, almost like they picked them from a local farm--buttered, salted, then fire-roasted.. are you kidding me? I wasn't even that hungry and took half of my burger home, munched it up the day after, and it was like eating an upgraded White Castle burger! Delicious.. anyway, this place is a real hidden gem.. I've had better food and service here compared to well-known restaurants across Los Angeles, New York, Baltimore, etc.... Go check them out!

Good food with a great view…read more At first we were hesitant to go in, from the look of what we thought was the front, but luckily we didn't got far enough down the odd road surrounding the restaurant to the front. Inside is reminiscent of a beach bar, setup to host live bands, while surrounding it on the outside is some great seats overlooking a tributary to the Chesapeake or Patuxent river. Outdoor seating was awesome. All chairs were trex like Adirondack style, making for a comfy and conversational style table. Food was good, we didn't order anything too fancy, and their menu was very pub style, but we were still happy with what we ordered. Fish and chips had very tasty breading and thick steak fries, Caesar salad was big (maybe over dressed, but the person eating it loved it), and the nachos had good presentation and tasted good (even though you could definitely tell it was canned cheese). Great outing for those looking for pub fare out on the water in a quiet neighborhood, with a ton of parking (boat docks too), to get some pub fare or cocktails and enjoy the scenery.

Our server Taylor was very kind, fun to talk to and ensured we had everything we needed. She truly made our experience special. The orange crush was great and the crab cake sandwich was very good. The star was the blackened ahi tuna. It was so good we ordered two of them as an appetizer. My friend had shrimp tacos, they were huge. She said they were really good. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

It's not very big (I counted only 11 tables), but definitely very cozy. The menu was fairly similar to some other places in the area (fish tacos are always temping, lol), but I managed to find something different. Service was a little slow, as we were part of a big rush and there were only 4 employees (2 servers, 2 kitchen). But it was worth the wait. My wife had the French toast from the Sunday brunch menu, while I had the chicken banh mi wrap. Both were very good. My wife started with a Cosmo, her favorite cocktail, and said it was excellent. We shared the strawberry salad lunch special and the Popeye burger with fries. The fries were an unusual and cool wide spiral cut, and some of the best we'd ever had. The burger was wagyu beef with Boursin and spinach. The salad had a nice touch of candied walnuts. We got dessert. The flourless lava cake and the key lime pie. Both were amazing and took us to the threshold of diabetes. This has to be one of the best restaurants in the area! It's absolutely wonderful.
