Best place in Longview to get a pedicure! I've been coming here for years. Tried a few other places but Island Nail Lounge is the best!

This was my second & last visit. The sign outside prompted me to visit again. It advertised buy one service get 1/2 off the second. I asked the woman doing my pedicure if the special was still good. She said yes, so I got a manicure as well. The pedicure & manicure both seemed to be good. However less than 5 days later the shellac polish is chipping and on the 6th day it has begun to peel off of one of my nails. Shellac normally lasts 3 weeks or more before it starts lifting. This is unacceptable. Oh and when it was time to pay they did not honor the promotion. I do not recommend this salon. read more

Island Nail Lounge - Nail Salons Near Me - Longview, Texas

Used to go all the time. Went today and didn't notice till I got home she doesn't paint sides of nail or down towards cuticle all the way. One big toe was much darker then other one also. Very unhappy! Her name is Mary. read more

Nail Tech nails are too long, therefore, can't provide a good quality of service. When brought to her attention how poorly her work was, she tells me everywhere charges the amount I paid. What's sad is when trying to explain why I wasn't satisfied, she didn't understand it wasn't about the money, but the quality of her work. read more

Did not do what I asked. They had to redo my pedicure because it lifted and bubbled immediately after they were done. In addition, kept changing the price. Very disappointed. The worse pedicure and gel service. Also did one coat of gel color and it has not been 24hrs & my gel manicure is already cracking and lifting. Very disappointed. read more

I went for a full set of acrylic nails and crystals they did not disappoint although the person doing my nails was a little rough and caused some discomfort but 10/10 would go again read more

Island Nail Lounge - Nail Salons Near Me - Longview, Texas

I have been back to this Salon three times in a week's time. I got my nail done for the first time in FOREVER.(Monday) I didn't get what I asked for they just did what they wanted to do. I tried to explain that wasn't what I want and it went in one ear and out the next. When I left my nails were bumpy and the tips that I had to pay $20 was horrible. I then called explained how I was just in there and my nails were bumpy etc. They told me that they would fix it for me just ask for "Andy." The next morning (Tuesday)I get there and someone else fixes them. I was happy it was decent. (Friday) my nails started popping off. It was my anniversary and honestly, that was really the only reason why I got my nail done to start with. I lost two nails Friday night, Two more Saturday, and Sunday as well. My husband called and spoke to "Andy" yet again and told me they would fix it. It's Monday! (Today) I walked in and I had only one nail left on my right hand. 3 on the left. I asked if I could just have my money back just for the nail service. I was told no, absolutely not, we will fix it. I sit in the chair. The Andy guy was already upset with me. He said that it was my fault my nails were falling off because of my thumbs. (I will post pictures) He told me I shouldn't have gotten dip, which I stated I told his staff I didn't want that but of course it's not their fault. It's mine. He is doing my nails and I paid extra for "V-tip" I tried to suggest him just doing a regular tip and he flip out on me telling me I would have to pay to get that done, I looked at him and I told him flat out he wasn't going to speak to me like that. He then stated I was rude first and I then told him he wasn't going to fix my nails. I then stated that is fine but one way or another they are gonna get done. He pick the drill up and was going fast to get me out the way. When it came to him painting the "V- tips" It was not even and I told him that. He got mad again. When it was finally done and the machine beeped that my nails were done he yanked the machine out from over my hand and told me to get out. I told him I was washing my hands and I would leave. I WILL NEVER COME BACK HERE! read more

AWFUL!! they charged me $300 for things i did not ask for nor get. i asked for 4 classic pedicures which are $28 and 4 manicures which were $40 each. when i called to get a refund the woman was rude and denied it. i have my receipt, 2/5 of us asked for matching nails and toes and we did not get matching. i want a refund. i would never recommend this place to anyone. read more

Island Nail Lounge - my hands and feet do not match like i asked. - Nail Salons Near Me - Longview, Texas

Horrible service!! I will never be back. This was my third time trying this place and each time has been poor. I came during my lunch break and had my nails soaked for over 45 minutes. 2 other people came in after me and I was still soaking. I had to leave and couldn't stay with dry unfinished nails. I wouldn't recommend anyone to go here. Customers in the salon were apologizing to me bc it was that bad. read more

I signed in for a Mani/pedi at 3:50. They told me to sit at chair five. I was still sitting 50 minutes later. I wasted an hour. They could have told me there was an hour wait. I'll not be back. read more

Absolutely loved this establishment. Went today for a mani pedi & my 3 year old daughter wanted her tied painted. The woman who did my pedicure, was so sweet. She was very patient with my daughter (who is a wiggle worm). They were pretty pricey tho. They failed to mention they charge $15 extra for shellac so I was surprised with the high bill. Not sure if I'll be going back but the service was amazing! read more

Hygienic! Quick & efficient service! Nail technicians are knowledgeable and very accommodating! I went with the mani dip & the regular peti, there was not complications, no mistakes, in addition they offer complimentary drink or an option of something stronger if ordered. I am a satisfied continued customer!!! Certainly recommend this cute & customer friendly salon! read more

My manicure was awesome but the pedicure was horrible it was rushed and he focused more on my legs than my feet . I won't be back and anybody I know I will tell them to go else where for a pedicure cause island lounge does a horrible job read more

I was going here for about 2 months. If the girl on the left end isn't doing your nails it's gonna be fucked up honestly. My nails were ALWAYS uneven and thick as hell unless she was there do it. The dip powder is old and you can definitely tell. The service is rude as hell. I had 4 nail techs stand over me last time I can because I was getting nails soaked off that THEY did and I was being looked at in a disgusting way. It took hours to do btw. They only offer drinks to certain customers. I saw the guy get mad because the black girl wanted wine he tried to act like he couldn't understand what she was saying but was pouring wine for the other customers! NEVER GO HERE! read more

Rude staff and terrible service. They grab and twist your fingers and it is quite painful. They also file down cuticles! Very unprofessional. Don't come here. read more

Do NOT go here. Took a friend and myself to get a pedicure for Christmas, a gift and a treat. WORST PEDICURES EVERI could have done what I got myself at home. $110 for a half assed pedicure. Then called the owner to let him know and he said "manager not here.". Dont waste your money like I did read more

This was the worst nail experience I've ever had! They don't understand English very well (so they act like) and they try to rush you and do what they want to do that's easier and faster! Previously I had my nails and toes done, but was here visiting with my daughter and stopped in. Wanted the tip taken off my big toes, but she excused me and painted them anyway. WELL ANOTHER TECH NOT HER! Then she had me to soak my own nails and scrub off my own nails and polish! THEN I had to go to yet another tech, who I told I wanted the same as on my toes, and he kept telling me the dip was better! So he proceeded to apply like acrylic. The colors didn't match and so he said I'll go ahead and paint over the dips!!! The color still didn't match my toes! They had a special for half off second service, but it didn't apply to me!!!!!! Nails were not dry and the tech wanted me to wash my hands, which left towel residue all over them! I paid almost $100 and never will I again!!!! Very poor service. read more

NO NO NO NO NO NO NOOOOOOOO!!!! Buy one service and get half off the second sounds great right? The cheap way isn't always the best way. Trust me when I say you get what you pay for. I will never go back!! I normally don't nail shop hop but for the deal and sister time we tried them out. They do horrible work however they were nice people. I have enough friends so for friendliness really does not count. Save your money!! The one star is solely because they were nice and they gave me a water when I was coughing. read more

I have used them for over a year was always pleased with my nails. Took off for a few months and went back. The guy who done my nails didn't fill my nail bed in all the way with the dip. He also made them to short and I contacted them told them I wasn't pleased. Andy was going to fix them. I was out of town for two weeks. I contacted them last night and told them I had been out of town could I just get a refund. Andy agreed. I was in Longview stopped by to pick up the refund. Andy was out. So I waited. Andy came in I told him who I was and that he said I could come in for a refund.he said no I can fix them it's been two weeks. Well with my job I can't have nails I explained this. I also explained that I have pictures to show how bad they looked when they was done. Andy was still rude and didn't do as he said he would. I don't want them to touch my nails. I just wanted my refund. My very dissatisfied with how they are treating customer. They tell you one thing and then it's 100% different when u get there. Never again will I go back. read more

Wish I could leave ZERO stars. This used to be the the only place I went to have my nails done. They started out and won me over with attention to detail, modern design and technique in addition to good customer service. Now they are frequently short staffed, unable to do designs and seem to always be out of any color requested. Don't go in with a picture of what you want and expect them to assist in finding a color even close to your request. You will be handed antiquated "books" to select your own color. These books look as if they haven't been updated in at least a decade. I asked the technician if he could do a certain design and was met with "I don't know how to do that design." Not a problem. So then I ask what type of design do you know how to do.....his reply, "None. I don't know how to do designs". My initial thought was "Then why are you even here?" I wanted to ask but did not. I thanked him and took my money elsewhere. Great way to lose a few customers. Myself along with other members of my household will not be returning. And to think, I have referred PLENTY of people to this nail salon. This is not a one time instance because I'm quite understanding and give people multiple chances. There were no customers in the salon that day and about 6 technicians sitting idle. Guess that should have been my sign to turn around and leave. Please go back to Houston as you have blended in with the rest of the salons that only do what they want to and seem to never have or know how to do what one requests. Customer service needs improvement, hire willing employees who are up to date on latest trends, or just shut it down. Won't be open for much longer if you keep this up!!!!!! read more
