And the owner is the best, most polite, knowledgeable and patient man ever. It took me hours to make a decision on the best dive computers for me and for my son and he was so nice to talk to me for hours. We looked at different models, he went outside with me to show me how the different screens look in bright sunlight and I just have no words to give him enough credit. In the past I have serviced my previous dive computer and my regulator with him and he does such a good job with German precision (and he is German). Scuba Frisco is the place to go.

I needed this to happen in a short time and while it's warm in the Caribbean, it's not so much here in North Texas. Frank accommodated my need to be certified quickly with enthusiasm. And he heated his pool up to 86 degrees on a 35-degree day for the occasion. He's not going to cut corners, he teaches in a way so that his students learn. Some days it is so beautiful in the water and you can see really cute fish, like bass, perch, and even an occasional turtle! It's such a fun, relaxing place to enjoy scuba and I so appreciate the beautiful bathrooms and showers. Makes for such a great scuba diving, full of bubbles weekend! Eventually got it straightened out, but not before the manager took a very defensive stance, as if I was blaming him. He told me it is the computer's fault and that it happens all the time! All the time?? Really??? Buyer beware at Academy!!!

You need to watch entering this location. There is lip on the entrance ramp going into the store…read moreyou cannot see. How do I know? Because I fell going inside. It was a bad fall too. I cracked several ribs, cut my arm open, and hit my head. Also banged my knee bad. Also had a concussion. Nice. A younger female employee came out to help me. She seemed like the only employee to give a crap. I don't know her name but she was young and very sweet. She took the time to get a first aid kit and help clean my bloody arm up. She got her manager and reported my fall to him. I was also told she had seen at least 4-5 other people fall due to the ramp coming in and has been reporting it to her management. I was also told they had someone come out to fix the ramp but the actual problem was not fixed. Someone needs to promote her to manager because she was the only one who gave a damn. It's been several days since I fell and I'm still laid up. The manger should have called out paramedics, and should have put out some kind of warning out to prevent others from falling. I mean it you need to really watch out at the entrance. I can't believe they haven't been sued over it yet.
