They demonstrate everything clearly and explain each skill thoroughly, citing real-world examples based on their own experience as divers and active members of the diving community. Rick is a wealth of knowledge (on diving, dive skills, dive gear, you name it!) And provided all of us with excellent instruction as well as feedback. Dawn offers useful, alternate explanations--in addition to one-on-one reinforcement for students who need more time or assistance in fully understanding and mastering a skill. They don't gloss over anything, and they spend as much time as the group needs in order for each student to feel comfortable, which I really appreciate. Having the two of them also allows individual students to have that valuable one-on-one time with Dawn while Rick continues his instruction, so students that need more time on a skill don't feel like they're holding up the group or feel embarrassed like they are the center of attention when the rest of the group is ready to move on. I'm already thinking about what scuba diving courses I want to take next! I highly recommend the Scuba Shop for those who are looking for more than just getting certified and "getting it over with." The pool is mainly for…read moreschool purposes, so it can be a bit frustrating when they say there is lap swim and all lanes are taken. If you remind yourself the pool is mainly for the kids, then it helps the sting of getting to the pool and having no lap lanes available. Having lived in multiple states and having swum at many pools, always having a set number of lanes open to the public is one way to get around that. But they try very hard to be accommodating. To the reviewers of the front desk: Monica and the rest of the staff are actually very nice. My first 1-2 visits were cordial, but after just a few visits you'll realize they are very nice and caring. Plus everyone has a bad day. The pool manager and lifeguards are also very kind. To the mother who's kids were cold: the pool is kept in the low 80's. I used to teach swim lessons and many children shiver. So they just must keep moving. A pool warmer than the low 80's is too hot for competitive swimming, which is what this pool is designed for. You might search out a pool that works with folks with medical problems or a pool designed only for giving lessons. Those pools are kept around 90 degrees. It's also a myth that you can catch a cold from being cold. So most likely your kids were already sick when they got to the pool.

He is incredibly thorough and makes sure that everything is done properly. He also takes the time to explain everything he's doing in depth if you ask. He is also very responsive and gets back to you quickly if you have any questions. His pricing is also reasonable, especially considering the high quality work he does. I cannot recommend this company enough.

My elderly Mothers Home Warrant company sent this company for replacement of a hvac unit. The…read moreexperience was not good. The unit has failed 5 month after installation, the home warranty company sent another technician out the unit installed was not installed to code, unit not hung sitting on the rafters, wired improperly, drainage was not hooked up, roof vent not attached leaving open hole in the roof. Now we are being charged to uninstall and reinstall, bring up to code, wiring modification etc. to the tune of 2900.00. This company has taken advantage of my Mother and was paid to do a job professionally and it was not done. they will not return calls or emails on the issue, unacceptable in any industry. Kyle

Once you book and make that deposit, communication becomes lacking. Multiple of my guests had issues getting in contact with Alicia. Often times, Alicia would go days, or weeks, without answering if answered at all. Her "assistant" Hannah often times would respond after you've emailed multiple times and inform you that Alicia is "out of office" yet again. Thankfully I got in contact with my wedding planner from Sandals/Beaches and planned a lot of it with her through emails, because Alicia missed a lot of information and we missed out on one of the locations we really wanted due to this. We were able to pick another location, but obviously you never want to settle when it is your wedding day. The location we originally picked was not available from the beginning, which was communicated to Alicia, but never communicated to us until about 1.5 months before we were set to fly to Jamaica. What is normally stressful as a bride, was made almost unbearable by using her services. We also booked our honeymoon through Alicia, in which credits were misplaced and we also had a "free catamaran cruise" but that was never communicated to us until the resort was attempting to fix our credits on the day before departing. I reached out to Alicia due to finding her on the Sandals/Beaches website & another travel planner at the same time. Alicia charges for her services, a hefty fee, where others do not. Due to this, I thought she would be more qualified, diligent, and involved. I was very wrong. The only time Alicia was prompt with communication is when she wanted her payment toward the end of planning, when issues were still being had with getting my credits/refund. We flew out, and Alicia did not reach out to us until the morning of the wedding. Not once did she check on how things were going at the resort, mind you she also charges a large fee to fly to the resort with you and 'assist' which we opted not to do since the experience had already been extremely frustrating. On returning home, she also did not reach out. These may seem like small things but when you book a wedding with 35+ people traveling to a foreign country, you could wish them safe travels? Fortunately my wedding was great, and I'm so thankful I got in contact with the wedding planners offsite, and the onsite team was amazing. There were definitely moments that needed to be fixed last minute & unfortunately this left a very negative impact on us. I would highly recommend and suggest doing research before hiring someone like this for your biggest day, or even small travel. I have screenshots and emails from all communication. As it's been awhile, I finally used the credit to buy some Christmas gift for our family.
